I thought I'd start this thread for anyone who's pregnant following IVF as there are some things that are only really relevant to IVF pregnancies, like certain medications. It would be good to have some people in a similar situation to talk to.

It’s my 12 week scan tomorrow. Was scanned at 9 weeks and all fine but still v anxious! A work colleague had her 12 weeks scan In August and found out that her baby had died - so that’s been on my mind a lot. Feels like such a milestone - wish me luck!

Good luck @tickety1

Wishing you lots of luck for tomorrow @Tickety1 I felt very anxious too but today was our 12wk scan and I must say it was the best experience through this whole journey! I could've watched the screen all day!! Let us know how you get on x

Just Incase anyone's wondering I agree with @EarlGreyT where they shouldn't change your due date, my consultant told me today with ivf babies you should have another scan at 36 weeks to determine whether baby is okay to go to due date, if they may bring on labour early or offer a c section. Spontaneous pregnancies are able to go over 13 days due to not knowing the ovulation dates. Hoping this helps anyone who might be unsure, I certainly was before today lol x

My due date was changed 3 days forward at 12wk scan too even though they arent supposed to. As such my due date is tomorrow but actually based on IVF its Monday (and being induced then as I spoke to consultant about studies I'd read and she agreed to it - otherwise noone had mentioned anything about extra scans or the need for induction or c section or anything due to IVF. Everything has been treated as totally normal pregnancy bar IVF being a risk factor - it seems I wouldnt be falling within any such category otherwise so they're not fussed)

Thanks everyone for your supportive messages. Good news- scan went well. Two of everything there is supposed to be and the little bean was jumping about all over the place. even for a close up of a little hand - so amazing. Both of us are so relieved and delighted- i guess we can get telling people now! X
