I'm so excited to start this thread. Looks like I'll be due 1st April from my ovulation day (28th July by last period)!

I'm absolutely over the moon after a MC in May.
Bring on the April Babies!

Jessikka · 10/08/2019 21:43

Hi! I'm 3+5 give or take a day. I didnt OPK or temp or research or do anything this month! AF has varied too over the months so if I go by an average I believe it will hit 4 weeks on monday!
Very surprised and very happy!

Jessikka · 10/08/2019 21:44

Sorry I thought I'd tagged @nicoletia I have a new phone and it's not showing up lol

Makingawish · 10/08/2019 21:45

@Jessikka I think I'm only a day behind you! 😬😃 What's your EDD?

mummy0207 · 10/08/2019 21:47

@Sorbfsiabs I've sent a friends request for Facebook group xx

yoy114 · 10/08/2019 21:49

Is anyone really struggling not having anyone to talk to? I'm 5+3 now I think and my symptoms are breast soreness, nausea (this is really bad I had to throw away a cucumber because the smell when I opened the fridge was making me heave) cramping, exhaustion .... It's really hard for me not to tell anyone. I've told my boyfriend and my mum but I have moved away from my friends and family and my mum is away on holiday at the moment so cannot speak to her much.
Im quite relaxed about the pregnancy but seeing people write about miscarriage etc makes me worry so find it hard to talk in this forum !!!! Don't know what to do???

Jessikka · 10/08/2019 21:55

@makingawish yay! 20th April. Though another app says 18th.

Jessem29 · 10/08/2019 21:58

Hi! So excited to find this. We had our BFP today after a miscarriage in may! Hoping this one is a healthy one. Excited to hear about everyone else.

Age 27
First baby (pregnancy number 2)

rach1213 · 10/08/2019 22:17

Please can I join. An older mum here , nervous of MC risk. About 85% at my age (nearly 46!!)

My EDD is 14/4.
I've had two previous miscarriages at 8 weeks; but have 6 gorgeous kids aged 11 months - 11 years!! So I can't complain. Just still nervous though.

nicoletia · 10/08/2019 22:25

@Jessikka I only came off my pill on 20/06 so have been really lucky to get my bfp in the first proper cycle.

@yoy114 just stay positive x

@Jessem29 @rach1213 Congratulations 👶🏼

J43mum · 10/08/2019 23:18

@rach1213 hi I'm an older mum too, I'm 43, I have a 14.and 11 year old!
Let's hope we can keep this shit together, not sure if it's worse with this age gap lol

spottygymbag · 11/08/2019 05:23

@yoy114 yes I'm dying to tell a few people but feels bit conflicted because it's still so early and we've recently moved to a new country. DH's parents are arriving this weekend for his birthday so we might tell them then but ask them to keep it quiet. It will be obvious as we'll be out celebrating and I'm known for loving a glass of wine! Sister in law is due with her second any day so think it's nice for her to have the focus and after the 12 week scan she should be well settled with bub and all the announcements/excitement will have settled too. (Not that I think she would mind, it's just nice to have that moment where the family is all excited about the new baby).
We'll probably tell my mum next weekend too by video and maybe my bestie but that would be it for now. They're the ones we would turn to if anything went wrong.

Carysmatic · 11/08/2019 11:53

So maybe I'm being overly cautious but I haven't wanted to DTD with DH since I found out I was pregnant. I know that's silly and it can't hurt this early on but I'm so worried about miscarrying that I just don't want to let him near me. Am I being silly or does anyone else feel this way? I mean he's very understanding but it's a bit out of character for me, but I just rather be safe than sorry. Is that stupid?

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 11/08/2019 11:59

@Carysmatic we’re the same. In fact it’s been quite a while. I’ve spoken with H about it and he seems fine so just going to go with it. Not missing it though so I guess it’s ok

Wilson1990 · 11/08/2019 12:49

Could anyone let me know if they are experiencing cramps? And if so, what they feel like for you/where you feel them?
Also reading a lot about people’s symptoms so far, eg morning sickness, sore boobs etc. I have literally none and I am 4 + 5 since day of last period. Probably a bit OTT with the worrying but looking for some piece of mind. X
(I have had a misscaraige before and I was extremely sick from around 6 weeks if I remember rightly, however I’m pretty sure my boobs had changed dramatically when I noticed the sickness!)

Carysmatic · 11/08/2019 12:59

@Wilson1990 as far as I can tell cramping is normal in early pregnancy. I had some but they seam to have eased off now. Like period cramps but intermittent. I've head on lots of different sites they camping is normal and I think a lot of people on here have said they have had some too. Remember every pregnancy is different and what you experienced with your mc may be completely different this time round.

yoy114 · 11/08/2019 13:01

Yes I have @wilson1990 I keep expecting to get my period because that is how it feels

Madaleinerw · 11/08/2019 18:27

Hello all! Congratulations on your positives Smile.

I am due around 4th (on my calculations) so will be 6+2 today.

Feeling excited but super nervous as I had a mmc 2 years ago and so scared it'll happen again.

I'm really struggling with fatigue and nausea which kicked in at 4+4 which I feel is very early and can barely get of the sofa which is not so great with work but what can you do hey! My boobs are also insanely sore and have been since before I missed my period and I've had a headache the last few days. That said, I'm grateful for the symptoms because I know I'd be worrying even more if I didn't have any!

With all of that said, I'm so so happy to be pregnant and I'm trying to enjoy every minute Grin

If anyone has any good remedies for nausea I'd be forever grateful!

J43mum · 11/08/2019 19:22

How do you work out the weeks and days that you are , can Somone work it out for me please as I think I'm being thick !!!!
First day of last period was 29 June. 24 day cycle
Says in due 1 st April !
Thanks in advance

mumof1hants · 11/08/2019 19:39

@J43mum you just count from the 1st day of your last period so you're 6+1 xx

mumof1hants · 11/08/2019 19:40

Welcome to those who have joined and congrats!

@Madaleinerw Ginger biscuits are good for nausea but they need to contain real stem ginger not just ginger flavouring. Lots of people make that mistake! X

J43mum · 11/08/2019 19:44

@mumof1hants ahhh thanks x
