Hello ladies,

Early days, due my period today and had a BFP since DPO11. It is progressing and my period hasn't arrived so I'm hoping this is a sticky baby! Anyone else recently this week got their BFP? Be nice to have a little group going x

@gizmosslave Mine's at 10, let me know how it goes

@ImMeantToBeWorking Oh right, I'd love to visit Ireland, it's on my list of places to go. I had no idea how it works in Ireland but when I did a very quick google it said "some hospitals may offer a dating scan" so maybe your hospital doesn't offer them? That's a shame, could you pay to go private? How far along are you? Hopefully you will get your booking in appointment soon

InOmniaParatus13 · 19/06/2019 08:40

@SuzieQ10 I’m with you on not being able to stop weeing, it’s ridiculous 😂

Nausea is once again kicking my butt and my appetite is non existent haha. There was a woman on the train platform eating a banana and I swear I could smell it from miles away, isn’t it strange what pregnancy does to our senses!

InOmniaParatus13 · 19/06/2019 09:09

I’m spotting again so looks like it’s game over for me :(

InOmniaParatus13 · 19/06/2019 10:55

Spotting has stopped again now, I have absolutely no idea what’s going on 🤷🏻‍♀️Hopefully I’ll get some answers Monday but I’m not hopeful that it will be a good outcome!

Bettythecat · 19/06/2019 11:08

@InOmniaParatus13 I wouldn't worry too much about spotting- I think it's very normal. A friend of mine spotted all the way through up to around 20 weeks. Don't lose hope. Xx

LuciBee · 19/06/2019 11:59

Oh my god @SuzieQ10 & @InOmniaParatus13 I'm the same today and only 4+4!! literally been about 6 times this morning!

@InOmniaParatus13 I remember having spotting for a good few weeks at the beginning of my first pregnancy, so I think it can be pretty normal. Just try and take it easy.

ImMeantToBeWorking · 19/06/2019 12:10

Charm23 I am not sure about my hospital, and I don't even know who to ring. Might talk to my auntie at the weekend, she was a nurse and still would keep in touch with a lot of doctors so she might have some clue.

I am peeing a lot too!! I am drinking a bit more water than normal but I am getting out of bed at stupid o'clock to pee which is not like me at all!!

And I seriously cannot stop eating!! Help!!

Allhallowseve · 19/06/2019 12:18

Thanks all for your advice re cb didgital tests.
Iv never used them for my two other pregnancies iv just seen a line get darker .
Now it’s got me paranoid. I will order another one and hopefully the weeks will have gone up and I will leave it there .
I will still continue to worry tho until the 12 week scan and then forever more Confused. The worrying doesn’t stop when they are here unfortunately.

Charm23 · 19/06/2019 12:47

I had an early scan this morning and saw what resembled a little 13mm prawn! haha! Got to see the little heart beat too so we're very pleased as it was around this time that I lost my last pregnancy. I was paranoid they would put my date back but actually brought it forward by a day so I'm measuring 7 weeks and 5 days which technically puts my EDD at 31st Jan! but I won't worry about dates too much until my dating scan.
Now for the not so good news... the sonographer said "what I thought was your bladder is actually a large cyst on your right ovary"... it's measuring 86mm x 71mm! I asked "is it something to be concerned about?" and all she said was "I'll let you talk to the doctor about it" which sounded a bit ominous... so after waiting for her to write her report she brought us back to EPAU and on the way I foolishly started googling about cysts and was reading about torsion leading to ovaries blood supply being cut off, horrible pain from rupturing and that if they're over 5cm they'd need to operate. So me being me I start imagining surgery and incisions... did I mention I am very squeamish? Yeah, I nearly fainted! Got clammy, sick and dizzy and felt like a right numpty! Felt better after a few minutes though and went out for brunch with DH. The doctor said they will keep an eye on the cyst, it may go away on it's own and they'll check on it at my next scan between 12-14 weeks. So I'm just taking it easy and surprisingly not too worried, just keeping an eye out for pain and need to go straight to A&E if I get any. Apparently cysts are common and are caused by the hormones. Attached a pic of little prawn :3

ImMeantToBeWorking · 19/06/2019 15:10

@Charm23 ah I am so happy for you. It really just hit home for me that I have a bean growing inside me!! I can't wait to get a scan done now!! Ah the excitment!

Hopefully the cyst is nothing to serious, if they were really worried about it I am sure they would have done something about it straight away!! (Or I just watch too many doctors shows where they would do something straight away) I hope all keeps going well for you!! GrinGrinGrin

Charm23 · 19/06/2019 16:20

@ImMeantToBeWorking Aww thanks, yeah it's hit home for me too. It's easy to be in denial when you get your BFP! I was so nervous before I went in but now that I've seen the little heartbeat flickering I'm getting excited and just hoping for the best. I hope you figure out whats going on with your appointments/scans so you have something to look forward to!

I think the sonographer made it sound worse than it is perhaps by not giving me any further info. But the two nurses who I spoke to said it's nothing to worry about, quite common and just something they'll keep an eye on. Just can't help but think how big it is - hopefully it'll shrink and that'll be that!

muddypuddlejumping · 19/06/2019 19:20

Hi all sorry I've been so quiet ... it's the insane tiredness!! I've been catching up though in between work, naps and my DD.

