I'm so excited to start this thread. Looks like I'll be due 1st April from my ovulation day (28th July by last period)!

I'm absolutely over the moon after a MC in May.
Bring on the April Babies!

Age 23

Yes I'm sure the scan will be a weight off, I'm eager for mine and I've never had a loss. So glad you're getting good support. Flowers

ReeReeR · 06/08/2019 10:51

@MindyStClaire I think it is natural to be anxious anyway in the early stages. I was anxious in my first pregnancy and I didn’t really have reason to be. Fingers crossed for us 🤞

newgirl89 · 06/08/2019 10:53

@MrsG3 you add approx 2 weeks onto the clear blue digital. It's worked out from the first day of your last period. Mine was the 1st of July so I'm 5+1 x

CodlingMoth · 06/08/2019 13:19

@ReeReeR good to see you Grin it's mildly less neurotic over here 😉

Carysmatic · 06/08/2019 14:02

Anyone suffering with morning sickness yet? 🤢 I feel so nauseous that I can't even move. Every time I move I feel like I'm going to be sick, felt nauseous for the last week but today is a whole other level of nausea/bloating. Not even 5 weeks and feel this way. Anyone else? X

mommybear1 · 06/08/2019 14:27

Waves of sickness @Carysmatic at the moment and the bloating ShockI seem fine first thing and then slowly inflate during the day 😂

mommybear1 · 06/08/2019 14:28

*inflate with the bloating I should have said!!

Noodlesxxx · 06/08/2019 14:31

Hey @carysmatic ... not sick as yet...im 4+5 and im suffering severe anxiety...ive had horrible sickness with my other 3 and its rotten...dreading when it hits...is this your 1st??

Bramble1983 · 06/08/2019 14:33

@Whatelsecouldibecalled yes this would be our first- it’s actually our 2nd IVF as our first fresh cycle ended in a MC at 10wks back in April.

Feeling okay- but nauseous by mainly in the afternoons / evenings and only after food, which is quite manageable.

Had a bit of a scare yesterday and had a big gush of red / brown blood when I went to the toilet, so had a big panic 😩

Took myself off to EPU and they did a scan- at 5+1 I wasn’t really expecting to see anything but they saw a gestational sac, yolk sac and tiny little embryo, although too early for a heartbeat.

Nurse said she couldn’t see any reason for the bleed and there was no bleeding near the baby. Her exact words were ‘thats exactly what I would want to see if that was my scan. Stay positive’.

My ‘normal’ 7 week scan is on the 20th august but she asked if i’d like another one before then, so they’re giving me another one next friday, when i’ll be 6+5

Carysmatic · 06/08/2019 14:38

@Noodlesxxx yeah it's my first, so really don't know what to expect. I feel better now but earlier I felt so bloated and sicky. I hope it doesn't get any worse.

@mommybear1 the bloat is unreal my stomach felt so hard and tender earlier, thankfully gone down a little now.

ReeReeR · 06/08/2019 14:59

Hi @CodlingMoth 😬 I’m a bit neurotic today though 🙈

I’ve had a bit of a scare today as I had some spotting earlier on wiping when I went to the loo. Midwife called EPU for me but and they said they cannot scan me or anything until 6 weeks, even to check not ectopic (as I have pain on one side), which I thought odd but just hoping everything is ok. I know people have cramping and spotting early on...

Glad everything seems ok @Bramble1983

Islandermum · 06/08/2019 15:44

@Carysmatic yes I'm 6+5 today and struggling now. Quite sick most of the day, mainly dry heaving and not full on vomitting yet though. All I've eaten today is bread!
@ReeReR that's so odd, I was scanned at 5+4 due to ectopic concerns. How many weeks are you?

@BumblieBee & @MindyStClaire thank u for the reassurance about symptoms. Mine are definitely much less than with dc1. Im not complaining about the lack of nausea especially when I hear some people's stories on here.

@MrsG3 are u sure ur only 4 weeks then? Because ur supposed to add 2 weeks on to the cb digital result! That would make you 5wks at the least! Did u track o? Could be twins!!

