PREDICTIONS

BabyMadwithBump on Thu 24-May-07 14:57:52

seaside72 on Thu 24-May-07 16:18:25
predictions - arghh - I have no idea - if we get there I am sure I will be late - 24 January is my prediction
weight ??

seaside72 · 01/10/2007 09:32

OK it's me again with my boring maternity allowance questions!! - groan.

I am soooo confused - I cannot find any definitive answers on when you can start claiming it but it seems you can start from the 26th week of pg? So if I fill out this huge form do I wait to send it until I am 26 weeks or send it now and put I want to claim from 26 weeks?

I cannot believe I went to the jobcentre for an hour last week and the woman was more clueless than me - grrrrr

Also I cannot figure out how they are going to assess me - I pay NI contributions so technically it seems they do not even bother to check out your test period? Has anyone had to prove the earnings in their test period? I can do it but just wondered how you do it (send in copies of invoices for work etc???)

It feels a bit like this is some kind of dungeons and dragons game - if you can figure it out you get the dosh and if you can't tough luck!!!

Anyway - sorry for boring questions ( I think prob only greedy and bodkin can help?? and you are both slightly occupied at the moment !!)

Ok - finally a TMI question - discharge has increased a bit over the past week - mw said this was normal in 2nd trim- but yesterday and this morning it is uncomfortable - sort of all feels a bit swollen and warm down under and a little sore/tender? I suppose it is either a bout of thrush or could it be the beginnings of piles - or even vvv - arghhh!

Right - sorry girls that was such a me me me post

greedy - are you still with us?

honey - any strudel backlash!!

fettle - hope Toby is doing OK

Chooster - about hot water - is it back? I know what a nightmare that is - sorry about row with DH also hon - hope you sorted it out xxx

MrsMc- of hot weather in Spain - hope it is still warm in S of France by the time we get there!

Shoot - gotta run and be on site for a window delivery - later girls xxxxxx

MrsMcJnr · 01/10/2007 11:00

Hey ladies!! can´t get my emoticons to work but I´m smiling at you all from here in Spain. It´s 28c and sunny and DH is checking football scores so I thought I´d have a sneaky check up on you all!! Thinking constantly about you Greedy and Honey x

MrsMcJnr · 01/10/2007 11:20

Hey, just read through from where I left off, I wish I could answer all the comments but I doubt I´ll get away with that!

Greedy LOL I really do hope you have a poop whilst I am away!!!

Bodders No, I don´t think I saw anything on the screen but then again ...! So glad the impetigo isn´t bad.

Honey I´m 25 weeks tomorrow. Think I might have had some Braxton Hicks last night, shooting pains across my bump, it was a really odd feeling but all fine today.

Seaside - interesting about the job centre. Hope you don´t have an infection hon.

Chooster - sounds chilly hon, hope you and DH have made up now.

I bought a magazine at the airport called My Pregnacy, it was 4.99 but well worth it, it covers so much and also has another style of hammock in it Chooster and Honey. Anyway, I´m having a great time winding my Mum up. There are pages and pages of names at the back and both of the ones we have chosen feature. I´ve told her we know what Beanie will be called and that it´s in there and it´s driving her mad! So far she thinks they are Tristan and Nuala!!!

I bought Beanie some more clothes on Sat, very European (i.e bright!) DH thinks.

Been chatting to our folks about our move over here, it looks like it will be the beginning of May now when we get back from BVI as my folks are away from 1 April for a month.

Sorry it´s all me me me - take care all of you xx

Bodkin · 01/10/2007 11:22

Hi all

Greedy - sorry I didn't get on to wish you happy due day yesterday! Hope you're well and made some lovely purchases at lakeside. Good luck for this week, hope it happens SOON - I am on the edge of my seat waiting for your news!

Seaside - I think if you pay regular NI contributions you don't need to prove your earnings - I didn't send anything off with my form anyway, apart from the MatB1. I didn't know you could start getting the allowance as early as 26 weeks - I must admit I thought that was when you had to apply for the MA. I seem to remember being sent a form when I was about 30 weeks (vague guess) and I was to send it back when I had stopped working... i think. Bit fuzzy I'm afraid. You could try going to the DWP website - they'll have all the info. Sounds like it could be thrush? HOpe not though.

