Some lovely stuff there @avocadoincident
The maternity wear is good but I’m told runs on the small size.
I’m getting the pjs and the cute giraffe baby stuff.

avocadoincident · 07/09/2019 19:30

I bought a dress for me in my last pregnancy and I would say it's true to size. I did take a coat back once as it was too small though. X

Dinosauraddict · 07/09/2019 19:51

@MunchyMunchkin I can't see a giraffe? How's everyone feeling this weekend? I've been traipsing round town all day and am now totally exhausted. Am also really run down and can't stop shivering, with some quite nasty cramps.

Yvonne1988 · 07/09/2019 19:58

@dinosauraddict I'm feeling pretty great this weekend. I'm sleeping well at the moment so I feel like a human. My daughter at her friends tonight so it's just me and the TV.
Dreading next week from Tuesday on wards. Being left on my own in the kitchen at work which isn't supposed to happen

MunchyMunchkin · 07/09/2019 20:07

@Dinosauraddict the babygrows are both giraffe and so is one of the hooded jumpers.

Dinosauraddict · 07/09/2019 20:15

@MunchyMunchkin glad you're feeling human and enjoy your TV evening! I see what you mean now - hadn't spotted the giraffes!!

emmaclare83 · 09/09/2019 10:32

@Dinosauraddict I was absolutely shattered this weekend and slept on and off all day yesterday. Trying my hardest not to feel guilty about this...it's not like I have a bloody hangover is it?! I went back to school (I'm a teacher) last week so no doubt I'm just feeling that. Also had the pleasure of the onset of horrendous piles! Delightful! Sorry about the TMI [embarrassed]

DerbyshireGirly · 09/09/2019 14:19

Anybody in their second trimester yet who can attest to it being all roses and loveliness?

I have another two days left in my first trimester and if I don't wake up on Thursday suddenly full of beans and looking fabulous I am going to feel cheated! Grin Really I do know it won't work like that but I am so ready to enter this glowing goddess earth mother phase I keep hearing around fingers crossed

sep30 · 09/09/2019 15:05

@DerbyshireGirly I'm 15 weeks and have felt so much more human then past week! So I'm hoping the same goes for you! I could barely do a 10 minute walk with the dogs poor things and couldn't get through the day without at least one nap, but from last week back to 3-4 mile walks and don't feel as tired at all! It's bizarre, but so relieved! X

DerbyshireGirly · 09/09/2019 16:03

@sep30 thank you, that's just what I needed to hear. So it might not happen at 12:00:01 am on Thursday but it's coming! Wink

sep30 · 09/09/2019 16:55

@DerbyshireGirly 😂😂it will come soon (fingers crossed!)

Abi58 · 09/09/2019 18:23

@DerbyshireGirly 🤞🏻 for you, annoyingly I'm 15 weeks on Thursday and feel like I'm getting worse. On meds and still sick at least once a day and feel really nauseous the rest of the time and the last week or so I've been so tired, had a couple hour nap after shopping yesterday and today come 2pm my eyes were flickering shut at my desk...and the only glow I have is grease and sweat from throwing up 😭🙈 it does normally get better around 12 weeks but I'm still waiting for my magic week 🤞🏻

blondie87 · 09/09/2019 18:48

Oh @Abi58 you poor thing- I hope you get some respite soon!

I’m 15 weeks and have felt much better until recently. I’m absolutely exhausted by the afternoon and everything feels like an effort. Anyone else have this sheer exhaustion?

satsumasaturday · 09/09/2019 19:54

@Abi58 so sorry you're still feeling rotten. You'd hope it would have lifted by now, you must be exhausted. My dates changed last week at my scan - I'm now also 15 weeks Thursday so we now have the same due date 😊

Jesskir89 · 09/09/2019 21:17

I'm almost 13 weeks and have to admit I'm less tired than I was.

Jesskir89 · 09/09/2019 21:18

@naylor19 and @barnyb how are you getting on?

Naylor19 · 09/09/2019 21:24

Hey @Jesskir89 glad to hear it's easing up! Did you have your scan yet? I've been absent on here since starting work and haven't had time to catch up yet! I'm doing good, sickness has started to die down, still exhausted but not sure if that's work related rather than pregnancy! Lol I'm 11+5 as long as it's not changed again, I've got my scan next Friday can't wait! Smile

barnyb · 09/09/2019 22:13

@Jesskir89 hello lovely all good here too! Just growing this baby and my belly is also growing fast. :) 15 weeks now and feeling so much better in the day but I'm suffering at night time quite badly still. Hope ur ok what's new with you! ? Xxx

Jesskir89 · 09/09/2019 22:40

@naylor19 don't be over doing it. I've got a scan Friday should be 13 weeks :) @barnyb glad you're OK just checking in as been quiet lately xx

Dinosauraddict · 10/09/2019 06:05

Can't believe we're all entering our second trimesters! I'm 14+0 today! Still feeling exhausted but have been feeling less sick for about 10 days. Had first consultant appointment yesterday, wasn't entirely sure what I was supposed to be discussing/getting out of it but she was quite helpful. Also did a quick extra scan which was nice, I do like to see the baby. Grin Has anyone else got really low Vit D? I'm just waiting to start prescription and wondering if that combined with the anaemia is why I'm still so tired...

Naylor19 · 10/09/2019 06:45

@Jesskir89 it's just been so hectic, we're short staffed and we've had to redo classes part way into the new term so it's been crazy! But I'm hoping it will settle down now and there interviewing new staff soon. Aw not long to wait then ☺️ mine originally was supposed to be this week but I changed it back when my dates weren't adding up! But I rang them and they said next Friday should still be fine for all the testing.

DerbyshireGirly · 10/09/2019 09:10

@Abi58 oh that sounds crap, hope you feel better soon Sad

@Dinosauraddict I know, second trimester feels very "grown up"! Really seems like we're getting somewhere now...it doesn't seem long ago I was getting weekly emails saying he/she was the size of a poppy seed, then a sesame seed. Now we all have proper little babies inside us!

Jesskir89 · 10/09/2019 14:16

@naylor19 tell them you need to take it easy lol and I bet your dates will change again to catch up with me you're my conceived date twin lol. @dinosauraddict not that I know of have you been taking pregnacare?

Naylor19 · 10/09/2019 17:01

@Jesskir89 there quite good tbh I just never know when to stop! Lol yeah I'm hoping so that would be great! Less time to wait till baby's here then Smile I think by next Friday I'll of caught up some more as I'm already showing!

Jesskir89 · 10/09/2019 17:15

@naylor19 fingers crossed and me too but I just look fat lol she says sat here eating hobnobs haha
