@Feelingsolow12345 Thinking of you, hope it's okay news and they manage to get your pain under control x

Littleseed · 26/03/2019 11:56

You're welcome @BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil Grin and I hope your next scan shows more positivity!

Oh no, that's excruciating pain @Feelingsolow12345. Sad did they give you morphine for it?
Hopefully your scan will show it's a cyst and not ectopic!

Mintypea5 · 26/03/2019 11:56

Early scan done! Blob and heartbeat seem abdominally measuring roughly 6+3/4. I'm 7 weeks by LMP so they said dates tie up great no concerns. Might find my dates catch up.

I've spent so much time at our local epu over the years both happy and sad so I always find it an emotional day after a visit

Hope everyone is well!!

Mintypea5 · 26/03/2019 11:57

@Feelingsolow12345 thinking of you lovely xx

Lozzlepop · 26/03/2019 12:00

@Feelingsolow12345 Fingers crossed for you lovely! Hope you are doing ok ❤️

Littleseed · 26/03/2019 12:01

Haha @Mintypea5 ! Grin Did you manage to slip off to bed while your husband was watching the football?
I'm sure he'll understand you're exhausted!

Aww, but still, even if this'll be your third- like you said, you've been there for 10 years! that's a very long time! It's sad that we have to be made to feel reluctant, hesitant, anxious about telling them- when in reality, it is your right and no-one has the authority to question why you "conceived so soon" or to question you otherwise!

Littleseed · 26/03/2019 12:09

Aww, that's so great to hear @Mintypea5!! Flowers
I can imagine the emotions running through you now.
Lovely news though! xx

Booking in app done this morning- all very simple and straight forward for us! She said it was nice to have me and OH both be such easy and simple as the first appointment of the day which was nice 😀

Mentioned the slight bit of brown spotting I had a few weeks ago - she said absolutely nothing to worry about and it's very common. I did say had I been a Normal person it was so little and pale I probably wouldn't notice but I examine every wipe with a fine tooth comb. 😂

I'll just wait to hear back if anything comes up in my urine/blood. I suspect I may be put on iron but we'll see. She sees no reason why I shouldn't stay midwife led which I'm really happy about as I'd really love a water birth I think, we'll see! Plenty of time to think about that.

Just got to wait till Friday for our first private scan I can't wait, fingers crossed everything is fine but it's nice to be reasssured by a professional and she was super lovely too!

Vesta22 · 26/03/2019 13:06

Hello, can I join you? Just scraped in here with EDD 28.11.2019!

Bella1989 · 26/03/2019 13:49

Symptoms are hitting me hard today. So tired & nauseous! 6 weeks today! My mifwife is booking me in for am early scan at 9 weeks due to my miscarriage at 8 weeks last time. These next 3 weeks are going to drag!
Hope everyone is well!

Chels220210 · 26/03/2019 13:55

Hi all.
I am quietly joining in. I think I am 6+4 I have another scan tomorrow Morning. I had one last Wednesday but due to not seeing much plus no heartbeat they want me back for another scan tomorrow. It has been the longest week ever. I have previously miscarried two years ago. I am hoping this is my rainbow baby. I have really bad sickness and fatigue. All symptoms are better then the last pregnancy. I have worked out from my last scan my due date of 14/15/16 anyone else the same???

Mintypea5 · 26/03/2019 14:08

@Chels220210 good luck for tomorrow lovely. It's such a scary wait but fingers crossed you'll see that rainbow 🌈

@Littleseed I went to bed during the 2nd half Grin

Mintypea5 · 26/03/2019 14:10

Welcome @Vesta22. Lovely to have you with us Thanks

I know it's a little early but does anyone else know if they'll be consultant lead already? I think I will be due to Positive stepB test in my last pregnancy. They said due to that in my next pregnancy unlikely I'll be allowed to be midwife lead

Littleseed · 26/03/2019 14:29

@Mintypea5 well done for holding out until the second half! Grin
Does being consultant led mean that you'd be seeing the consultant more than the midwife?

Littleseed · 26/03/2019 14:31

That's lovely to hear @thumper59. Smile It is lovely to be reassured. Not long left until your Friday scan either. Grin

Feelingsolow12345 · 26/03/2019 14:52

Baby is where it should be and beating away. I burst out crying. They don't know why I'm in pain so sending me home with pain relief

Pollypocket5 · 26/03/2019 15:04

@Feelingsolow12345 Fantastic news!! So happy for you!!!

Chels220210 · 26/03/2019 15:07

@Mintypea5 thank you. I am sure all will be fine but dreading them words. X

tigsyboo · 26/03/2019 15:09

@Feelingsolow12345 I'm so so so pleased for you!!!!!
That's fantastic news 💕

Mintypea5 · 26/03/2019 15:10

@Littleseed I didn't really see my consult much last time just towards the end but it meant I had to give birth on the delivery ward of the main hospital no birth centre or water births for me. I need antibiotics during the labour to help stop strepB passing to baby.

@Feelingsolow12345 awwwww yes!!! So glad it's ok. Hope the pain relief helps and you get some rest xx

Sessy19 · 26/03/2019 15:26

Got a bit of anupset tummy this afternoon, and a bit of brown staining. I’m hoping this is the last of whatever happened on fri, but when does one seek any support just in case??? I’m not booked in with the MW yet, got an appt on mon for that. She told me to go to A&E if I had any bleeding or pain before our apt, but I don’t know if it feels that serious yet....but I’m not sure....?! 🤷‍♀️

Mintypea5 · 26/03/2019 15:35

@Sessy19 do you have the number for your local epu? If not it's usually finable on google. They're prob best placed to offer support and advice. I've found in the past a&e not very helpful

Sessy19 · 26/03/2019 15:38

Thank you @mintypea5. I’ll look it up and ask xx

Littleseed · 26/03/2019 17:43

Oh, so that's the difference then @Mintypea5 .
I have no idea what to expect in that sense.
When are you seeing your MW?
When you had DS baby, did you have an app from your MW?
You don't get papers or folders now, and get an app on your phone instead! On there it lists who will be taking care of you.

Littleseed · 26/03/2019 17:45

Wonderful news @Sessy19! Flowers
Some EPU's don't allow you to self refer and a referral must be put through by either the midwife or GP, so if you find out that tha's the case with your EPU, maybe you can call your GP surgery and ask if the doctor can refer you?