Fettle - sorry to hear Toby's still jaundiced - but agree with everyone else, if the MWs aren't concerned then I think you should relax

Can't believe you and Chooster with your non-crying babies! I had to put cotton wool in my ears for nappy changes the first few weeks with Isla! She still likes a good howl now, but its much better than DD1 was, so I'm chuffed. Basically, even if she's a teeny weeny bit tired, she cries. So I am constantly making sure she is well napped otherwise it is a very noisy house! And she's gone from being a great sleeper at night (she has been known to do 10/11 hours at a stretch) to being a bit rubbish. Last ngiht was 12.45 and 4.45... booooooo hissssss! Hope it's just a growth spurt.

Chooster - I HATE that , when you're looking forward to a nice hot bath and then there's no water. I was ratty with my DP last night as well, for being so rubbish at being aware of the fact that we now have 2 young children who get tired, need feeding etc. We went to visit some friends, and I felt like I had to constantly chivvy him to get ready to leave. In the end I finally got everyone in the car at 5.30, but it was too late - full on melt down from both car seats!

Guess who I was introduced to at a poncy private view on Saturday? None other than Jonny Boden himself! (He lives in Dorset) What are the chances of that! Needless to say I looked Shit, had baby sick dribbled all down my arm and hair was all wet from having got caught in the rain on the way there! He is very eccentric! Didn't have a chance to do any more than say hello and shake his hand as he was chatting to a friend of ours who we had gone to the private view with. I was a bit actually as DD1 was dressed head to toe in Boden's finest! He might have thought I was some kind of stalker.

Hello everyone else - Rainbowdays, Ready (if you're reading), Babymad, Firsty (how did the move go) Iampg, Kitkat, Honeyapple (good work on the strudel ).... who have I forgotton... someone probably ... sorry!

MrsMcJnr · 01/10/2007 11:25

Can´t believe you met Johnny Bodders!!!!!!!!!!

Bodkin · 01/10/2007 11:26

I knew I'd forgotton someone! So sorry Mrs! I thought you wouldn't be reading what with you being away and all. V of your lovely weather. it is pure misery here today!

honeyapple · 01/10/2007 11:55

Morning all,

Well still feeling a bit sick from my overeating of pastry products last night and it is pissing it down with rain here so i am stuck indoors. Really need to go to the supermarket but cant be arsed... will have to kick myself off the sofa soon .

Mrs- feeling very of the sunshine in Spain. Good news I hear you havent got Addisons, phew! Exciting about having some BHs.

Bodders- my friend used to work for boden and she said Johnny was a bit of a weirdo! So perhaps you were let off with only a brief hello.

Seaside- cant help with the MA... I havent even bothered to look into it cos i havent worked (paid) for ages, although I am a company director with DP's business...
Not sure what that is all about really! However, a friend of mine was only working a few hours a week and she has got the statuary MA which is £100 pw which isnt bad! She is better off now than when she was working. Definitely worth perserving with.

Greedy- where are you? thinking of you loads. x

BTW I dreamt about you lot last night... worrying.

Rainbowdays · 01/10/2007 12:42

Hi all,

Fettle - Mary hey! - fantastic, - of course your dd will have to be an angel!

Honeyapple - now thank you for overeating the pastries last night, I needed someone here to empathise on the feeling sick front!!!! sorry!. And don't bother with the supermarket, what is being heavily pg all about if not being able to say I just couldn't manage it!!!!!! Make the most of sitting and chilling!

Bodkin - ok I must be so so niaive - but who is Jonny Boden???

MrsMc - good to hear you have arrived safely and are enjoying good weather.

Greedy - you have gone missing for one day and already I am wondering if all is ok!!! So either you are 1) can't be bothered to come and chat to us as you have your dc assembly today. or 2) you are in the middle of puff pant blow, or 3) you are teasing us! perhaps others can think of other possible reasons for your missing a day with us!!!!!

OK I am driving myself crazy with thinking that this pg has all gone wrong and I am feeling sick for no reason.... pregnancy hormones are running rife, so I shall not stay chatting much longer or I will start whinging again.... bye for now

KitKat30 · 01/10/2007 13:44

Just a quick howdy to everyone - just popping my head on Greedy-watch!! Greedy hun - where are you??? Are you pushing?!?!

Hope you're all OK!! More later when the bub is asleep (please please let him sleep!!! They should have a "bloody tired" emoticon...)

xxx

Rainbowdays · 01/10/2007 18:17

Wow this thread is getting long...

