I thought I'd start this thread for anyone who's pregnant following IVF as there are some things that are only really relevant to IVF pregnancies, like certain medications. It would be good to have some people in a similar situation to talk to.

I'm 8 weeks tomorrow. I feel a little anxious coming off the meds but the nurse at the clinic yesterday said my body should be making the hormones now...it still makes me nervous lol it's a bit like a comfort blanket 🙈

Hi ladies 👋

I’m currently 13+6 following a frozen ICSI cycle at the end of June. Can’t shake my pessimism at all - keep assuming that something is going to go wrong, even though I’ve already had 5 scans and all looks well.
Stopped all IVF meds 2 weeks ago, now just on the higher dose folic acid, and aspirin. Very much wishing someone could just knock me out until the baby is ready to be born!!!

@Whatelsecouldibecalled, glad everything is going well. I've been told I'll stop my Inhixa and Crinone at 10 weeks and then Cyclogest at 12 weeks. I'm nervous about coming off them too but only 8 weeks today so got a few weeks to get through first.

I still don't have much in the way of symptoms, the odd wave of nausea when I'm hungry but that's about it. I'm getting quite worried it's a bad sign. Scan on Friday so fingers crossed that little heartbeat is still there!

@Whatelsecouldibecalled - I came off meds Thursday and also felt very nervous. It’s like a security blanket. I had a tiny bit of spotting this morning and had an adrenalin rush, as I haven’t spotted at all throughout, but sure it’s fine. Just stressful!

@Passionfruit20 and @Hopingforbabyd did you both stop cold turkey or wean down? My clinic have said stop everything cold turkey today 😱😱😱

I had bad news yesterday, out little baby's heart has stopped beating. I'm going to leave this thread with the hope that I'll be back again soon. I wish you all the very best of luck xx

@Whatelsecouldibecalled I weaned off from 10 weeks and was stopped completely by 12. Drugs don't work well with me so it was so nice to be off them.

@Whatelsecouldibecalled cold turkey for me too however the body apparently has the hormones already pumping round since our little ones implanted so that gives me some hope all will be okay 😊

I’m 9 weeks tomorrow- had a bleed at 6.5 weeks and I thought it was all over but had a scan and our little bean was very definitely still there with heartbeat going strong :) They asked me to come back in for another scan to check all ok as so that’s tomorrow morning. V nervous about it and keeping fingers crossed. How’s everyone else?

9 weeks yesterday. Feeling SO sick this week, just every day is a nauseous struggle! Looking forward to 12 week scan. Hope your scan went well this morning @tickety1

Thanks @Passionfruit20 all went well with today’s scan - huge relief! Confirmed that there is a second sac in there that is empty- so the embryo must have split and both implanted but only one developed. I am just relieved that there is one little one in there still doing fine. 3 weeks till 12 week scan now - next big milestone .
