Crossed with you Bodders-
So sorry to hear of your friend's loss... that is really awful. Do they have any idea why she lost this baby so late?It ain't fair is it .
I think a hamper sounds a lovely, caring idea.

Bodkin · 13/09/2007 11:23

Now I've crossed with you Honeyapple! Sounds like you are enjoying tinkering with your new toys! Your ambynest sounds like a brilliant bargain! I bought a new buggy the other week, but then had 2nd thoughts about the colour (blue) so am now waiting (rather impatiently) for a red one to come in to the shop.

MrsMcJnr · 13/09/2007 11:25

Awful, awful news about your friend Bodkin - it was like I was saying to Firsty earlier - the baby has already become such a big part of your life at this stage - I really feel for her god, that's scared me half to death too was I right in thinking she had low fluids which means that the baby effectively can't breathe properly?

Bodkin · 13/09/2007 11:26

No, not yet. She didn't have a post-mortem done on the baby first time round as they thought it was a "just one of those sad things" situation, but maybe they will this time.

fettleandminifettle · 13/09/2007 11:27

Morning all!

Mrs, if McJnr hasn't moved yet - drink some ice-cold water and lie down on your left-side - that's what they made me do in the hospital on Monday, when he was a bit lethargic - but he probably is having a nice long relaxing kip - he luckily has a lot of room to move around in still. My little one is rapidly running out of space - elbows, knees, bottoms (Actually hope only 1 bottom!!) sticking out everywhere!! So uncomfortable! But only 4 sleeps to go!!!!!

Bodders - you're poor friend. She sounds like she's got some good supportive friends around her, which will help her a bit. I've no idea how I would cope if anything happened now to mini-fet. I always think of for Rah on the TTC threads - she lost her little Bertie after he was born, around 24 weeks (I think). She was such an inspiration, how she picked herself up and got on with life - just wish she'd get that BFP she so desperately wants now.

Glad the first set of jabs went ok Chooster and Bodkin - all these things I have to remember! Which way round does a nappy go again?!!

Kitkat - great to hear from you. Glad all going well. Don't you worry, I never had any free time when DD was born - not quite sure what I did with my time, but there wasn't much left!!. Doubt i'll be on here as much once minifet arrives - I'm still amazed at Chooster and Bodders! I still can't quite believe that one can breast-feed on the run after her other son, and other goes swimming in the sea so soon after birth!! Jealous of their super-powers!.

Greedy - hope your silence is coz you are tired after your journey yesterday and nothing more sinister, or the fact that you gave birth in a layby on the M11. hope all is well with you - not long now til you stop work, or til Tuesday when we are having our babies!!

Babymad - we're all thinking of you - hope you are doing ok?

Mum arrived last night, so all ready for this baby to come now - Mum is trying to pick up DD's routine, so luckily we have a few days before little one arrives. Unfortunately, my little bro is in bits at the moment (not sure I've said before), he broke up with his girlfriend after 2.5 yrs a couple of weeks ago and is still absolutely distraught (he has also finally faced up to the fact he's suffering from depression, so just started treatment), but he was on the phone from 6.30pm til 9pm last night in floods of tears. I just didnt' know what to say to him (but he hung up happier than when he started, so that's good!), but now Mum is down here and closer to him (he lives in London), she's torn between looking after me or him - I feel he's the priority, but hopefully we'll get him to come here this weekend and then she can look after 2 of her babies at the same time!!! [really goes to show that the worries of a mother don't ever go away, even when your children are all grown up!!!]

Mrs - go ahead and write the letter - we've absolutely nothing to use and we might even get some free clothes!!! By the way, it was the polka dot dress that DH bought for me, I also remember, he got the jersey wrap dress (as apparently it covers very lump!!!!).

take care all - back up to the hospital this afternoon for more monitoring and yet another blood test!

Bodkin · 13/09/2007 11:28

sorry Mrs, we;re all crossing all over the place - that last post was to Honey. I think it indicates there was a problem wiht the baby;s kidneys, but i don't really know any details yet. Don't worry yourself too much, you have had your 20 week scan and all is fine - any problems would have been picked up at that. But it does make you worry I know. I have been giving my girls extra big cuddles since I found out.

fettleandminifettle · 13/09/2007 11:34

Blimey - I crossed with loads and loads there and strangely I'm sure your message Chooster wasn't there between Mrs and Bodders! Think it all going crazy!!

thanks Honey - I'll have a look at the for sale boards - hadn't thought of that. We also need to practise with the car seat - can get it on the pram chassis, but totally forgotten how to get it into the car! So much to think about!!