Just to let you know that I will be out of communication for a while again as I am having to leave home to go to a job elsewhere, and will not have easy internet access.

will try to get back when I can.

greedygreedyguzzler · 01/10/2007 18:35

BORING BORING!!!!! STILL HERE MINUS BABY!!!!

honeyapple - scarey that we could meet at lakeside!!! good idea though! its about 40 mins for me too! strudel sounds nice.....better than baby snot at least!

fettle - i hope you are less worried today. i am sure babies tend to lie awake and stare a bit when first born, especially if they are early. i remember several of my friends going on about how chilled and contented their babies were and how they never cried and i remember thinking " its early days! mine were like that for the first week or so too!" so i am sure its normal. try not to worry too much.

i hope your bath was lovely and relaxing choosterchops! i have had more baths in this past week than i have had the whole of the rest of my pg! every time i think i am going into labour (which is about every 2 hours at the moment) i jump in the bath to spruce myself up for the mws at the hospital!!!............................WHOOPS! just read your next post chooster! sorry! hope you managed some alcohol at least to cheer yourself up!

seaside - i put a date to start on my MA form and then they still sent me another form (only last week) for me to confirm exactly the date i stopped working! so i think they always double check anyway. and i would send it sooner rather than later, cos i still havent got any of mine!!! hoping for a nice big lump sum of back pay soon though!!! should be about £800 hopefully!! and nope i have never had to prove my earnings! they just seem to take your word for it! (they did last time anyway! hopefully they will this time too!)

bodders - HELLLOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!isla sounds like a superstar sleeping for 11 hours! wish i could!!! that would be fab!!! but i was up with you last night at 4am, you should have come online for a chat!!! i do often wonder just how many of us are up in the night at the same time with either small babies or 'not being able to sleep cos of pregnantness!'

mrs - so glad it is hot and sunny in spain for you and so glad you dont have addisons. please dont think about me and honey CONSTANTLY ! sounds a bit weird!!!.........your not too weird are you??!!! and its nice for you to do a 'me me me' post....cos you dont normally and it makes a nice change!!

rainbowdays - i havent been missing for a day!!! i posted you a very sympathetic message yesterday! did you miss it? it doesnt happen often!! have had a very busy day today and i am trying my hardest to keep going as normal and not dwell on the fact that this baby loves being in my tummy so much!!!! cant actually belive my due date has come and gone! if anyone tries to tell you third babies come early....dont listen to them!!! i really thought this one would, especially as (like you) they are all quite close together and supposedly my body knows what its doing!!...what a load of BOLLOCKS hey!!!??? anyway...hope your sickness is improving. oh, and i am not teasing you, but i do keep saying to dh that i am getting a bit embaressed to come and post on here and keep saying that i havent popped yet!!! for some reason it feels like my body is failing me and its a bit embaressing!!

twix - HIYA!!!!!

honeyapple · 01/10/2007 18:58

Good to hear from you Greedy .
Sorry you havent popped yet... you know it could drag on for 2 more weeks yet Sorry!

I've felt really sick all day. Like bad stomach acid or something and tummy grumbles. Keep needing to poo . Think I will try to get in the bath tonight unless I am too knackered... Chooster did you ever have your bath?

kitkat, good to hear from you .

rainbowdays- chin up

Chooster · 01/10/2007 19:25

No, didn't get my bath, but I did turn to drink . You were right Greedy, I had a nice cold glass of wine. Think there will be another with my name on tonight!!

The atmosphere has thawed a bit between me and DH too so things are OK.

Actually can I ask you guys a question, Theo has a big boob fest every evening and sometimes near the end I just dont think there is anything left. Do you reckon I could offer him some formula to top him up if he needs it? Or shoud I just leave it up to my body to know what the right amount is IYKWIM. He hasn't tried a bottle yet so he may revolt but it was just a thought????

Good to hear from you Mrs!!!!! Sounds lovely and warm... Its been lovely and sunny in Edi today.. Even had to get suncream on

Hope your feeling OK Honey... Maybe your body is gearing up for the big push

Good to hear from you Greedy!!!

Hi everyone else, have run out of time but will pop back later

Johnny Boden eh!!!

fettleandbabyfettle · 01/10/2007 19:32

Greedy - never mind - go with your temping due date - that's the 3rd isn't it?!! Keep postive - we don't think (well I don't anyway) think you're body is failing you - I'd much rather have let Toby come out naturally than have him forced out before he's ready!

