@TrashKitten10 I am just now able to face another cuppa, I honestly feel ill every time I think about it 🤢not really helping with the morning sickness!

@Mintypea5 how was the first day back at work?

@happilyevernever congratulations, welcome to the thread we are a nice friendly bunch and everyone is really supportive!

Currently sat at my desk trying to fight the nausea, the struggle is real, someone is having a blackcurrant lemsip and its making me want to gag! A nice welcome into week 6 🤢

happilyevernever · 04/04/2019 08:59

Thank you @Lozzlepop I have nausea really bad too, every smell is making me feel sick.

LittleAndOften · 04/04/2019 11:03

Morning all, just back from my second scan. I'm relieved to say that baby has doubled in size and has a strong heartbeat Grin 8 weeks 5 days and measuring 21mm. Due date is 10th November which is bang on with my calculations. So relieved!

RainhamRosie · 04/04/2019 11:08

Hi all, I've been lurking on this board for a little while but wanted to be part of it. Due date is 17th November. I'm 7weeks 4days and I'm so ravenously hungry it's unreal. If I'm not eating I'm nauseous. Very worried I'm going to be the size of a whale before the 2nd trimester. Had early scan on Tuesday and pleased to report all looking good with a strong heartbeat.

I was so relieved it wasn't all in my head!

L0ULEW · 04/04/2019 11:20

@LittleAndOften Aww congratulations I haven't had one scan yet. Waiting for my 12 week appointment to come through but by my calculations I'm 8+3 due 11th Nov ❤️

@RainhamRosie hey hun :) I know what you mean I'm sure I already have a tiny bump can't work out if it's a food baby, real baby or twins 😂🤯

LittleAndOften · 04/04/2019 11:28

@L0ULEW thank you. We have v similar due dates! I had early scans because of my history. I feel a little more confident in this pregnancy each time I get a positive update. 12 weeks is the milestone after which I feel I'll be able to relax much more.

@RainhamRosie welcome Smile I think my bump is all bloat!!

L0ULEW · 04/04/2019 11:39

@LittleAndOften stay positive I'm sure the little jelly bean will be here in no time to meet their mummy in November as planned :) I tried to ask for an early scan as I'm just being impatient but they won't give me one boo. I'll just have to wait a little longer

Pollypocket5 · 04/04/2019 12:42

@LittleAndOften Did your dates change at all between scans?

I cannot stop eating sweet stuff. For me that's very strange as Ive never had a sweet tooth. I'm hoping my baby won't be too big. I'm only 5ft but my DP is 6ft 5

LittleAndOften · 04/04/2019 12:51

@Pollypocket5 no they were exactly the same. They did say the due date might be revised at the 12 week scan, but not at this stage as it's too early.

Mintypea5 · 04/04/2019 13:40

@LittleAndOften that's great news. So happy

@Lozzlepop thanks for asking! It's been ok ... still a bit weird and dreading telling them I'm preggo again

Feeling a bit rough this afternoon. Had a massive freak out I could feel myself bleeding and spent ages wiping over and over to check sure I could see a tinge. Feel slightly cray Blush

LittleAndOften · 04/04/2019 15:43

@mintypea5 thank you!

I'm with you on the obsessive wiping/checking. Bit paranoid maybe, but not crazy. Impossible not to worry!

Lozzlepop · 04/04/2019 15:53

@Mintypea5 I hope all goes well when you do tell them, I think my work will be fine its just trying to figure out who I should tell, I don't really want everyone knowing but I guess they will all find out at some point lol!

Random question but has anyone DTD since finding out? I have zero sex drive atm 😟

QforCucumber · 04/04/2019 16:15

HI again all, think I drop off the thread as it moves so quickly.

Symptoms a plenty here at 9+3. Going to stay with my brother and his gf at the weekend so will tell them then, kind of unfair to go and stay and not let them know (especially if I'm sick hah)

AcatcalledGary · 04/04/2019 16:38

@Lozzlepop we haven’t been near each other since BFP! We talked about maybe doing it this weekend if we are up for it (how romantic!) as we are away for the weekend for our wedding anniversary. Have to say I am slightly worried though, especially after the bleeding I had a couple of weeks ago. Any tips? Lol

AcatcalledGary · 04/04/2019 16:39

@QforCucumber it is a quite fast paced thread, I admit I struggle to remember who is who. Are you on the FB group? I find that easier to keep up with.

QforCucumber · 04/04/2019 16:42

@AcatcalledGary I am, I tend to dip in and out of that too tbh. Between a full time 9-5 and a 3 year old my mind is full haha

@lozzlepop We have a few times but I have apologised for neglecting him and just said that at the moment I prefer sleep haha

cakeordeath89 · 04/04/2019 16:45

@QforCucumber I asked my DH if he would mind waiting until we've had our early/private scan. Just want to make sure everything is ok first, I know it sounds daft. Plus my nausea and tiredness has been pretty bad this week so had no desire at all.

Lozzlepop · 04/04/2019 16:46

@AcatcalledGary snap we haven't even tried, I am feeling a bit anxious over it all as I had some bleeding last time we DTD (which turned out to be around implantation time) but I might just have to put my big girl pants on and get on with it! Thats so nice that you are away this weekend, maybe just take it as it comes and dont put any pressure on yourselves!

@QforCucumber haha dont we all! I never got my nap last night so looking forward to getting one tonight then I might see if i am up for giving it a go

jacquesjacques · 04/04/2019 16:55

@Lozzlepop putting your big girl pants ON might be a hindrance when it comes to DTD to be honest Grin

thumper59 · 04/04/2019 17:04

@Lozzlepop we've DTD twice since finding out. I've had slight blood both times ( literally imagine if you knick yourself and dot some tissue on it, that's the best I can explain) I panicked first time but everything was fine on our scan and it was only that small bit, same the second time. Although it hasn't put me off I can't think of anything I'd rather not do then the deed atm. Between the exhaustion and nausea my sex drive is absolute 0! I know OH was worried about dtd at first, I thought he wasn't attracted to me anymore so had a cry about it ( ha! Hormornes) and he explained he was just worried about doing anything that could potentially harm the baby but I assured him it was absolutely fine!

Sessy19 · 04/04/2019 17:10

Been trying for OHs sake, but mostly help him with a bit of self-management since I’m bleeding and it’s all a little too obvious!! 😂

MindyMoonstone · 04/04/2019 17:30

We’ve only dtd once since finding out but other things haven’t been off the table either... I actually found my sex drive went up through weeks 4 & 5!! Since I bled on Friday I haven’t felt in the mood though it was totally unrelated... + with the tiredness it’s not exactly been at the forefront of my mind this week 😂

Pollypocket5 · 04/04/2019 17:31

I'm so glad someone else mentioned this. I've had 0 sex drive and feel like I'm neglecting the OH. We use to be quite active but now it's like once a week.

I try and explain to him though that it's because I'm so tired.

Nausea really hit me after work today and was nearly sick all over myself in the car Blush

TrashKitten10 · 04/04/2019 17:33

@Lozzlepop Bless you, so weird how are bodies are so temperamental with foods/smells. As for sex, we have a couple of times and it was pretty uneventful haha. My nipples were weird though and went from their normal pregnancy level of ridiculous sensitivity where just brushing against clothing makes me wince to completely lacking sensitivity whilst we were dtd. Just another pregnancy oddity Hmm

Mintypea5 · 04/04/2019 17:51

@Lozzlepop I'm just worried because I'm only back from maternity this week

We have done it a few times but last pregnancy I had bleeds after sex so we've agreed to hold off until Tri 2

@LittleAndOften Thanks