Also - bodders and Chooster - you've reassured me that you aren't both super-woman. I'm with honey, mini-fet;s going to sleep 8 hours a night from the day he's born. I AM NOT GOING TO HAVE ANOTHER CHILD WHO DOESN'T SLEEP AND IS SICK ALL THE TIME!!!! [do you think writing it in capitals, will make sure it doesn't happen?]

Bodkin · 13/09/2007 12:22

Fettle - Ive just been hoovering up all the dried posset/puke spots off the stairs! its grim having a puker isnt it!

greedygreedyguzzler · 13/09/2007 14:23

well, i didn't give birth in the car and i am home safe and sound! my nan was in such a bad way i burst into tears as soon as i saw her. she could hardly speak, getting any words out was such an effort that i ended up feeling guilty asking her anything so i just kind of sat with her as she groped for my hands and hair (not sure why, but she wasn't with it at all). anyway i went back in to say a final goodbye to her and she kept kissing my hand and she told me she loved me! i REALLY couldn't stop crying then as you can imagine. it was lovely to get her saying something that made sense and such a nice thing too. i am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOo glad that i decided to go now.

anyway, fettle - i didnt realise you had a sweep yesterday, that could really get everything going! hope your haircut looks fab! i have seen a lovely dress from boden too, that i am thinking i might order for a wedding i have got to go to in the middle of october! trouble is i am not sure what size to get? how am i supposed to know how fat i will be then? cant see me doing a bodkin somehow and springing back into shape seconds after giving birth!!!!
my dh is back in my good books....he bought me flowers and a pedicure yesterday to cheer me up, so i have just been and had the pedicure and it was bliss!!!

mrs - i look piggy without mascara too and however knackered or emotional or stressed i got after having my first baby....i still found the time to put some on and i am sure you will too! whats babymads name then? i hope she is ok too but i reckon she must have a touch of PND cos she was quite a regular poster before wasn't she? you will have to get dh to start shaving your awkward bits for you wont you mrs!!! and i couldnt agree more with you about keeping moving during labour.................me and dh went for a walk round a field of cows when i was in labour with ds with me stopping every 15 mins to have a contraction............a bizarre but lovely memory!!!! and it definately sped things up for me!!! take note fettle!!!

hey firsty great to hear from you!!! gald all is going well in the firsty household!

i am sure we would all get on really if we met! but i reckon it would be so strange!!! imagine how many kids there would be? actually in the evening so we could all get pissed together would be best!!! or both!!! all of us with dh/dps and kids and all the girls get pissed and the men do the baby/ child watching!! am i getting carried away????!!!

ok, so i am a bit freaky with my scarily good memory for trivia!!!!...honeyapple is hannah! and kitkat and firsty never told us their names..............probably both have really freaky names, thats why!!! what do you think!!!!!

pubic symphysis is killing me today ( i can finally sympathise with you fettle) so i reckon my lo has dropped a bit and is pushing on my pelvis. picked up my tens machine earlier so thats good!!!

twixy baby! HELLLLOOOOOOOO! long time no hear!!! glad all is going well with little joe!!! i reckon you will have another one before you know it.............but didnt i remember you saying you were only ever going to have one? or wasn't that you!!!???

hi bodders - you are right all the sitting in the car was quite nice, but WOW did my feet swell!!! and GOD was it boring with no one to talk to apart from bump and myself!!!
oh my god, sorry bodders, just read on and saw what you said about your freind. how heartbreaking. and how difficult for you, just having had isla...you cant help but feel a bit guilty can you. but you know you musn't and she will get through it with all her lovely freinds like you to help her.

and fettle - you WON'T get a puker this time...........my second one wasn't!!!!!! not sure if this one will be or not!!!

fettleandminifettle · 13/09/2007 20:37

Glad you back safely Greedy - was getting worried about you!!

big wave to everyone - sorry not very chatty tonight - absolutely shattered! Need some energy for labour - need some pick-me-up (or sleep) before Tuesday!!

Take care all

Chooster · 13/09/2007 20:47

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend Bodkin. She must be feeling awful at the moment but at least she has some really thoughtful and kind friends to try to make it better. Fingers crossed she gets some answers in the post mortem. I gave birth to my second (middle) son at 21 weeks and it was an awful time. At least I knew it was going to happen though.

