Can I really be off by 3-4 weeks??

So, I need some help / positivity, according to my last menstrual bleed (15th Jan was my first day), I'm apparently 11 weeks, but I paid for a private scan on Saturday and after much searching (the gestational sac looked empty at first, she had to press hard and up) she seen a yolk sac but foetus was positioned difficulty. The sonographer said that it looks like I'm around 6 weeks pregnant not 10, and that it is showing a pregnancy is happening and they'd like to check again in 1 week. Could she actually be right? Or could this be a silent miscarriage? I've had no bleeding, my nausea has settled the past few days but my breasts are still tender. I've got my nhs scan due then on April 11th as well. Can my dates be that much off or does it sound like the yolk sac and foetus stopped early on?
She did say dates are wrong all the time, but I'm just thinking the worst

@Help1983uk it's sperm meets egg plan - dtd every other day from cd8, use opks and when you get your positive dtd for 3 days then one day off then an extra for luck 🤞 we missed the last one as I was certain when I'd ovulated and it was the heatwave / hottest day ☀ its a bit regimented to dtd on certain days but wasn't too bad.
I was hyper aware of every niggle and twinge. Hope your tww ends positively xx 💜

@VenusStarr I am going to call them on Monday too. I will only be four and a half weeks but Karen at epu told me to call as soon as I found out. Will just see what she says then take it from there. Xx

I did the same @Lindsay93, they were really kind and reassuring too. They told me to call back at 6 weeks and they'll arrange the scan for the same week. Hoping they'll offer Thursday or Friday as I'll be 6+3/4 by then. Hopefully you'll have similar xx

@Lindsay93 That's wonderful news congratulations! So with regards the the epu, I only seen them last time through a referral from a private scan, if we've had complications before, can we bypass our doctors surgery and call them ourselves direct for early scans?

It didn't happen for me on the last cycle, I'm now at the beginning of my 3rd cycle after the MC and I'm hoping this month will be the one. I found I missed my OV day by 4 days in my last one - my cycle is all over the place as are my temps. So I'm finding I OV around 3 - 4 days after my positive opk, but atleast I know now xx

Just before my second MC I ended up in hospital with a swollen and poisoned finger. (Midwife was concerned and sent me to A&e ) While I was in hospital I started bleeding.. but initially I was referred from a private scan too because they couldn’t find anything in the scan. The midwife told me though, that as soon as I fell again I was to call her straight away and she would keep a close eye on me. There are there to help you though so I think you can self refer. It’s no harm in calling them just to find out. Fingers crossed next cycle is the one for you ❤️ Xxx

I ovulated a week earlier this month so I'm currently in my 2 week wait - I think I've missed it again though lol, as I didn't expect it and decided to go on a big bank holiday day / night out partying! Xx

@VenusStarr I have my scan on the 12th but I have been and had my bloods checked and so far so good. Just so anxious waiting for these next two weeks. Fingers crossed everything is good for you xx

Hi both @Help1983uk @Lindsay93 it's not good news for me, looks like I'm having my second missed miscarriage 💔 only measuring 5 weeks and should be 7, no heartbeat. Got to go back in 2 weeks for another scan to confirm. Absolutely devastated. Its my 36th birthday today as well 😢

@VenusStarr I'm so sorry to hear that. Fingers crossed that the dates are just wrong - that could easily be the case.

If this has happened again, hopefully they'll look into the reason why?

Hey @Help1983uk, still waiting. The ironic and most heartbreaking thing is if I hadn't had the early scans, I would be feeling really quite confident about the pregnancy. Zero negative or worrying signs. The GP has signed me off until after my scan next week. How's things with you?
@Lindsay93 sorry you're feeling under the weather. My next scan is next Friday, so just in limbo until then. Xx

No, no bleeding or cramping @Lindsay93 feeling quite pregnant. Dh is holding onto hope that the scan will be positive next week. I think it will have shown some growth but no heartbeat so we'll still be in limbo as they won't intervene if there's growth. I don't even know what I want, I don't want them to intervene but how long will my body try to keep the pregnancy going? 😔 Xx

@VenusStarr that’s a good sign then. Hopefully it was just too early to spot a tiny little heart. I have my scan next week too fingers crossed everything is fine this time round as I am feeling very pregnant also. Has the hospital not taken any blood from you to make sure your bloods are rising? That’s what they had done with me and on both occasions they were rising. Xx

No bloods @Lindsay93 because my first scan showed a potential ectopic pregnancy alongside the uterine pregnancy so it would skew the results. There was growth between the first scan and the second but not enough and the mass by by ovary had gone. Next week is just a formality to confirm it's not progressing.

@VenusStarr I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you - I def think you've got a good chance that everything is okay. Make sure you're looking after yourself this try to be as positive as you can xxx I'm well thank you, I had a dot of red blood on some tissue this morning, 3 times, and then nothing after - I thought I was out this month, but I'm starting to wonder if this might be Implantation? The remainder of the day I've had watery milky cm (tmi sorry), which stretches a little which is odd for me as I'm approx 10/11 dpo. Going to test on Friday which happens to be on my bday so I'm hoping for maybe a double celebration.
Did you ladies notice any cm changes leading up to your bfp?

Thank you for having hope @Help1983uk but it wasn't meant to be 💔 I'm OK though. I'm seeing our fertility doctor on Tuesday and hoping that the fact both babies stopped developing at the same stage gives them some insight into what might be going on.

@Help1983uk fingers crossed that it is your time now. I didn’t notice any changes in all honesty I just used the ovulation kits and they seemed to work for me.. @VenusStarr I am so so sorry sending you hugs. The exact thing happened to me as well both times where babies stop developing at roughly same time. :( please have faith and be strong. I am doing ok yes, I had a urine infection and that’s why I wasn’t feeling good. Have my scan on Thursday and I’m dreading the worst, everything seems to be ok though no signs of anything which shouldn’t be. Just don’t want to get my hopes up though. Xx

Did you ever have any tests or answers following your second mc? I'm not sure if we should keep ttc or have some investigations? I know no-one can tell us what's the right thing to do but knowing you've concieved again does give me hope ❤️ let me know how you get on this week xxx
