I'm so excited to start this thread. Looks like I'll be due 1st April from my ovulation day (28th July by last period)!

I'm absolutely over the moon after a MC in May.
Bring on the April Babies!

@Whatelsecouldibecalled we’re IVF too and super close on dates- I had a 5 day frozen transfer on Friday 19th July. I’m petrified it’s going to go wrong too!!!

Have you got a 7 week scan?

MindyStClaire · 05/08/2019 13:28

Congratulations to the newbies, especially those of you who've had IVF or a tough time for other reasons. I hope you have the easiest, healthiest of pregnancies. Flowers

I'd also love to join the FB group, but will wait til I've had a scan. The one for DD is brilliant.

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 05/08/2019 14:17

Hey @Bramble1983 nice to find someone pretty much in same position as me! How are u feeling? Yes I have 7 week scan on 19 August. What about you? Is it your first time?

Carysmatic · 05/08/2019 17:11

Hey mind if I tentatively jump in? I got my BFP yesterday after a chemical last month. It defiantly feels different this month some how and my BFP was a dark line as dark as control line, unlike last month where is was very faint so I am taking that positively! Obviously feeling very cautious but happy. Would love to join your thread

Do you know what vitamins we should be taking apart from folic acid

Bookworm83 · 05/08/2019 17:28

Hey @J43mum , The Healthy Start vitamins my midwife gave me contain folic acid, vitamin C and D. She said that's everything I need, unless blood tests show iron deficiency.

KevinMcCabe · 05/08/2019 17:33

Cong. We are expecting March 2020 but we still joined this thread.

J43mum · 05/08/2019 17:56

I'm worried... I'm 5+4 and all my symptoms have disappeared. I only really had sore boobs for a few days when AF should have been due but now they're fine. With my first I felt lightheaded all the time. Anyone else in the same boat? X

@mumof1hants my symptoms definitely come in waves, some days I'm ok, others I feel awful. Mostly I find I feel pretty queasy when I wake up and fine but tired by the afternoon currently. I had a MC before my DS and my symptoms kept going all through the MC so they're not a definite sign that all is fine (not trying to worry anyone else with that, sorry) I'm trying to just accept that what will be will be and find some distractions (so^^ much easier said than done 😬)

BumblieBee · 06/08/2019 08:13

Oh and with my first my boobs were agony, this time they've had a little bit of soreness but not really even very noticeable. I also think my cramping pains are less strong this time. All pregnancies are different so I'm just hoping it's down to that (and maybe it's a different gender this time 🤔🤞 I'd love one of each)

MrsG3 · 06/08/2019 08:20

@mumof1hants I'm only 4w today but feeling the same with symptoms coming and going. Just did CB digital to check and it's come up as pregnant 3+ weeks. Is that right? How can I be 3+ weeks when I only ovulated 2 weeks ago 😳 starting to panic either my dates are wrong or there's two in there 🤣

Sorry for multiple posts, not sure what happened there 🤦🏻‍♀️

ReeReeR · 06/08/2019 08:44

Hi ladies I wonder if I may join you. I have been reading this past week since I got a positive on a FRER last Tuesday but was too anxious to post. Congratulations to you all!

I’m 35 and 4+3 with #2

My first baby was stillborn early this year. She died at 39+6 and I was induced a couple of days later.

I am now a bit anxious, obviously, not so much about the same thing happening again (not yet anyway) but more about getting through the early stages where the risk is relatively high.

I have had a lot of symptoms but they seem to come and go and I’m experiencing cramping and some twinges in my left hand side. Midwife said not to worry unless severe or constant or bleeding / spotting so keeping an eye on it as I’ve noticed it over the past few days but it is quite mild and not sure if I’m overthinking everything. I have read on here ( and elsewhere through anxious googling) that some of you have had cramping too.

Carysmatic · 06/08/2019 09:42

@ReeReeR sorry for your loss. But congratulations on your BFP, must have been a difficult decision to TTC again. Fingers crossed all goes to plan for you. I've been experiencing quite a bit of cramping, I've looked on google and it says this can be normal. Though it still makes me a little anxious after similar symptoms last month with my chemical pregnancy. Feeling more positive this month though and I've seen quite a few people say they experiencing cramping at this stage, my best friend who's a month ahead of me says she had cramping around this time but has gone now at 8 weeks. Easier said that done but try not to worry as that won't be good for you or baby. Good luck and looking forward to going through this journey with you xxx

ReeReeR · 06/08/2019 10:13

Thank you @Carysmatic I have read that it's normal but it's difficult not to worry isn't xx

MindyStClaire · 06/08/2019 10:29

ReeReeR I'm so sorry for the loss of your little girl. Flowers Of course you're feeling anxious. Will you get any extra appointments to keep an eye on things and give you a bit of reassurance?

mumof1hants I've had the same, I didn't feel pregnant in the slightest yesterday, even though I expected to be feeling miserable after being up in the night with DD. Today I'm very tired despite a good night's sleep, but no nausea, pains etc. Feeling a little anxious, but whatever will be will be, we've been remarkably lucky to this point so just trying to be positive. Looking forward to my scan though...

MindyStClaire · 06/08/2019 10:30

Oh, and I definitely had plenty of cramping in the early days with DD, which was the easiest, healthiest pregnancy going. I don't think it's anything to worry about, just everything stretching and making room.

ReeReeR · 06/08/2019 10:43

Thank you @MindyStClaire It is reassuring to know you have had cramping too and days where you don’t have as many obvious symptoms.

Yes I would be under consultant care this time and they said they would scan me at 8 weeks and also every couple of weeks from about 20 weeks. I think they’d be quite flexible given what happened last time, which was a cord accident. As sad and unfortunate as it was, the positive is that they did not find anything to suggest this would happen again. I have a booking appointment next week with my bereavement midwife, who is lovely, and I can call her if I need to. I think I would feel slightly less anxious if we make it to 8 weeks and have a positive scan.