Sorry to hear about your Nan too Greedy, sorry it was upsetting but at least you got a chance to say goodbye.... Good on your DH for getting you some pressies! A pedicure souunds wonderful . I tae it he's back on your good books then - Have you had any more chats about names?

Fettle - I reckon you must only get one puker per family. DS1 was no problem but DS2 has ben a bit puky. Our washing machine has been going some the last few days! Toby should be just fine . I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that you and Honey get good sleepers. I thought Theo was doing OK-ish but then I've read our post natal thread and loads seem to have babies that are sleeping through already .

Hows that beanie moving now MrsMc. Hopefully you are sitting on the sofa right now feeling him / her jump about.

Aye, Theo is piling the weight on Bodders! I checked Max's charts and Theo's already a pound heavier at the same age, even though he was lighter at birth. He just doesn't seem to know when to stop!

I meant to say as well that I had Theo to his first swimming lesson with water babies on tuesday. And he was brilliant (proud mother alert!!!). of course he's not quite up to swimming a whole length yet but he'll get there . And big cheers for DS1 who has been without his night-time nappy for 2 weeks now and no accidents. This will be the jinx now I'm sure but hopefully it'll be ok. Its what he wanted so he's happy about it. I think since Theo has come along he thinks nappies are for babies .

Sorry for 'outing' you Hannah... Um, I mean Honeyapple.

MrsMcJnr · 14/09/2007 15:59

Hey there ladies (feeling very sleepy this Friday afternoon)

Chooster ? thanks for the reassurance, Beanie was quiet yesterday but is more active today so that makes me feel better hope Theo?s cold hasn?t developed and he is happier now after the jags, poor thing! hon, I meant to say, I didn?t mean to be so insensitive when we met about the stage I was at etc, I just stupidly forgot that that was the stage you were at with DS2 I am so sorry, I hope I didn?t hurt you! How cute that Theo went swimming!! totally up for taking Beanie to that class!

Bodkin ? still thinking about your poor friend, got the impression she?d lost another baby at this stage too or is that nonsense? so glad things are going well with your family of 4

Honeyapple ? the aqua natal is quite far away but it is the only one in the evening in the
whole of the County! Can you believe that Chooster? Great deal on the hammock! Great that all is on course!

Fettle ? wow so soon now hon thanks for the tips. So glad your Mum is now in situ but I am sorry to hear about your bro I will write the letter this weekend! Hope all was ok at the hospital.

Greedy ? so sorry it was that way with your Nan I can see why you are glad you want, that was so precious xx Chooster was right with Babymad?s name your plan for the meet up sounds fab!

fettleandminifettle · 14/09/2007 19:19

Quiet on here today!!

hope everyone is ok.

Chooster, I don't think i knew that you had lost a little boy so late. I am so sorry to hear that.

Not much to report here - no news from the hospital following my blood tests yesterday, so assume all ok. Got another monitoring session tomorrow morning.

Still utterly exhausted and been having quite strong BHs all afternoon - not prepared mentally for this baby at all. Can't even remember how to hold a newborn - or how on earth you start to breastfeed! Not quite sure how I got this close without reading any books this time - think deep down i never actually believed this little one would stick after my 2 mc (does that sound strange?)

anyway, hope you all have fantastic weekends.

take care

Bodkin · 14/09/2007 21:13

Fettle - don't worry about reading books - I think I read far too many books with DD1 and it just drove me crazy in the end - so much conflicting advice. I haven't read any books this time round and don't intend to - I'm just making sure I don't do all the things I did wrong last time, and repeating all the things I did right.... seems to be working okish so far

Chooster - thanks for your kind words about my friend. I had not forgotton about your loss, but hope I haven't stirred up some sad memories for you.
Isla was in a terrible state yesterday evening, I think as a result of the jabs - really unsettled and screaming her lungs out. Thankfully she seems a bit more like her old (young!) self today. How was Theo after them? Can't believe you're doing swimming with Theo already! Isla can barely manage an hour awake before she gets crotchety and needs another nap!

Greedy - glad your journey was OK - sounds like an emotional day, but one that was well worthwhile. I like your fantasy meet-up where we all get pissed and the DPs look after the kids. Of course, I'd have to confess to my DP that I have been leading a double life for the past year and have a selection of internet chums that I'd like him to meet.... He does know that I go on Mumsnet now though, for BF advice etc., so that's a start.