@ReeReeR So so sorry to hear about your daughter. That's absolutely heartbreaking. Wishing you all the luck in the world this time around. I can imagine it's so nerve wracking. It's bad enough without a loss. good they are giving you lots of extra scans.

@Bramble1983 Gosh that sounds scary. Glad everything is ok though.

MrsG3 · 06/08/2019 18:26

@mumof1hants well cd1 was 9th July and I had static smiley face on opk 19th July...not going to lie, I'm panicking a bit!

Hi to all the newbies and congratulations on your bfps 💕

Bramble1983 · 06/08/2019 19:11

@ReeReeR that’s rubbish- my scan yesterday was at 5+1 and they could see plenty. Can you not just self refer / walk in to the EPU?

mrsrob90 · 06/08/2019 20:03

Hello ladies! Got my bfp yesterday and so excited but nervous to be joining another due in group! I am almost 29 with an almost 2 year old ( we both are September birthday 6 days apart🤣) It is all still very early with me my period is due Friday so tbh feeling abit nervy about that 😑
with my daughter's pregnancy I was part of a Facebook group which was and still is amazing. The support is incredible and was key part of my last experience, I have met a girl off it and I still am in touch daily with some of the girls! Would love to be added if someone could pm me! 😍❤

Congratulations everyone on your pregnancies :) xx

If anyone would like an add to the Facebook group, please send me a PM with a link to your Facebook profile. Ill then request you as a friend, and then add you to the group x

newgirl89 · 07/08/2019 06:33

@MrsG3 with those dates it makes you 4+1 today. 🙂

Welcome to the group newbies! Congratulations on your BFPs. Hope you are all feeling ok.

Don't know about you all. But I find it so nerve wracking that all you have to go on until a scan (whenever that is!) is a stick you wee on (or 10!) x

ReeReeR · 07/08/2019 06:59

@mumof1hants Thank you

@Bramble1983 @Islandermum
I would be 4+4 today. I could perhaps just go to EPU but I have filled a pantyliner overnight so thinking the worst now tbh.

mumof1hants · 07/08/2019 07:32

Oh no @ReeReeR hope you're ok. Sending lots of love. Lots of people do get this (my sister bled in all 3 of her pregnancies) so there is some hope xx

Wilson1990 · 07/08/2019 07:35

Hello all!

I just got my BFP yesterday and I am approximately 4+1! Very shocked but equally as excited.
This is my first, I am so new to this and feel clueless! I don’t want to tell family and friends just yet, so have no one to ask... what do I do now? Haha! Do I call the doctors?

HattieRabbit · 07/08/2019 07:47

Hi ladies

Firstly CONGRATULATIONS to everyone!!!
I’m 6 weeks and due (provisionally) 2-5/ April!

@Carysmatic - The sickness is real!! For me it’s mainly nausea with only occasional vomiting but it wakes me up in the night and I’ve lost a good .5 of a stone 😂

This is totally gross - but is anyone else struggling with excessive/trapped gas?
I’m pumping constantly and I mean ALL the time! Luckily DH just thinks it’s funny and makes little comments about how baby has a sense of humour 😂 but when I go back to work (currently signed off for the nausea) I have no idea how I’ll control the relentless gas. It really hurts to try and hold it in x

MindyStClaire · 07/08/2019 07:47

Fingers crossed ReeReeR. I have a few friends who bled on and off all the way through and all was fine. Not good for the nerves though. Flowers

Congratulations Wilson1990! It depends on your area, I had to see my GP to get referred to the midwives but I think in most of the UK you can self refer. If you can't figure it out online give your GP receptionist a call, they'll know.

I'm still not feeling pregnant, niggling pains seem to have stopped completely. Did a first response this morning though and the test line was much much darker than the control line, so trying to just take it on faith that all is as it should be. 3.5 weeks to my scan.

MrsG3 · 07/08/2019 08:03

@ReeReeR I second @mumof1hants that I've heard of people having bleeds early on and everything has gone on to be fine so there's definitely hope. Think it's worth another phone call to GP/EPU to try and push for a scan. Sending lots of love and hugs and hope everything calms down soon, make sure you're resting and not doing too much.
