@TrashKitten10 wonderful news! Congratulations xxx

OhMarnie · 30/03/2019 16:29

@TrashKitten10 that's such lovely news!! Hope you can relax a bit now. I've got an early scan later this week, excited but nervous!

Cegbee · 30/03/2019 18:11

Congrats @TrashKitten10, so nice to relieve some of the worry at least!

OhMarnie · 30/03/2019 18:19

Is anyone else concerned that their diet is pretty limited/bad at the mo due to nausea? I normally eat pretty healthily and quite low-carb but recently I just can't face the things I used to eat. Almost had a breakdown in Aldi today because I just couldn't think of anything I wanted to eat. Living off marmite toast, yogurts, babybels and fruit at the mo...

Aph413 · 30/03/2019 18:28

@OhMarnie try not to stress, you should eventually get your appetite back.
I'm existing on plain pasta with cheese and yoghurts, before this I was crazy about healthy food and now I can't stomach it

@OhMarnie the midwives have said to me in past pregnancies just eat whatever you can during tri 1 and in tri2 if you're feeling better then concentrate more on diet etc

LittleAndOften · 30/03/2019 18:34

@ohmarnie It's definitely a struggle. My digestive system has slowed right down (sorry tmi!) but I can't face full dinners. I've bought bags of washed watercress and Spinach and trying to have a handful in a wrap or sandwich each day but I can't usually finish. Are you taking multivitamins?

OhMarnie · 30/03/2019 18:35

Thanks ladies. @LittleAndOften no I'm not but that could be a good idea. At this rate I'm going to have a bump soon, and it won't be a baby! 🐷

WombatStewForTea · 30/03/2019 18:50

Well ladies I'm officially out.
Went to the EPU this morning who confirmed. Not exactly sure what happened as when I got there my urine sample came back negative and when bloods were tested Hcg was very low so they don't know exactly when I miscarried.
Feel a bit silly like was I ever pregnant but I've always had 3 positive digital clear blues and have always had a regular cycle so to be 2 weeks late is unheard of. Onwards and upwards.
Good luck to you all hope the rest of your pregnancies all go smoothly Flowers

Aph413 · 30/03/2019 18:55

Oh @WombatStew I'm so sorry Sad. Don't feel silly about your emotions, I felt exactly the same after an early miscarriage but you were pregnant so take whatever time you need to process this Flowers

@WombatStewForTea I am so sorry to hear this. You have absolutely no reason to feel silly! The positive tests were real and so was your pregnancy. Please don't feel silly or be hard on yourself - I hope you have good people around to support you. Don't be afraid to talk.

OhMarnie · 30/03/2019 19:02

So so sorry to hear this. Don't doubt you were ever pregnant - you were, this one just wasn't meant to be 💐 I know that doesn't make it any easier, look after yourself and be kind to yourself. Sending lots of love xx

Mintypea5 · 30/03/2019 19:07

@WombatStewForTea don't feel silly. It's a really sad time so be kind to yourself and take time to process and grieve. Sending lots of love. So sorry for you xx

TrashKitten10 · 30/03/2019 19:31

@WombatStewForTea So sorry for your loss. Take time to heal and don't let yourself think this wasn't real.

@OhMarnie My diet is terrible too. Bread and potatoes pretty much 😩 let's hope we get our appetites back soon. Excited but nervous was exactly how I felt before my scan but it quickly transformed into being amazed. Excited for you to have yours soon :)

Yeoooooooo · 30/03/2019 19:41

I’m so sorry @wombatstew look after yourself

keepforgettingmyusername · 30/03/2019 21:38

I lost this thread for a while! Thought everyone had disappeared! So sorry @WombatStewForTea. I've been through this too and it's hard to get your head around. I would plan to take Monday/Tuesday off work at least if I were you. I've always found when having a mc that I get a couple of hours of quite bad pain on day 2/3 while everything passes out. I hope you don't but just to be prepared, you don't want that happening while you're at work Thanks

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 30/03/2019 22:15

@Wombat I’m so sorry Flowers

Happy mothers day everyone 🌹🌹🌹

10+1 today and the last couple of days the all day nausea and sickness has eased off a little and rears it's head around 3/4pm.

12 week scan booked for the 12th April. Yay!

Knickersononeshead · 31/03/2019 15:26

10+2 sorry 😳

Walktwomoons · 31/03/2019 16:15

Happy mother's day all! Yes my nausea has been getting better too and I feel like I'm slowly getting my energy back. Anyone got the super sense of smell yet?

Aph413 · 31/03/2019 16:24

My nausea is slowly kicking in. Feels more like extreme hunger pains though, only realised it was probably morning sickness when I felt like it immediately after eating. Currently having to eat dry cornflakes like popcorn to keep it at bay.

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 31/03/2019 18:05

@walktwomoons I can smell everything. And everyone. Confused