MrsMc - glad to hear beanie is a bit more active and giving you some reassuring kicks. Hope you have a nice relaxing weekend and catch up on some kip - you sounded quite tired in your last post!

greedygreedyguzzler · 15/09/2007 12:03

hello all!

well...................i truly thought i was in labour last night and oh my god did i go into panic mode!!!!! i kept saying to my dh " shit its too late there is nothing i can do now, i HAVE to go through all this pain, i have NO choice! i REALLY was not handling it well at all! i had all the same kind of pains that i had in the early stages with dd and i was convinced that was it! i even phoned my mum to tell her to get ready to come over and look after the kids!!!

i am now so glad that i had that scare though, cos it made dh panic and he suddenly grabbed my pg book and started reading about labour and he grabbed the tens machine and swotted up on what to do with that!!! he even went through my hospital bags and checked we had anything.....................all while i was in the bath trying to slow things down!!! and when i phoned my mum back to tell her she didnt have to come over she said she had packed her bag and was now ready to come round at the drop of a hat whenever i rang!!! i suddenly feel much more prepared now and i feel like my dh and mum are too!

i wish i had been smart enough to fake going into labour weeks ago and then it might have got him/her/me more prepared!!!

reckon it will probably end up being another 4 weeks for me now!!!!

anyway just as well i didnt go into labour cos i am super busy at work today!!!! got a new patient in a minute and i am hoping and praying that he is 12 stone or less!!! I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT FINISHING WORK!!!!!!!!!

fettle - dont worry about holding baby, etc!! it will all come flooding back to you in no time!!!! i want to read a few books too just to refresh my memory but they are all packed up still in our old dining room. hopefully (according to dh!) our house will be practically finished by the end of the weekend!!! so i am hoping he is right and then i am going to spend next week RELAXING (while you are puffing and panting in hospital!!!) and then i dont mind going inot labour on fri night!!!!! good plan for me do you think!!!???.........i know i have changed my mind about a million times as to when i want this baby!!!

bodders - HOW FUNNY!!! i had forgotten that your dp didn't know all about us fantastic women on here!!! mine still thinks its all a bit odd that i get so excited about people i dont even know having babies, but at least he knows about you all!!!

mrs - glad your ickle one is kicking you again!!! i think its hard when the kicks aren't massive to keep track of how active baby is sometimes.

gotta go........my patient has just arrived and i just went and let him in and thank god he is a scrawny man!!!!!

have fab weekends all!!!

anyway! i now know that when it does happen i am going to be CRAP and PANIC!!!!

greedygreedyguzzler · 15/09/2007 13:28

whoops! meant to say dh check we had EVERYTHING in the hospital bag! not ANYTHING!!

well, my new patient was 12 1/2 stone !!! cant believe i thought he looked scrawny!!! it must be cos i am such a huge fat heffer that EVERYONE less than 14stone looks skinny to me!!!!

so excited i have nearly finished at work!!!! can't wait to get home and have a shower and wash all the minging patient juice off me!!!..................i have had a couple of mingers again this morning!!!

anyway gotta go!!! my 1.30 is here!!!

fettleandminifettle · 15/09/2007 15:19

greedy - how exciting? you might be having a wee false alarm, which will get stronger again tonight after lugging patients around!!!

Hope you are finished now and able to relax - good your house will be fininshed by the end of the weekend - I will make sure that DH has baby's curtain rail and curtains up before we go to bed tonight!! He's taken DD swimming now, so i'm supposed to be asleep - so had better go. trying to get some rest in now for Tuesday. Liver enzymes were up, but not too much, but they hadn't done the bile acids yet, so they are being done this afternoon and the hospital will ring later if the results are up - if I hear nothing, the next time I go in, will be Tuesday morning for the induction!! Very soon now and getting quite excited about it all - had a quick flick through books last night and realised that i remembered most of it (was just a bit scared that i wouldn't remember how to breast feed, but it all seemed to make sense!!! - just hope it happens that easily!!).

hope you are all having good weekends - enjoy the weather - I think it is due to get colder over the coming days!!!

Bodders - I'm amazed you kept DH away from Mumsnet - didn't you post during your early part of labour, or did i make that up!!! My DH still thinks you are all bored, middle-aged, male lorry drivers!! But i've given him a tour so he knows where to post when i'm in hospital to let you all know what is happening!! Remember to be nice to him!!!

