I'm so excited to start this thread. Looks like I'll be due 1st April from my ovulation day (28th July by last period)!

I'm absolutely over the moon after a MC in May.
Bring on the April Babies!

Age 23
Baby #1 (pregnancy #2)
EDD 1st April

Congrats to all the newbies!

@nicoletia I'm wondering the same. If everything goes ok I'll be 8 1/2 weeks when we go on holiday and I was thinking about having an early scan at 8 weeks so that we can tell our family when we get home (we get back on the week of both our mums birthdays so would be lovely to tell them then!) but I am scared to have an early scan.. but then I'd be scared to wait 12 weeks with no scan, so basically I'll be scared whatever I do 😂

I'm still only 4 weeks so maybe if I get to 6 weeks ok then I'll book it in x

LittleRedSocks · 17/08/2019 17:47

@namechange244 and anyone else being tortured by the clear blue digis! Please see attached a table with the hcg thresholds for each category. So basically the ranges are broad enough for early pregnancy hcg levels. So while I’m not saying not to worry, this will hopefully help you worry a little less xx

@ellarosee @nicoletia I am in the exact same boat. I'm 6 weeks tomorrow and had a MMC in May. I was thinking of booking an early scan before I go away, but last time they dated me a week earlier than I thought I was. I think I ovulated late this time, so thinking I will be dated different to my calculations again.

If I go before and it's bad news I won't have any time to get treatment and I will be miserable all holiday, will potentially miscarry whilst I'm away.

So think I'm going to go the day after I come back when I'm 9 weeks, so if they date me at 8 then at least I will be further on than my original loss and will have relaxed on holiday. You can drive yourself mad with this, I did last time. X

nicoletia · 17/08/2019 18:00

@Pip231018 @ellarosee I've just spoken with the OH and he reckons it's better to go early so that I get appropriate medical attention if need be before we go away. We just have to stay positive. Everything will be alright xx

jessie0222 · 17/08/2019 18:13

Hi I new to this but my due date is the 14th April. My first pregnancy so nice to find this group so we can all support and ask questions. xx

Pegase · 17/08/2019 18:46

Joining very nervously. Due date is 23 April but have had two early miscarriages in the last twelve months so not feeling optimistic. Already have one DD who is 5 and I am 35.

Would like to join FB group @Sorbfsiabs even if only temporary Sad

Is anyone else around 4 weeks and already getting symptoms? I feel vaguely nauseous which is unusual as didn't get that till 7 weeks or so before and thought you didn't get it until after 6 weeks. Have sore boobs too.

lilyj13 · 17/08/2019 18:55

Feel awful covered in spots, tired, stressed stroppy, worried will effect my marriage, in my head I thought this time around I wouldn't have any symptoms, worried I'm going to get hyperemisis again, can't stay in as feel worse, people telling me I need to rest! 6 weeks today! But really I know I'm only about 4-5 weeks from conception! Does anyone feel like this. I want to curl up and just forget I'm pregnant

jessie0222 · 17/08/2019 19:04

I'm just over 5 weeks and felt nauseous already, I thought the side effects can start at anytime from what I have read. I'm just trying to relax and not get stressed but it is so hard x congratulations to you both

123456kent · 17/08/2019 19:14

Last time I felt mildly but constantly sick from 3 weeks + 1 (which is why I knew the negative test was wrong at 3weeks +6, and I was right). Then from about 6 weeks I felt much worse, until around 12-13.
So nausea can start very early!
I feel quesy at the moment, 4 weeks +1, but it’s bearable. I give it a 2/10 on the nausea scale.

HerSymphonyAndSong · 17/08/2019 19:23

I haven’t yet recovered from my son’s appalling sleep (which is now much improved as of a few weeks), so tiredness is my default state and I have no idea how much is pregnancy and how much is ingrained exhaustion. Nausea comes and goes, it’s been better these past couple of days

FirstPregnancy36yo · 17/08/2019 20:08

I've been getting a few cramps today, according to my predicted and last period I'm 6 weeks 5 days today and being my first I'm so scared. Got midwife on Wednesday. Keeping everything crossed and congratulations to everyone :)

Pip231018 · 17/08/2019 20:20

@FirstPregnancy36yo Congratulations! Do you have any other symptoms? X

Nikkinoodle84 · 17/08/2019 20:23

@MOGMOGMOG85 thank you, that's put my mind at rest a bit! No such thing as TMI when it comes to babies! It's always nice to here your not alone. I might give that a go, got drs monday so I was gonna ask if there was anything gentle I could take?

