Hi girls!

Recently found out that I’m pregnant and based on my last period I think I should be 4 weeks today! Just wanted to start a thread to see if there’s anyone else who’s in the same boat?

I’m so excited but also extremely nervous about the thoughts of a miscarriage so just wanting to reach out to people who are at a similar stage :)

Thanks! Xx

Thanks @OrDis they seem to have settled for now so I'll keep an eye! Feel like the doctors wont want to know until 6 weeks 🤷‍♀️ which has put me off rining them but I'll see how it goes thanks xxx

Hey everyone is ok for me to join this thread I found out this morning I am pregnant I have pcos so really irregular periods so I would t know how far along I am however I did a clear blue and it says 1-2 weeks which says on the leaflet a doctor would calculate that as 3-4?? Does that sound right? So confusing. I have been trying for 2 years, 2 miscarriages so I am absolutely terrified! I had really bad af cramps last night was convinced it was going wrong, would love to chat to you all xx

4 weeks pregnant :)

Congratulations @LITTLEPICKLES88 !!!
Those weeks indicators are known to not be that accurate! You could be more or less than that. I have done two of them and I wouldn't say they were accurate for me and I've heard several people say this! You won't know until your first scan really! But congratulations and I wish you well with it all x x

LITTLEPICKLES88 · 31/01/2020 16:30

@LuckyWright
Oh really! That's good to know hopefully I'm more then, a little less worrying at least! Xx

twinkleyes35 · 31/01/2020 17:42

LITTLEPICKLES88 · 20/02/2020 10:10

I'm 8 weeks and suffering bad from morning sickness x

LITTLEPICKLES88 · 02/07/2020 09:54

How is everyone? I'm now 26 weeks!

Daniella89 · 20/01/2021 03:14

Congratulations everyone Smile!

I am 31 and been TTC since October.

I tested last night and got a BFP. I believe I am just over 4 weeks.

I havent slept much as I am so excited.
We are still in shock (in a good way!) In the same breath we are trying not to get excited as I'm also worried about miscarriage and find myself checking every time I go to the toilet which is a lot more than usual. Apart from that I don't seem to have any symptoms apart from feeling bloated.

This is the first time I am expecting so any advice is greatly appreciated especially around vitamins etc.

I'm going to ring my doctors this morning and see what advice they have

georgiexo · 20/01/2021 10:23

@Daniella89 massive congratulations! It is a worrying time getting to your first scan! I'm sure all will be good, rest up now until Sept/Oct time. This is exactly where we all were this time last year - so exciting! Good luck xx

Daniella89 · 20/01/2021 10:26

@georgiexo thank you for your reply. When I hit post I realised the thread was over a year old!Blush

I blame the fact it was 3am.

Hope everything went well for you xx

georgiexo · 20/01/2021 10:30

@Daniella89 no problem haha I remember coming in here after finding out bewildered writing on loads of threads! Thank you, my babes currently kicking around and shouting on her play mat.

Everything feels like such a long wait when you're pregnant constantly waiting for next appt then waiting to meet them etc then once they're here you can't believe it only takes 9 months to grow them - our bodies do such an amazing thing so enjoy it! Xxxx

RadDarwazeh · 21/01/2021 10:56

Hi everyone please can I join I just love how active this chat is. My name is rad I'm from Cannock (west midlands girl again) and I am 4 weeks, tested positive two days ago! I am bloaty and eating everything some days and have an aversion to food other days! Nice to meet you all. Are you more active on here or on Facebook group? I'll be happy to join that too if it's more active?

RadDarwazeh · 21/01/2021 10:57

Omg I just realised this thread is really old! Oops! Well hello to all anyway 🤣

Daniella89 · 21/01/2021 11:38

@RadDarwazeh

Helloooo!! I done the exact thing a few days ago. I am also 4 weeks and tested postive 2 days ago.

I'm a North East girl Smile.

This is my first. Is this your 1st? The only symptoms I am getting at the moment is I'm super bloated but hungry constantly

RadDarwazeh · 21/01/2021 13:00

His @Daniella89 yep this is gonna be my first. I'm paranoid AF is gonna start and I worry s lot. But all good so far! Do you have any particular hunger preferences? My due dates Sep29th how about you? Xc

Daniella89 · 21/01/2021 13:12

@RadDarwazeh I am also worried about the same thing! So trying not to get too excited but I have also decided that positive thoughts cant harm anything. So me and my partner have a rule to only think positively.

But inside I do worry and I don't think he's letting him self get too excited (so probably not working out that well!)

No cravings. How about you?

I estimate my due date to be arround the 24th of September.

Have you contacted your GP yet? I rang them yesterday and they advised a midwife would call me in the next couple of weeks.

Oh and what vitamins are you taking? So much to think about xx

RadDarwazeh · 21/01/2021 13:54

@Daniella89 I'm taking pregnacare original currently. And I called the GP and the receptionist very sharply said we only refer to midwifery at 6 weeks. Which is fine but whatever. I guess they're stressed at the GPS currently!

Today my hunger has decreased actually! Weird for me. I adore food especially sweet things. Asked DH for a small jacket potato for dinner later.
