@Sessy19 OH my god! Oh I'm so happy for you. I just told DH and he went "yesssss" and did a little fist pump 😂. Massive hugs lady xxx

Mintypea5 · 25/03/2019 19:55

@Littleseed I've been there 10 years so if this one works out my 3rd maternity and I plan on taking a year 🙈 but they've had their pound of flesh and blood from me in all those years so it's well deserved. I wasn't quiet expecting to get pregnant straight away when we started trying again I figured like other tones it would take a little while or we'd have some issues.

I'm sooooooooooo tired! I've just got the kids in bed and all I want to do is sleep. DH is watching the football so I figure I can go to bed without him thinking I've turned into a 90yr old woman Grin

WombatStewForTea · 25/03/2019 20:18

@Sessy19 what wonderful news so happy for you!

Those who've had early scans, how far along were you? I'm debating going for one. The cramping pain I'm feeling isn't going anywhere so far. I'm still way too early at 5wks but thinking of booking one around 7 weeks if I'm likely to see something

Aph413 · 25/03/2019 20:22

@WombatStewForTea mine is booked for nearly 3 weeks from now at 8 weeks. I wanted to have one at 6 weeks so badly but I've held off and booked it for after 8 in hopes of seeing more

ChesMum2019 · 25/03/2019 20:35

@WombatStewForTea I had a scan at 6weeks 6days saw heartbeat etc again at 8 weekish. I'd say if you can hold out the 8 weeks is much better in terms of what you can see as the earlier one is pretty much a blob. I've another scan at 10ish weeks on 2nd April before the regular scan at 12 due to being under the recurrent miscarriage unit. This baby will come out camera ready

Mintypea5 · 25/03/2019 20:43

@WombatStewForTea at 6 weeks you would hopefully see a blob and a heartbeat although they advise waiting until 8 weeks of you can to see more.

I'm due my early scan due to recurring miscarriages tomorrow. I'll be 7+1 from LMP so hoping to see a blob & heartbeat

Chanel05 · 25/03/2019 21:21

@WombatStewForTea I've just come back from my early scan and they dated me at 6+0. I saw a little blob and a lovely heartbeat 😊.

WombatStewForTea · 25/03/2019 21:28

Thanks guys as long as I see a blob and a heartbeat I'd be happy. Will try to hold off to 8 weeks but don't think I'll manage!!

Aph413 · 25/03/2019 21:47

@WombatStew lucky for me I'm far enough away from the scan places that I've got to hold off. Else I'd be in there weekly!

AcatcalledGary · 25/03/2019 21:50

@WombatStewForTea mine today was 6+4 but sonographer dated me 6+5. Blob and heartbeat x

WombatStewForTea · 25/03/2019 22:33

@Aph413 There's one 15min from home that does evenings and weekends so this could be bad Blush

JoJoSaysHello · 26/03/2019 06:04

I have my first scan tonight - very early 6w1d or 6w3d depending on which app I use to work it out! - but I can't wait any longer due to pain and other concerning symptoms. I'm cautiously excited... Will let you all know the outcome!

TrashKitten10 · 26/03/2019 06:25

@Sessy19 So pleased it all turned out okay. Good proof to all those worrying about bleeding that it's not necessarily a bad sign.

@tigsyboo Lovely scan photo, you must be so pleased.

@Pollypocket5 I don't think it's any cause for concern if things look okay. You may have ovulated later than you thought or the egg could have taken a while to implant. Or things might just catch up a bit in your later scans :) glad it was positive news for you

@Mintypea5 @JoJoSaysHello good luck with your scans today :)

@Chanel05 @AcatcalledGary Great news on your scans!

It's scan central in here this week! I've got mine booked for Saturday when I'll be 7+6 and I'm getting steadily more nervous, especially as my symptoms haven't been so strong today and yesterday. Hoping to get some reassurance,

Sessy19 · 26/03/2019 06:35

Thanks everyone, it’s been quite the rollercoaster this weekend. I had no idea that one could bleed so heavily and STILL be pregnant. It’s incredible!

On a slightly different note, all you ladies who are suffering exhaustion: are you going to bed early then waking up early??? I am in bed by about 9 each night, but morning sickness is waking me up at about 4am which is particularly inconvenient. I’m bloody shattered!

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 26/03/2019 07:07

@Littleseed Thankyou!! Star nurse said its no a done deal yet and not to take it for granted because not out of the woods yet, but someone forgot to tell my face that because I cant stop smiling! Grin

@Sessy19 yes! for the past couple of weeks I have to be in bed early, the earlier the better. Then Im up at 5ish. Im in college and coming up to exams so this has meant Ive had to restructure all my studying. Im enjoying the lovely Spring mornings, but feel a bit tragic that from about 5pm onwards I am fantasising about my pyjamas Blush

Feelingsolow12345 · 26/03/2019 07:27

Hey all, I've been a bit quiet the last week. Sickness has ruled my life and now I'm currently in hospital with either a suspected ectopic or ruptured cyst. In so much pain it's unreal.

Pollypocket5 · 26/03/2019 08:09

@Feelingsolow12345 So sorry to hear that! Fingers crossed for you. X

Pollypocket5 · 26/03/2019 08:10

@TrashKitten10 Thankyou, I have read it's quite normal so hopefully everything is ok. Just got to wait now till the 7th May until my next scan.

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 26/03/2019 09:31

Oh no Feelingsolow12345. I really hope you are seen quickly and that there’s something they can do. It sounds horrible Flowers.

Sessy I am really struggling with exhaustion. I’m going to bed early, but am awake for most of the night (either kids keeping me awake, or needing the loo, or sickness or general anxiety). I’m feeling so ill today from it all I’m working from home...but having to solo parent two toddlers tonight and am dreading it.

WombatStewForTea - I had a scan at 6+3. It was good because I wanted to make sure it wasn’t an ectopic, and we were lucky and saw a heartbeat, but I would have liked it to be a week or two later to see a little more. It’s so difficult knowing when to go!

Feelingsolow12345 · 26/03/2019 10:22

Was sent in at half 4 yesterday afternoon, waited 3 hours to be told I need to see a gyno waited till 8 to be told I need to stay in then at half 10 told I wasn't having a scan till tomorrow and can't eat till I've had my scan so I'm hangry and got a headache. not a happy bunny. Good job my partner put some films on our tablet and brought it in for me

tigsyboo · 26/03/2019 10:43

That sounds awful @Feelingsolow12345
Hope you are ok xx

Lozzlepop · 26/03/2019 10:52

@Sessy19 we go to bed at 10pm (my normal time) as we have to get up at 6 to leave for work and guaranteed every night i wake 4 hours after I go to sleep cos I need the toilet, then I struggle to get back to sleep. Last night I went to bed early and sure enough was up at 1:30am dread to think what ill be like at 9 months lol!

JoJoSaysHello · 26/03/2019 11:02

@Feelingsolow12345 Sorry to hear this. I hope you have answers soon! Keep us all updated Thanks

Feelingsolow12345 · 26/03/2019 11:09

Should have my scan soon. Well that's what they said

Pollypocket5 · 26/03/2019 11:37

@Feelingsolow12345 Goodluck, keep us updated.
