BFP - Anyone else due February 2020?

Hello ladies,

Early days, due my period today and had a BFP since DPO11. It is progressing and my period hasn't arrived so I'm hoping this is a sticky baby! Anyone else recently this week got their BFP? Be nice to have a little group going x

Thank you so much lovely ladies for your constant reassurance and being a shoulder to lean on through what has been the most anxious couple of weeks of my life!

I couldn’t stop thanking the sonographer and she was like it’s so lovely to see someone so happy!

I’d convinced myself that it was going to be bad news so I cried so much when she turned the screen around and I saw my beautiful jellybean with a tiny beating heart!

She dated me at 6 weeks but said it’s very hit and miss as everything is so tiny!

This thread has been a godsend and I pray we all have a happy and healthy 9 months!

Well ladies, call me crazy but I just took delivery of my pram today! Managed to find it on sale and OH said to go for it so I wasn't going to say no!

We have the Egg Stroller in Regal Navy. I have been lusting after it for a couple of years and I am absolutely in love with it. Receiving it has made me so excited to meet my little one (a long way to go yet!) which is miles apart from the initial shock of the first positive test!

I feel so so nauseous today, barely eaten, and so tired I could have a little nap at my desk! 5+0 today, bought some pregnacare, it feels very real!

Also, decaf tea is the WORST!

Alarae - I just googled your pushchair it looks lovely. What a great idea especially as you managed to get it on sale!

@jellybaby666 I’m with you on the nausea, I thought it was just nerves for me but nope it’s not going anywhere! Decaf tea is an experience 🤢

Need to get registered with the midwife and let my haematologist know i’m Pregnant as I’ll have to go back on the blood thinners, fun times!

@Alarae - I like it. And sure who can't turn down a bargain especially because prams are so expensive.

I can't wait to go shopping for things like prams, cot etc. We probably won't get too much before the baby comes, just essentials, as we are building a house and it may not be finished before the baby arrives! A new car is first on the list anyway!

Oddly enough my sister has the Oyster 2 which she purchased for my niece born in February this year. It is made by the same company who manufacture the Egg.

Both of us had a push of hers before jumping into buying this so we knew it would be a good pram for us. Slightly optimistic that we never had played with this particular pram (or any others for that matter) but thankfully it is perfect.

Now I have to try and get it all back in the box and wait for 8 months until I can use it

It's a really gorgeous pram @Alarae - I was having a sneaky push of my SIL's over the weekend (a mama & papa's one) thinking about which one I would like! Where did you get it on sale, out of interest?

@InOmniaParatus13 I'm trying hard not to complain about the nausea as I'm taking it as a good sign, but bloody hell. Only managed a banana this morning, ginger tea did nothing, and my decaf tea was just unpleasant :( Off to the gym tonight, I really don't want to go but I've paid for a personal trainer about 2 months ago, and she'll charge me if I don't go!

Whilst we're taking about nausea ... mines the opposite, if I'm not eating I get it.
I am eating non stop, I've already put on 2.5kg in the past couple of weeks from just food!

I'm really trying to be sensible as I'm not a 'eating for two' kinda person but geez, I literally am hungry all the time. If an hour goes past and I've not eaten I've got the biggest gurgley tummy then feel sicky

I'm going to look like I'm full term by half way through 🤣

@JellyBaby666 I ordered it from Baby Planet Online. I was worried initially as after I ordered I saw there was a lot of bad reviews about this retailer, but I've had no issues at all.

It wasn't the largest discount, but I've never seen the Navy discounted. They have the Serpent and Pink variations on sale on other websites but my heart was set on Navy.

It came with a car seat, base and the carrycot as well so being able to order the whole package was just a plus.

@JellyBaby666 I’m in awe that you’re going to the gym, I’m too tired and achy for that! Bless you, nausea is awful! I had some when I was food shopping earlier, dreading my commute tomorrow but I’ll deal with it!

Lovely to see the recent good news today, so happy for those whose had their scans and heard the tiny heartbeats ❤️.. I'm in an awful state this evening.. 0830 tomorrow morning I've my early pregnancy scan. However I'm convinced all my symptoms are going down and I'm so scared. I won't be sleeping tonight. Last few days I've stopped vomiting, and just feel differnt. Please all be in my head 🤞🏼. Going by dates of last period I should be 8 weeks however I'm pretty sure I'm around 6.5 weeks as I was very irregular..

Hello all, I'm jumping aboard the February boat. My first time and I feel so comforted and reassured as I relate to so many of the symptoms and anxieties that you've all shared. I think my due date is 12th Feb but my early scan booked for tomorrow should confirm.

Good luck to all those with scans coming up. I’d totally convinced myself that all my symptoms had disappeared just before mine too. They are back with a vengeance now though .

I also have that sick feeling if I go too long without eating! So odd! I used to get it when I was on the mini pill as well.

I’m glad others are getting things in preparation for baby...We got a new car yesterday! I was quite sad to see my little Astra go :( I feel like we are proper grown ups now with a big car that I can barely park haha.

@InOmniaParatus13 I don’t feel any worse is all I can offer, Ive been training with her for about 6 weeks and have seen/felt such a difference mentally and physically, and she’s a good friend as well. And she wouldn’t let me cancel without good reason 😂 I’ve been quite lazy and haven’t swam/run as I have been up till last week I feel so sick and so tired 🤢😴

I’m 5 weeks today, I bought 3 months of pregnacare this morning - hard not to feel like I’m tempting fate. Anyone else?

I haven’t really got any symptoms it’s making me really nervous ! I’m 5+1 today . I am constantly tired anyway due to my 2 and 4 yr old being early risers so no difference there . Slightly more hungry mid morning , sore boobs and that’s it ! I felt sick as a dog last pregnancy but can’t remember when it started , first one I was fine . Praying I get away without the sickness this time . But sickness is also very reassuring ahhhhh! Dh doesn’t want me to get a private scan but if it carries on like this I’m going to have to!

Currently on my commute, 2 trains and a bus, so far so good, haven’t thrown up yet 😂 there’s a woman painting her nails and my god the polish smell is giving me a headache! I can’t even wear perfume anymore as it gives me a banging headache! I have no appetite today, Forced a yogurt down before I left, and I’m so tired despite having 8 hours sleep!

@hazandduck thank you so much 💕 the nausea is great fun isn’t it! The sonographer who did my scan said she thinks nausea is worse as it can last all day instead of throwing up and getting it over with! That’s great news on your new car, you’re all grown up now haha 😂

@JellyBaby666 that’s fantastic that you’re feeling so great about working out! Wouldn’t let you cancel without good reason 😂 that’s brilliant haha. I’m still in awe how you have the energy to go to the gym! I walk 3 miles a day and that’s enough exercise for me 😂 I know what you mean with the pregnacare, I just stocked up on mine too!

I’ve emailed the private early scan place to see when they can fit me in for a couple weeks time, it’s only £40 and you get pictures. I didn’t get a picture of jellybean yesterday so I thought I would stick with my plan and get a private one too! It will be interesting to see how much jellybean has changed over the next couple of weeks.