Honey - sorry the strudel didn't go down well - have to admit I don't feel like having any tonight either!!. Got some rhubarb and custard to eat, but not really very hungry?! Not like me!!

Toby is sitting in his bouncy chair staring at the sofa - interesting, eh?!!! Thanks for the reassurances - you are right - I should be grateful he doesn't cry - I'm sure he'll make up for in the weeks ahead!! He's slept most of the day, through his birth registry, drive to Bath and back and a long discussion at Travis Perkins about kitchen cupboards, but at least now we've ordered our replacement cabinets, so I might have a fully functioning kitchen before too long - as long as DH can find a carpenter to sort the worktop!!

Kitkat - great to hear from you - hope you doing well - other than the obvious lack of sleep!

Chooster - hope you manage a bath tonight - sorry to hear about DH and grumpiness. I think I've said it before, but my DH and I are having "discussions" much more than usual at hte moment - generally due to his impatience with DD as well. I go with the positive parenting, whereas he goes with the grumpy shouting version, which she doesn't respond to - so they both end up shouting. On Sat eve, I very nearly got in the car with Toby and left them to it!! It was so grumpy in the house - didn't have anywhere to go, or else I might have done it!! Hope he's bought you a lovely muffin to make up!

Bodders - Jonny Boden - you met Jonny Boden and you didnt' ask about our modelling contract!!!!. Do you think he actually noticed that DD1 was wearing Boden? Would he recognise it? He probably doesn't have much hands on work wtih it all now that they are getting so big. Must try on my new dress from there - maybe tonight.

Mrs - just - HOT!!!

Rainbowy - waves!! Good to see you, hope to see you soon!! Hope the sickness passes soon!! Can't go on much longer!

Seaside - can't help with the mat pay - but great news about the dog - glad he's better!

fettleandbabyfettle · 01/10/2007 19:36

Sorry crossed with you Chooster - I would say your body knows what to do - but also if he's just started wanting more, you could try formula, as it might help him sleep through the night - we're considering trying it in a few weeks time. With DD, we didn't offer a bottle until too late, by which time she refused and didn't take a bottle until 9 months when I went back to work - this time around, I want him to be able to take a bottle, so sometimes, I don't have to get up at night!! But it is judging when the right time is!

Do whatever you feel is best, as you know your body and Theo the best!

xxx

honeyapple · 01/10/2007 19:41

chooster- i reckon your body will produce the milk for theo if he keeps going at it, however I know lots of mums who swear by 'topping' up with formula in the evening. Neither of my DC would take a bottle until they were a lot older (at least 6mths), so I have no personal experience. If you fancy giving it a try i cant see it being a problem, so long as you dont start substituting BF for a bottle.
BTW i think I will try to get this LO to at least take a bottle so that I can go out and leave DP in charge occasionally.

honeyapple · 01/10/2007 19:47

crossed with you fettle! we both give great advice ha!

Bodkin · 01/10/2007 21:03

Chooster - I just wanted to agree with what Honey and Fettle said re topping up, but also to add that when Isla gets really overtired, as well as screaming, she gets REALLY sucky, and will frantically suck at my boob, her hands, a muslin etc. It is different from her hungry suck which is like a hoover on my boob with long gulps and a firm grip - this is much more fussy and pulling off a lot, even if there is milk there. Could it be a bit of that as it gets towards his bedtime?

Greedy - I agree with Fettle - go with your temping date! Here's to the 3rd of October for your 3rd child! That would be good - you and Honey meeting up in Lakeside sipping Lattes and comparing babies in a few months time! I am a bit confused though, because I thought you were Herts and she was Kent, isn't London in between those two or am I just rubbish at geography?!

Fettle - don't worry about the staring at boring things - Isla was (and still is) fascinated by the underside of our bathroom shelf (changing mat is underneath it) Who needs poncy toys for babies eh? A bit of peeling paint and she's well happy...

Shall we start a new thread soon? Suggestions for a name? Hmmm.... scratches head and wanders off for a biscuit...

honeyapple · 02/10/2007 09:42

Hiya... well we've got a few more posts until we hit 1000 .

Bodders- have you thought of a witty new thread title yet?

So Greedy, are we going to keep asking how you are, or ignore you until you post with some news? (or is DH going to post on your behalf?)