Very nearly bought a new pram today - having fought it so far, suddenly thought how much I wanted a carrycot type pram, so baby can lie flat facing me and then tried the I-candy, which means you can have the pushchair bit facing you too, which seems a great idea - just can't justify £400, when we have a perfectly functional pram already - but it will be better for baby and make pushing him around nicer as we'll be able to interact, rather than having him facing the front and no idea what is going on with him without leaning over!!

Right - must go sleeping.

take care all

fettleandminifettle · 15/09/2007 20:01

I AM REALLY REALLY REALLY ITCHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MAKE IT GO AWAY SOMEONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

XXXX

Chooster · 15/09/2007 21:26

Oooooh I love my i-candy fettle. It is pricey but the i-candy cherry which I have is a bit cheaper than the apple. I think about £300. Still a lot (DH doesn't know how much it was ) but I hope to be able to sell it for a bit too. I'm so so so excited for you for tuesday! I was thinking about you today thinking it was your last weekend without the wee man SO sorry to hear about the itching though - I bet your not going to miss that, it must drive you mad . I lost my little Henry in December 2005, so he was in between Max and Theo. The doctors knew there was a problem at the 12week scan but it took a further 8 weeks to identify the problem and determine how bad it was. In the end he had hydrops caused by a condition called multiple lethal ptergia, which meant all his joints were fused so he would never be able to move, basically 'incompatible with life' as they say. So I had a late termination at 21 weeks. Your friend hasn't stirred up bad memories Bodders, I just really really feel for her - I hope she gets some reassurance from the test results. And I didn't think you were insensitive at all MrsMc!!!!!

God, that scare sounds like it really shook things up a bit greedy!!! At least your DH is a bit better prepared because I remember you saying that he thought you had ages to go and he needn't worry yet. Still it would be nice to get the house a bit more sorted. I'm so excited for you and fettle and honeyapple!! Will Fettle definately be the first to go? .

Sorry to hear Isla was unsettled Bodkin, but good to hear she is on the mend. Theo had a rough day on Wednesday eve and Thursday and he was really grumpy and cross. Today though he is much better and we've had more smiles today than ever before so I think he is also relived to be feeling better. He does have a full blown cold now though - Grrrrrr. Very snotty again.

We've had a great weekend so far and have done loads of stuff and been to some great play parks. Have you ever been to Beecraigs country park MrsMc??? We had a fab day there on Friday as it was nice and sunny and they loads of climbing frames etc for DS. We then stopped for a chippy by the water on the way home and looked a real quality family - all with our hoods up as it was a bit nippy, eating fish and chips out of the box and drinkin irn bru from the bottle (not Max of course before you call the bad parent police! He had his water ).

Anyaway better go - DH wants to watch something on telly

fettleandminifettle · 16/09/2007 17:27

Hi girls

Chooster - what a sad story about your little Henry? What an awful decision you would have had to have made? Makes me realise that my 2 mc are actually relatively easy to deal with than losing a baby that late. I'm glad you had a good weekend with your boys.

where's Greedy?!!! Bet she's having her baby - she won't want me beating her!!!

Well, we've just bought a new pram - all those times i've said on here that I wouldn't succomb, I have finally had my defences broken down!!! [won't give in to the constant batter for a sportscar though!!]. Just felt I really missed not having a carrycot with DD and as we now live in a town, so will be doing more walking from home to the shops rather than in the car first, it just made more sense - it is a bit of a waste of money really, but it is also much lighter than our other big pram. We didn't go with the I-Candy in the end - the apple was too cumbersome and the Cherry was too short for us, Chooster (we're giants remember!!!), so we've gone for a Quinny Buzz - lightweight with an adjustable handle - hopefully I'll like it. We spent another hour in the shop this afternoon trying it out, then promptly came home and bought it from Kiddicare for £70 less!!

Hope everyone has had good weekends - I'm still shattered, but I suppose that's the way of things to come for next few years!!!! Just can't believe that technically I could be pregnant for more than another 3 weeks (sorry Greedy!), I just don't think I could cope with the pain from my pelvis (or the itching), just hope both go instantly after birth, like they did with DD. Bit scared that it will take 3 days to break my waters like it did with DD, but hopefully it will be easier 2nd time around!

