Congrats on the good scan news @Jesskir89 and @Naylor19! Counting down the days until my first one!!! So so excited!

Naylor19 · 24/08/2019 18:04

Thanks @SLT90 such a relief! I'm counting down 27 days to my next already! When's yours? Smile

SLT90 · 24/08/2019 18:05

I got re-measured and sorted with a pair of M&S non wired bras today. Didn't realise until I put them on how uncomfy my normal bras had become! They fit like a dream 😍😍😍

Jesskir89 · 24/08/2019 18:49

Thank you @SLT90 this is my 2nd external scan lol going to wait now til 13th for my next. And that's good to know I might go to m&s :)

Jesskir89 · 24/08/2019 18:49

@Naylor19 I will thank you :) my mums already out there and isn't expecting us so it will be nice

Ginandtonic31 · 24/08/2019 19:08

Should I be concerned that my bras are still fine? I just feel like a barrel because I gained weight through IVF drugs.

avocadoincident · 24/08/2019 19:28

Update:

17: finding out sex
7: not finding out sex
2 undecided

Jesskir89 · 24/08/2019 19:56

@Ginandtonic31 mine are still technically fine but I know wireless would be more comfortable

Ginandtonic31 · 24/08/2019 19:58

@Jesskir89 I don't think mine have changed. But I don't have any boobs anyway. But I've not really had any symptoms either.

SLT90 · 24/08/2019 20:26

@Ginandtonic31 I don't think I really realised how much I needed the new size until I put it on! With my old bras I was on the loosest hooks, had my straps fully extended and had some over spill in the cups. I would say my boobs are maybe average to small sized but I was wearing a 32E after measuring with the boob or bust method a year or 2 ago. Shes put me at 36D on the tightest hooks so I have room to expand the back over the next few months. There is a little bit of spare space in the cups to allow for any more growing. She said I may need to come back for a re-fit once more during pregnancy and then just need to get nursing bras at the very end when baby due. I got a two pack for £20 and I might order one more pair online once I've trialled them this week. I changed into one as soon as I got home though! Way comfier

Ginandtonic31 · 24/08/2019 22:07

@SLT90 I'm only a 34C so not very big at all. Can get away with a 36B sometimes. But I haven't had to change the straps or anything in my bras and definitely not spilling out. But I've lost and gained weight over the years and they have never changed so just how I am I think 😂

ineedanotherholiday · 24/08/2019 22:22

Hey ladies, catching up lovely scan photos!

I won't be looking at anything to buy until around Xmas time either so past 20 weeks. As this is my first the choice of prams etc seems mind boggling!

Is anyone suffering from back pain? I'm not particularly worried as although I had back pain last time with my mmc, it was like period pain where it's that dull ache. This is, hard to describe but seems almost muscular, it started when out on a walk earlier today and now it hurts to even move. Getting up from a chair/the bed is particularly bad. Seems really stiff, I'm walking like I'm 9 months pregnant and ready to pop!

SLT90 · 24/08/2019 22:50

@Ginandtonic31 I always wore 34C/D depending on the shop until I found the boob or bust page. Using their method I measured at 30F! My boobs really aren't very big! But I found 30F hard to find in shops and also a bit too tight, so stuck with 32E. Apparently most bra places measure us too wide in the back and too small in the cup.

Ginandtonic31 · 24/08/2019 23:30

@SLT90 oh I'm definitely no bigger 😂 I was actually measured smaller on the back than I ever imagined by a few places. But I love Victoria's Secret as I find their sizing always spit on. I'm definitely okay for now I think in my normal bras as they just feel normal comfy to me. I'm trying to stay as 'normal' as possible as once I start on non-wired bras I feel like I'm slowly losing pieces of me 😂

Jesskir89 · 25/08/2019 10:47

@ineedanotherholiday I've not notice any personally but I do get a lot of back pain normally tbh

ineedanotherholiday · 25/08/2019 10:52

@Jesskir89

Thanks, I did feel it in the night as turning but has eased off massively this morning.

I've worked myself up into a tizz today as my symptoms have been lessening the last few days. Nausea there but not as strong, sore boobs almost gone. I know symptoms fluctuate so am hopeful I just anxious as I had a mmc around this time (8 wk) last time although the baby hadn't grown past 5+5, this time we've seen a health bub & hb at 6+6 so fx!

Stupidly I took a preg test this morning, no idea why really just in a moment of panicking and the line is fainter than it has been so now I'm worrying my hcg is dropping. Heard this can fluctuate and level out though so I'm remaining positive just ugh, hate this stage!

Yvonne1988 · 25/08/2019 10:58

After a week of sleeping amazingly the insomnia is back -_- must have slept too much. I would kill someone to be able to take a nytol to help me fall asleep. Not so bad at weekend I can sleep in

barnyb · 25/08/2019 11:58

@Yvonne1988 I can't sleep either ! Yesterday I had two naps. I needed it so bad but I also was very sickly too. Was a nightmare! But in the night I'm up all night going to the loo. And if I don't get back to sleep in a certain time frame I start to feel sick. I woke up at 5am this morning and couldn't sleep. I tried to get back to sleep for two hours! And I finally drifted off. Then husband wakes me up 20 minutes later to ask me to move because he's uncomfortable 😵🤬🤬🤯😭😭 let's just say I was pretty p**sed off ! and I'm still in a massive grouch about it now 😅😤

DerbyshireGirly · 25/08/2019 12:07

@ineedanotherholiday could be wrong but I think HCG levels start falling as your placenta takes over