Going to go out and (attempt to) buy a couple of nursing bras today... anyone know where you can get nice ones?

fettleandbabyfettle · 02/10/2007 10:13

Hi Honey - I get mine from Bravissimo. They've got some really pretty ones at the moment (well 2 anyway), that aren't the normal plan "over-the-shoulder-boulder-holders!!" Have fun - wish I'd been properly measured though, as it was a bit hit and miss, but then my boobs appear to have grown much more than I thought!! But thankfully come down a bit from the initial influx of milk - they were ginormous then!!

Just got a card from DH's grandmother, who is a little deaf - she seems to think we've called our son Tony! Wonder how long that will last, or will he be forever known as Tony by her!!!

Trying to have a sleeping day today, with a nice lunch out with DH (and Toby) while DD is at school - trouble is, my always sleepy Toby is wide-awake and has been for a while!! DH is painting the kitchen/dining-room where the wall was knocked down, so I feel very lazy just sitting on the sofa, but can't be arsed to do anything else! House is a tip, so must find some energy somewhere to sort it out, but not today!!!

Greedy - how you doing? Pushing? Didn't have our normal late night post from you, did we? But then you posted a bit earlier yesterday! hope you still not too down-heartened - were your other babies on time - remember this is rambo-sperm conception - maybe they need a bit longer gestation time to make the bionic woman!!!

Chooster - how did you know that Theo had reflux? When did it start? Is he all better now? How is DH? Any more thoughts on the bottle? How many questions, can I ask you?!

Bodders - how is your little Isla? How's DD1 getting on being a big sister? Still loving it, or is the novelty wearing off? Not feeling very inspired for a new thread title - do we think that Marcy will arrive before or after we hit 1001 messages!!!

MrsMc - still Hot !!!! hope you are enjoying it - bring back some sun to us!! how long you away for? Can't remember?

Firsty - you ok - not heard from you in a while?

Big waves to everyone else - need to see to Tony/Toby who appears to be silently bringing up his last feed dribble by dribble onto the sofa!!

xxx

honeyapple · 02/10/2007 12:21

i've given up on the shopping...I went out and managed to take some library books back, but I'm having lots of uncomfortable period type pains so I have come home again to just sit on the sofa. Still feeling sicky.

Hope this isnt early labour cos I wouldnt be able to have home birth until next week. perhaps it's just my body gearing up...

Chooster · 02/10/2007 13:22

Oh, hang on honeyapple junior!! At least until homebirth time. Hope you are feeling better, perhaps some relaxing on the sofa will perk you up.

Thanks for the advise on a bottle. I may try tonight but I think you may be right Bodkin in that its probably a comfort thing. I want to try him on a bottle anyway for all the reasons you've mentioned but have only got 4oz of breastmilk stored in the feezer . There's just always so much to do in the morning, which boob-wise would be my best time, that I dont have the time to express - or maybe I just cant be bothered to find the time . Must try something soon as have got a couple of parties coming up

Fettle, our parenting styles are the same as you and your DH. I go with a softer approach and DH seems to think the louder he shouts the more likely Max is to do what he says . The same happens though, they both end up shouting and Max then has a meltdown about about something really small (in my eyes anyway). I'm also more tolerant than DH. How do you tackle it? Do you try to get DH to be more like you in the way he disciplines??? I do and then the end result is that DH and I argue... Mmmmm. The reflux started at about 3 weeks and he would throw up his entire feed in one go at least once a day. More upsetting though was the groaning and grumbling after every feed as the acid irritated him. Sometimes that lasted an hour. But it is SO much better now and I've even stopped the gaviscon. He doesn't grumble at all and the only thing I have to do is keep him quite upright after a feed or it dribbles out. Mind you thats probably the same as non-reflux babies??? Maybe thats why he is so content now because he's like "wow, no pain when I eat!!! This is great "

I dont think your geography is too wrong Bodders, but they could both make it there in the same-ish time. . If I still lived in Bethnal Green in East London I could have joined you. I loved Lakeside

Anyway must dash - hi to all!!! Hope you are both OK Firsty and Babymad.

I've been a domestic goddess this morning. Well, the goddess is stretching it . But have made dinner and pudding already for tonight, tidied, put some washing on and dusted. And got some lovely smile from my little man . Think I may have a lie down now

fettleandbabyfettle · 02/10/2007 19:32

Hey, where is everyone this evening?

honey - hope you ok and little Honeypot is still happily inside you - is DP still away?

