@tigsyboo thank you for your reply! I wish I could try actimel but I'm lactose intolerant 😔 although it probably would do wonders for the bloat! 😂

Anyone else's hormones getting the better of them?? I am so nauseous and I've just had the biggest cry because there is nothing in the house that I can face eating but I'm so hungry. I know it's silly & I should help myself and go to the shops but I have no energy to do anything.... so I cried a lot whilst knowing I was being irrational. Oh dear Confused

Yeoooooooo · 07/04/2019 11:03

@FirstTimeMama91 I’m so sorry to hear this. Look after yourself

L0ULEW · 07/04/2019 11:11

JoJoSaysHello I've had days like this. Just eat anything you can stomach. I've forcedv myself a few times and have felt a million times better for it. Now I'm eating about 6/7 times a day but really small portions rather than any meals if you like. Is making me feel alot better x

Mintypea5 · 07/04/2019 11:54

@JoJoSaysHello my hormones are a mess

Thought it would be a great idea to spring clean ... my backs now in agony Sad

Sessy19 · 07/04/2019 16:11

Can anyone reassure me please, or otherwise!!! If all I eat is porridge and fruit with maybe some dull carbs and the odd plate of veg, but I am also keeping my seven seas pregnancy 2 vits down, is my intake covering everything baby needs or am I still massively compromised?

Pamplem00se · 07/04/2019 16:20

Baby will be fine. It takes everything first. You might end up struggling a bit though! But it's only a short period and it's a case of eating what you can manage x

Sessy19 · 07/04/2019 16:33

I honestly never thought I would be capable of such s restricted diet! It’s mental!!

nickyXjayno · 07/04/2019 16:43

hia I'm joining at just over 6 weeks according to my lmp.
this will be my second, first time around was near 8 years ago so pretty much forgotten what it was like first time around!
Anyone else in same boat with a big gap?

thumper59 · 07/04/2019 17:00

@FirstTimeMama91 I'm so sorry, take care 💕

I had an amazing day yesterday, felt fab all day! Had a lovely day out with my best friend. Today I feel shit! Nauseous all day and totally wiped out

babybear1127 · 07/04/2019 17:27

Hi everyone - I’m feeling so down today. It’s so hard not telling anyone, I’m feeling very isolated. Can anyone else relate to this? I just feel exhausted and sad. And also really guilty for not feeling happier and excited. :-( I was off work most of last week because I just felt so weak and nauseated all the time, but I’ve got to go back tomorrow and I’m dreading it. Help!

TrashKitten10 · 07/04/2019 17:54

@thumper59 I've had the same! Really good day yesterday with barely any nausea and today I've been sick twice and felt queasy for the entire day. Every time I think I might be coming out the other side it gets me again.

@babybear1127 Its a rough ride isn't it :( I also had last week off feeling awful but thankfully now have two weeks holiday. Could you go to your doctor and ask them to sign you off? I think we've all felt the guilt about being down but don't beat yourself up. We are very lucky to be pregnant but can still feel rubbish about hideous sickness and exhaustion.

babybear1127 · 07/04/2019 18:10

Thank you. It’s so hard! I just think the expectation is that we should all be walking around all serene and giddy with excitement. All I can think is that I want my life back! I do feel very lucky to be pregnant though, so it’s all a bit confusing. I think I’m going to give work a try tomorrow and see how I get on. The idea of doing 5 days just doesn’t seem possible, I managed Monday last week and then hit the deck. Thanks for replying. I’ve also got the most wonderful husband (he is honestly a dream) but it’s not the same as talking to other people in the same boat. X

Mintypea5 · 07/04/2019 18:18

@babybear1127 it's hard in the early week! We've been fooled for years by tv and film into think pregnancy is this wonderful magical time where you just glow and feel so excited and happy. In reality you're emotions are all over the place, tired, achey, grumpy, worried about all the symptoms or lack of can't tell anyone why.

I reckon I looked like a right miserable cow yesterday to our family. I was really quiet and at one Point started crying Blush

Pop1234 · 07/04/2019 18:45

I'm with you all ok feeling a bit down in the dumps and feeling rubbish. I have my early scan this week and I'm dreading it. I've never had a good outcome so far in EPU so really not looking forward to it Hmm