FirstPregnancy36yo · 17/08/2019 20:24

@Pip231018 sore boobs. Been feeling sick the last few days but think that might be from the shock mainly.

Pip231018 · 17/08/2019 20:39

@FirstPregnancy36yo I just have a little back pain and can't tell if I'm any more tired than normal. I had a nap today. I've also got a couple of spots which I never have. I feel sick and am lightheaded but can't tell if it's related. Good luck. X

Nikkinoodle84 · 17/08/2019 21:00

@Pip231018 iv been feeling light headed too. Iv tried drinking more today incase its BO related, so that will help. And if defiantely been more tired these last few days! I suppose our bodies are making alot of early changes to be ready?

Pip231018 · 17/08/2019 21:05

@Nikkinoodle84 I am sure it is. I had a MMC in May and my boobs were so heavy and sore. But this time, nothing. I've def felt more sick. I find it hard because I don't know what is 'normal'. Trying not to be a nervous wreck and just be relaxed/not look in to everything too much. X

FirstPregnancy36yo · 17/08/2019 21:05

@Pip231018 good luck to you too. I've just finished a 12 days in a row at work and don't know if I'm tired from that or the pregnancy :)

MooMummy12 · 17/08/2019 21:09

Hey! Anyone got any tips to help with sore nipples. I'm in agony 😭 can't even wear my seatbelt without them hurting! Sorry if tmi!

Nikkinoodle84 · 17/08/2019 21:12

@Pip231018 try not to read too much into it, I'm gonna guess no 2 pregnancies are the same.
Guess we should just be trying to enjoy the ride ladies?

MOGMOGMOG85 · 17/08/2019 22:21

@Pip231018 def a good idea to wait until after holiday, hopefully that way you will just be able to relax and forget about it a bit and then have the scan when you come back.

@Pegase try to stay positive, although it must be hard! Lots of luck for a sticky on this time!

@Nikkinoodle84 DO NOT try that recipe - I ate it for dinner but all it did was make me extremely gassy and now I'm uncomfortable and can't sleep... I guess gentle is a much better plan! I didn't realise until googling it now but apparently gas can be a big problem too also caused by the hormones :-o

ExcitedJellyBean · 17/08/2019 23:22

Hi all, I am excited but slightly tentative in joining this group as I had my first BFP last week and my due date is around 12April depending on what I check.

I feel like I have gone through such a rollercoaster of emotions already from wanting to shout it from the rooftops to worrying about every slight twinge and change in symptoms (of which I've had none really).

Glad to be able to talk to likeminded people!

biggreensmoothie · 18/08/2019 03:26

Hi ladies!

Congrats to you all!!!

Tentatively joining you all as had a BFP this week, will be 6 weeks tomorrow with an EDD of 12/4.

I am a little older (42) and DD has just turned 6, so I didn't really expect it to happen again!

Have had sore boobs and some cramping so far but feeling a lot less of this today - trying to stop myself obsessively symptom checking but finding it tough. Worst thing though is insomnia- I have been waking at 2:30/3:00am every night and struggling to get back to sleep.

We are currently living in the US and had planned to move back home to the UK in May 2020 but this has thrown our plans a bit up in the air!!

TBH, it doesn't feel real right now, so glad to have found this group!

Pip231018 · 18/08/2019 07:06

@ExcitedJellyBean @biggreensmoothie Congratulations! We all have the same EDD. I have just turned 6 weeks today. I also don't have many symptoms which is making me worry. According to google it's not that uncommon.

Congratulations both of you. X

Lauralizzie · 18/08/2019 08:22

Hi I’m laura, 35 years old. I have a 9 year old girl and 2 year old boy. And I’m due 2nd April (I think) I had a chemical pregnancy on my last cycle, so don’t know how to work out my due date for sure. I’m currently counting from the day I had most bleeding and pain. Anyone know the correct way to work out my due date after a chemical?

Nice to meet you all xxx