Greedy - you realise everytime you don't post for more than 10 hours we'llt hink you're finally there!! Hope you've had a good day pushing!!

Chooster -have you seen there is a thread in the parenting section about telling partners to parent as you do - perhaps you and I should read it!!! Do tend to tell DH not to be so harsh with her and try to alter his tone to be positive, rather than just shouting, as then you have a chance of reasoning with her, or else it just becomes a battle of wills that noone is going to win! When he's in a good mood, he does try it, but still when he's tired, he finds it quite hard and I hear him shouting, but hopefully it is getting through to him! [I really hope, he's not reading this thread anymore!!! - I do love you DH!!! and you know I think this anyway!!]

Never got any sleeping done today, as lovely little Toby has been awake lots today, apart from when DH and I were out shopping and for lunch, so early to bed, but DH wants to watch that parenting programme - hope it doesn't annoy me too much!!!

xxx

Bodkin · 02/10/2007 19:59

For godsake Honey don't have your baby before Greedy - she'll never forgive you All sounds a bit like pre-labour to me though - esp. the dodgy tum.... Hold fire there little Honey, you're not allowed out yet!

Interesting that thread on parenting - I just had a quick scan through. I think me and DP both discipline in a similar way - generally we are quite calm and firm and reasonable - but occasionally she will press the right button at the wrong time and we'll really get cross with her. Usually the calmer of the two of us will go and sort things out, and it will be a bit good cop/bad cop I suppose. Seems to work generally. She's a good kid most of the time though

Isla's been doing some lovely cooing and singing today - really enjoying the sound of her own voice. It's funny with the second one - with Nelly I was watching her like a hawk and reading all the books and thinking "why isn't she doing X yet?". With Isla, it's like "Oh, are you doing that already - oh well done you"

Think I'll watch Bringing up Baby later - will be back here after for a rant no doubt...

had a bit of a crap day today!! saw ds's harvest assembly this mornign which was FAB and so cute and made me cry (but only cos i am pg obviously!!!) that wasn't crap.that was lovely. but then it kind of dawned on me that i hadn't felt baby move since last night and i went into a huge panic and phoned the labour ward. after lying on my side for an hour i still hadn't felt anything and it was 1pm by then so they told me to go in and get monitored. as soon as they hooked e up to the monitor they found the heartbeat and i burst into tears! kept me on for an hour and i still didnt feel any movements even though they said the trace looked ok. anyway, they told me to go back in tomorrwo if the same thing happens, but since about 5pm baby hasn't stopped wriggling!!!
ds had to go to hospital too to have an ultrasound to check his kidneys cos he had a few urinary tract infections, so dh had to leave me and take ds to a different hospital and it was literally 10 mins after he left that the MW said i could go so then i had to wait for him to come back and collect me which took 2 HOURS!!!! so i sat outside in the shitty weather for 2 hours waiting to be picked up.......

anyway! been getting lots more pains tonight and saw lots of BHs on the trace earlier. mw kept saying OOOooooooooooo can you feel that, look another tightening!!? ...............yep!......... they are such fun!!!!

bodders - i like the idea of the 3rd oct for my 3rd child!!! nice idea! my temping due date was the 5th though which is when i have my sweep booked for so could well be possible! think i might watch that programme too if dh lets me!!

fettle - hows TONY doing??!! my ds was 8 days late and dd was 1 day late...so i am quite an oldhand at being overdue!!! still worries me though which is why i ended up in the hospital today panicking!! cant rem why i didnt post last night! cant imagine i went to bed early that would have been far too sensible!!

OMG honey!!! - DON'T have your baby before me, bodders is right, i would NEVER forgive you!!!!!! wait till friday at least !!!i want mine before friday cos my mum is going to lisbon for the weekend and isnt around for childcare..not sure what my backup plan is yet, but i am hoping i dont have to think of one. i like honeypot!!! what a cute name!!! i think whatever you decide to call him i might call him honeypot.....do you mind?!!

chooster and fettle - i am glad i am not the only one who thinks i am a better parent than dh!!!!! we spend much more time doing it than them dont we so we are bound to be better at it!!!!!!! (hope dh never reads this either!!! i am sure he would disagree!!) ok, so maybe i'm not BETTER than him, i just know so much more about what i SHOULD do and how i SHOULD do it!!! (doesn't mean i do it right though!!)
