Saw baby kicking it's legs and nodding it's head 😍. Have been put forward to 11+6 so due date has changed to Friday 13th March😂

@SLT90 well I ended up at the hospital from 10am until 3pm for this first appointment! DH rushed from work because it turned out that I was having a scan first, he stayed for the whole thing so I guess he'll work it out with his work tomorrow.

Finally confirmed as 11+5 so two days off what I thought EDD now 14th March. Saw baby's heartbeat and they were wriggling about loads, to say I'm relieved is an understatement. I know so many people who don't get this far so just cherishing each moment.

They did find a cyst though which they will keep an eye on as it's quite big already but all else seems fine.

@Yvonne1988 you can try the pessary but don’t use the applicator. Just pop it in with your finger. Then cream for external relief.
Just don’t mention the pregnancy as it’s prevents the pharmacist selling it. Absolutely safe though. If it doesn’t settle you’ll need the lower dose pessary over 6 days which has to be a GP prescription.
I work in Sexual health so deal with this a lot.

@Yvonne1988 I've been awake since 3am too. First night it's been this bad for me. Been listening to audio books to keep me entertained while DH snores...

@dinosauraddict I like to listen to crime podcasts. Managed to get another hour in. Always torn between getting up and watching TV or staying in bed and just keep trying. Too lazy to get up lol

A full 4 hour shift today In work.. iv been having naps all week and today I won't have time 😂
How I worked full time 9 hour days 4 days a week last time I will never know 😂

@Yvonne1988 I was listening to Harry Potter books! And I'm very jealous about your shifts. I work FT 5 days a week and am absolutely exhausted. Need more naps!

@dinosauraddict the first 3 days this week I was only in for an hour and a half! It would take a whole day just to talk about how awful my boss is. I was on 18 hours a week but she's a massive cow and now I'm on 9

That's great you got your scan done and all was well and that he decided to stay for the whole thing. Hopefully his work dont have a problem with it! It is within his rights to go though so they probably can't say anything! What a long day there though for you!!!

Had my second reassurance scan today, measuring right on track at 9+3. So pleased! Didn't drink water before hand so was a bit blurry but saw heartbeat and little limb buds flicking about

Just can't wait for the dating scan now so we can tell people. Have midwife at 11 weeks so hope she gets me in week after as it's our anniversary that week and would love to share with family then.

I've been holding off downloading an app but I keep giving myself little milestone so now everything is ok I can haha. What apps are you ladies using, is there a particularly good one? X

@ineedanotherholiday I have downloaded Bounty and What to Expect (love the latter as it shows their foot size each week), and I like to know what size fruit they're growing to - currently a lime

Has anyone felt any “quickening”? I’m 12 weeks tomorrow.. the feeling is unmistakable (2nd baby). I feel absolutely bonkers but I had it 3 days on the trot when I’ve gotten into bed & then nothing for 2 days 😔 I’ve read that this can happen and they can be very sporadic due to small baby moving around in large amounts of fluid etc. I just wondered if anyone had had anything similar? X

I must add that my first was 9lb 15 at 11 days overdue so I reckon everything is super stretched 😂 My stomach has blown straight back out again (last pregnancy was 6 years ago).

I think I’ve been super in tune as I took a big fall down a cliff/hill side whilst out hiking on Tuesday. I went to A&E but they wouldn’t scan or anything. Just told me to rest and return if any worsened pain or bleeding started.

I’ve got my first scan on Thursday.

@Dinosauraddict the numbers were dropping.. people coming in for dinner.. and I had 2 days off with a sore back so she completely flipped on me. Wouldnt talk to me. Everything was my fault. Can't cook good anymore. Hinting that it's so bad me or the other cook would lose our job. Honestly not enough time to explain the grief she causes. But she's sorry now. 1 person is leaving. 1 has gone to college and 1 quit on Tuesday 😂 there's no staff now.

Hi all, have been a massive lurker on here since I found out I was pregnant as I felt I would be jinxing it if I shared the news, silly I know! Had my 12 week scan and am 13 + 5 so due 1st March. Fingers crossed it isn't a day early and doesn't come on the leap year.
@Hope2020 they also found a 10cm cyst on my ovary which they're going to monitor. We're going to try and not find out what we're having but must be so hard at the 20 week scan when it's right there! Hope everyone is feeling better coming to the end of the first trimester xx

@Hope2020 we don't want to find out either and I was worried we'd accidentally see on the scan but the woman turned the screen away when it was too obvious and turned it back when it was safe to look

@ttc19 that fall sounds awful. Try not to worry too much as stress won't help. I fell top to bottom down the stairs when I was about 6 months pregnant with my first and all was well (only anecdotal but hopefully a little reassuring)