@InOmniaParatus13 I spotted most of the way through my first trimester with my first. Sometimes even clots and she was absolutely fine. Totally understand the worry though.

@ImMeantToBeWorking I'm peeing ALL THE TIME! It's really ramped up this week (I'm 7 weeks) and really disrupting my sleep now 😴

@Charm23 I'm so glad your scan was positive and at least they are keeping a close eye on the cyst.

gizmosslave · 19/06/2019 19:34

My scan was also fine, 6 weeks today when should be 6+3 but I’m not too worried, especially by 3 days and it might change at dating scan. That makes me be due 12th Feb.

Little heart beat too!

Lovemartina2012 · 19/06/2019 19:38

Had a scan today as was getting sharp pain everything was perfect never felt so happy and a little heartbeat 💗 so been discharged from epu now bk to midwife for everything else feeling so positive dated me at 6 weeks 3 days same dates I had from beginning Smile down side tired and sick and heartburn Envy

InOmniaParatus13 · 19/06/2019 19:53

Thank you all for your kind words, it would take me forever to reply to you individually and I’m knackered from work haha.

Congratulations to all those that have had early scans and have had good news ☺️

Spotting again at the moment, Drs think it could be implantation bleeding, they aren’t worried at all unless it gets heavier. I’m not hopeful at all but it’s lovely reading positive stories from those who have been through it and everything was fine :) I have my scan Monday so what will be will be!

Have a lovely evening all xx

hazandduck · 19/06/2019 20:59

Hope you’re ok @InOmniaParatus13

I’m feeling quite nauseous and shattered tonight. DH has made me dinner, given it to me on my lap (normally religious sit at the tablers) made me squash and a cup of tea, and just put DD to bed.

I don’t remember feeling this queasy at any point with DD. It’s so hard with her clambering over me it makes me feel so much worse. Just hoping this is a positive sign.

6+3 now, we are going to look at private scans tonight for in a couple of weeks :)

hazandduck · 19/06/2019 21:02

Ps congrats on all the lovely scans. I am currently on both Feb boards and struggling to keep up 🙈 Lovely to read about all the heartbeats seen ❤️

ballsdeep · 19/06/2019 21:29

@charm I had a cyst in last pregnancy and it was huge. I was worrying like mad but when I pushed my baby out the cyst came out too. Lovely. Ha ha
I went to have a scan a few months after and all was OK

Alarae · 19/06/2019 21:42

Literally had this surprise yesterday! Based on my estimate my EDD should be 22 Feb.

Been a whirlwind as FF got my ovulation date completely wrong and only tested on a whim with a SD cheapie (thinking it was 7DPO).

This was my first cycle and first pregnancy so I've been googling everything!

Hopex92 · 19/06/2019 22:10

Hi all. Has anyone had any days where they just don't feel pregnant. I'm having a weird day like that.. Not sure why because I did have nausea at 6am, uncontrollable hunger until lunch time and tiredness. But don't feel the same as I have been.. Its so odd. I'm not going to read into it as itl stress me out more. Just wondering if anyone else has days where they just feel less pregnant I guess? Sorry I'm being a melt haha. Early scan on Tuesday think the nerves are kicking in!

JellyBaby666 · 19/06/2019 22:34

Hello all! Please can I join in?

I had a big shock on Monday with my lovely positive test, and confirmed with clear blue digital saying ‘pregnant’ I can’t believe it! I tested with a CB digital on the Saturday morning but it was negative, but tested again just to be sure as I felt different, and wow!

I have felt so nauseous all day since Sunday/Monday, I haven’t been sick but my god I feel rough 😂

Congrats to you all too ❤️ How is everyone?

SamRwl · 19/06/2019 22:37

@Alarae what a gorgeous photo 😍 congratulations xx

InOmniaParatus13 · 20/06/2019 05:25

I’m okay thank you @hazandduck ☺️

No spotting since 8pm yesterday, nausea has gone for the moment but no doubt it will be back soon, Forced myself to eat breakfast too!

Welcome to all the newbies ☺️

Charm23 · 20/06/2019 07:05

@muddypuddlejumping Thanks! I'm so pleased that this pregnancy is going a lot smoother than my last. Even with the cyst this time, I just hated all the spotting and bleeding last time.

@gizmosslave Glad your scan went well and you weren't put back too many days.

@Lovemartina2012 Glad your scan went well too! I was put back by almost a week so it's good that you're right on track!

@ballsdeep That's reassuring although tbh I was kinda hoping it will just disappear on it's own!

@InOmniaParatus13 Best of luck for Monday. I have my fingers crossed for you!

@Alarae @JellyBaby666 Welcome and congrats!

Charm23 · 20/06/2019 07:06

@Lovemartina2012 Oops when I said I was put back almost a week, I forgot to say that was in my last pregnancy when I was scanned at about 6 weeks lol. Luckily I'm 1 day ahead this time so far.
