Speaking of clothes can anyone offer some tips? My tummy is so bloated I can't bear anything around my waist. I've also put on a dress size so lots of my wardrobe no longer fits. I'm trying to make do with dresses but still have to wear leggings or tights which cut in. I tried some old over-bump leggings but they just cut in higher up! I'm struggling. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Regarding clothing, I’ve already been looking at maternity clothes but not actually bought anything yet. The only thing I may buy soon is a different bra, my boobs feel huge, anyone else thinking they may need to buy a maternity bra? Happy to take my recommendations as I’m new to this!

Generally feel quite frumpy atm, the scales tell me I’ve only put 1kg since my BFP which I find very hard to believe.

Anyone outdoorsy? I’m really struggling to find any decent outdoor clothing for pregnant women, had no idea how hard that would be! Definite gap in the market there.

@acatcalledgary I find anything without an underwire is comfiest. I've got lots of maternity bras from ds 4 years ago but my boobs aren't big enough for them yet. I bought some large crop top bra thingies last week which are nice if you don't need support.

Anyone else sick (literally) of being nauseous but not actually vomiting? I just need a good puke!!! 🤮

I'm usually a flat tummed size 10.... but nothing fit and I look 6 months pregnant I'm soooooo bloated!! Jeggings and tights cutting me right in half and can't even try and wear anything fitted!
I've put half a stone on since bfp (10weeks) but I feel about 2 stone heavier round my belly!!
Really getting me down tbh.
Don't think it's gas, and not massively constipated so just pure bloat! Even my neck worn work pass bumping off my belly when I walk is feeling uncomfortable as it makes contact with my tummy 😩

@tigsyboo I think I'm going to be ordering a job lot of smocks and maxi dresses at this rate. And maybe holdups I've never worn holdups - how do they stay up?

The thing for me is half feeling uncomfortable and half trying to hide it for a few more weeks until I'm 12 weeks

@OhMarnie Yes, I'm with you on that. I've only been properly sick once but feel like throwing up all day everyday. I've taken today off work as I feel so ill, exhausted and miserable. I'm normally a real foodie but currently just eating what I have to to stop the nausea. It's a delicate balancing act though, don't eat enough and the nausea quickly returns or eat too much and I feel too full and thus nauseous. I'm also running out of foods that I can face eating as they all remind me of feeling sick. Can you tell I feel a little sorry for myself today?

@LittleAndOften thanks for the advice. Can you recommend any brands at all? I definitely need support as opposed to a crop top, I’m quite a busty size 10/12, DD cup normally so reckon they’re at least an E right now 😂

Lol, I love how the auto translate thinks my DDs are my daughter! I don’t have any kids just annoyingly big boobs.

@OhMarnie I'm with you!! I've been feeling awful all day at work - on the verge of tears at some points it's been so bad. If I didn't know I was preggers I'd have been phoning in sick, which makes me think maybe it would be okay to phone in sick?? But I can't do that indefinitely!

Came home to find DH had done a full ginger themed shop to try and help, bless him!

Does throwing up actually ease the nausea?

@acatcalledgary for maternity bras I went to a big out of town mothercare and bought a job lot as they have a special lingerie dept. We went when we were visiting relatives in Bristol - there isn't one where we live. I think my other non-wired ones are from sainsburys as I tend to just chuck them in the trolley when I'm there. I should probably measure myself so I have a slight clue... haha.

@JoJoSaysHello I can only use my one bout of actual sickness as evidence but I definitely felt loads better after it. I guess it's like a sickness bug, big relief afterwards and feeling okay but sadly the nausea does return. I think I had in my head that I'd just vomit once in the morning and feel okay after and that would be morning sickness. If only!

If you're really struggling at work then phone in sick. Martyrdom is no good for you or baby. Hopefully it won't be indefinitely as we should all be feeling better in a few weeks I hopefully tell myself

@LittleAndOften I buy tights in a bigger size so they basically go up under boobs! Last throughout pregnancy and much more comfortable! You can get some decent maternity ones too

Hey ladies sorry I've been absent. Hope your all well. We've had the most perfect weekend.

Saw baby on Friday at our scan. All fine! Nice strong heartbeat measuring well, everything is where it should be. Seeing it was amazing, really took my breath away.

We've told grandparents and aunties and uncles it's just been the best weekend. I really wish I could bottle the love we've had around us this weekend so I could relive it!

Nausea is back with a vengeance today! I haven't ate yet, feeling crap! Skins awful, boobs are sore. I'm just generally greasy and rank but my heart is so full with love, that I don't really mind! 💕

@mintypea5 I'm tall so I have tights in the biggest size you can get in normal shops. I I have one pair of maternity tights that I just tried on, and I can't bear the constriction around my middle at all. I wish it was the 80s and I could get Princess Diana style smocks All my maternity clothes are fitted as that's the only style there was when I bought them - everything lycra and snug.

I feel your pain on the boobage gary, Im normally an E/F (size 12/14) and mine seem to have got bigger more full at the top. DP delighted. Me not so much, they hurt.

I dont want to invest in a maternity bra yet so I think Im going to get a good sports bra or wear two supportive crop tops. Whichever is softest.

This is what I envisage soon. Looks comfy...

@AcatcalledGary I've been concerned for the lack of outdoorsy maternity wear. I'm very active and out and about. Haven't seen anything that looks like it would work! I hate leggings 😣

I'm still in leggings and oversized f shirts from DS2! Have to wear real clothes tomorrow for work first day back