Take care all

MrsMcJnr · 16/09/2007 20:55

Hello ladies hope you?ve all had a good weekend. DH and I went bra shopping and buggy hunting in Glasgow yesterday ? poor DH, I did treat him to lunch though! I got 5 new bras at Bravissimo! Sounds really extravagant but it was 2 soft sleep bras (and boy did I notice the difference last night when I wore one ) and a beige, a black and a white for daytime. I had gone up to a 36G as suspected . We spent hours in the Pram Centre. We looked at loads of different makes of buggy (though no I-candy Chooster ) but again thought the bugaboo chameleon was best for us. Bodders ? would love to know how you are getting on with yours and where you got it from. I was almost in tears with frustration over the Quinny Buzz because I just could not get the safety catch on and I think I am quite strong. We also looked at cribs as an alternative to a Moses basket on the basis that LO could sleep in that for a lot longer therefore prolonging the need to buy a cot before we move to Spain ? so much to think about, was exhausted when we got home!

How are you all? it really is getting so exciting with a few of you getting so close ? just remembered I was meant to do the Boden letter tomorrow ? I promise!

Hey Fettle ? hope that no news is good news from the hospital sorry to hear you sounding a bit worried about not being prepared, I?m sure you are and that many feel the same second time round, you just don?t have the time to dwell like you did last time you?ll be a fab Mum 2nd time round too you know! It?ll be so exciting to get that first post from Mr Fettle ? not sure we?ll get internet access but DH is primed already to keep Chooster informed your thoughts on the I-Candy are some of the reasons I like the Bugaboo ? still to see an I-candy in a shop but they did tell us in a couple of places that the carrycot for the I-candy is considerably smaller than the other makes and that you are only likely to get 4 months instead of 6 ? given our moving plans, that didn?t sound great for us but I?m still keen to check that out, and the Jane. Sorry to hear you are soo itchy whoops see you?ve now bought the Buzz ? sorry for what I said above about the Buzz, maybe it was just me ? I did like everything about it otherwise (which is why I got so annoyed that I couldn?t shut it!)

Bodkin hey ? did you read the Baby Whisperer last time round? I?m wondering if it is worth buying that or the one that can?t be mentioned how is your friend? Hope Isla?s much better after the jags. Does your DP really not know what a prolific poster you are?! mine knows all about you all ? well, not all just when you are due, if you?ve had your babies etc ? not about VVVs or lady gardens or anything like that! thanks, the weekend has been good, only Sat was busy, the rest has been lazy

Greedy hey mat leave lady! sounds like a lot of excitement on Friday night hon, trail run doesn?t sound like a bad idea! hope the house is really nearly there hon and you can get some relaxing done! Patient juice ? eeeaaakkk!

Hey Chooster £300 is so much better than £600 ? where did you get your i-candy again? Glad I didn?t hurt you so sorry Theo has a cold again not been to Beecraigs but have heard it is nice, have you tried the Almond Valley Heritage Farm or the 5 sisters farm? Both out my way and meant to be good. LOL at you all eating your fish and chips!

Mrs - your pram thread has started some major discussions!!! Think i'm pleased with our pram purchase! Just hope I can close it! Although we've always got our old one, which the car seat fits onto for taking in the car, if I can't shut it!!!

She who should not be named's book is worth a read, but only take on board the bits that you feel fit into your lifestyle and don't think you have to take all of it on-board exactly as she says you have to. I found it very uesful for weaning advice when I started giving DD solids - the rest of it, I took the bits I liked and ignored the others!! Bit like all advice really!!!. Never read the baby whisperer so can't comment on that one.

In the middle of an on-line scrabble game with DH, so better get on with my go!! Thinking of taking scrabble into hospital on Tuesday, in case it is a long drawn out early labour! Keep my mind on other things!!

Sorry to hear about your holiday iampg - Its awful when that happens, espcially when you've been looking forward to it. How are thing with DP now?

You are right about the i-candy pram Mrs - it is small compared to others, and surprisingly heavy considering it is quite small. I reckon Theo will have outgrown it in a couple of months. The pram seat reclines fully so I'll use that if he needs to be lying down, but its not the same as having the pram bit. I like the quinny too!!! Good choice fettle!!!!

I've got both books and I think fettle is right about the GF book. Take what you want from it, but leave the bits that aren't for you. The baby whisperer is good too - again worth a read to take the bits that are relevant. You can have my copies if you want Mrs?

Anyway better go - in the middle of a row with DH. He's skulking in the bathroom and I'm hiding out in our office... Grrrr, men eh!!!
