@Iman77 welcome and congratulations! 😊 probably nothing to worry about but definitely tell your GP or midwife so they can give you something for it/advise what to do. I'm on that with you with the craving unhealthy but at this stage it doesn't matter what you eat as long as you have some food. Try to add some veggies and fruit with the meals if you can.

Babybloom · 28/03/2019 16:12

For you ladies who may be travelling on the underground or train, Hoop.co.uk has done a redesign of baby on board badges. They're so cute!

PyjamasForever · 28/03/2019 16:43

@cakeordeath89 and @jojosayshello I also have the toothbrushing gagging thing. It's terrible. Have to do lots of tiny toothbrushes over the day. Can't gargle mouthwash either because that also makes me gag.

Scan tomorrow morning. Very nervous. Thankfully the bleeding since my car accident has stopped. Police still haven't found the car that crashed into me though, so I guess I'm just going to have to suck up playing the excess.

PyjamasForever · 28/03/2019 16:47

Thanks for telling us about the new design badges @babybloom. I've got my old one, but just ordered a pretty new one.

LittleAndOften · 28/03/2019 16:48

Hi everyone, another day another moan! Grin I'm so fed up with myself. No energy, constant burping and nausea, can't concentrate, really tired. The mw came for my booking appointment today. She's taken my history so many times in the past 2 years she must know it off by heart! I'm trying to take comfort in my strong symptoms that this time we'll get to the finish line.

Anyone else have a football for a stomach? I look about 20 weeks, not 7!

LittleAndOften · 28/03/2019 16:49

@PyjamasForever I'm relieved your bleeding has stopped. What an awful thing to happen. Are you still shaken up?

cakeordeath89 · 28/03/2019 16:51

I almost wished I travelled on public transport just so I could wear a shiny badge in the future :) Such a clever idea.
However, I do not miss the 1 hour train commute I used to do have to do when I was with my ex and had to move to sticks (as a supposed compromise - he had a 20 minute drive..)
I'll sacrifice lack of badge for my twenty five minute drive.

PyjamasForever · 28/03/2019 16:58

@LittleorOften I'm really nervous driving now and cried after getting to work today. Going to pick my little boy up from nursery on foot because I can't bear the thought of doing the same roundabout, even though it's a 1hr round trip on foot.

I too have a giant tummy and look much more pregnant than I am!

cakeordeath89 · 28/03/2019 16:59

@LittleAndOften sorry to hear about your symptoms but also not sorry if it's a good sign! :)

I've been really bloated the last few days, I can only describe it like bubbles?! Like I've drunk loads of fizzy pop (which I don't drink). I seem to be switching between tiredness and insomnia, can't make up it's mind!

@PyjamasForever good news that the bleeding has stopped. Keeping everything crossed for the scan tomorrow.

Babybloom · 28/03/2019 17:00

@PyjamasForever you're welcome 😊 I've also ordered a pink one with red writing. I'm not going to wear it until 12 weeks but I wanted to get my hands on one as I guess it will sell out fast.

@cakeordeath89 aww that's good! I'm not too nauseous yet but I'm quite worried what will happen when morning sickness hits me. I have the sea bands as I get some motion sickness on airplanes so I'm hoping that will be good. 😊

LittleAndOften · 28/03/2019 17:08

@cakeordeath89 just chuckled at your name. I'll have the cake please, even if it gives me heartburn!

My husband has given up on me and just calls me 'sofa slug' which is what I've become! At least I'm not commuting like I was 4 years ago when I was pregnant with ds. I had a 45 min drive and used to throw up on arrival every day. I don't envy those of you having to turn up for work feeling like this.

cakeordeath89 · 28/03/2019 17:13

@LittleAndOften it's a reference to an Eddie Izzard sketch - if you google 'cake or death lego' on youtube, you'll find the sketch done to lego figures - has made me laugh for years for some reason!

Love "sofa slug" - very apt :)
I forced myself to get up doing some washing and have a shower last night but I could have quite easily just done absolutely sweet fanny adam! I found late afternoon is the worst time for tiredness, just have to power through and hope nothing that requires serious concentration crops up at work...

LittleAndOften · 28/03/2019 17:40

@cakeordeath89 I know - I'm a fan. And I know hopscotch Wink

DS just brought me home a little flower arrangement he made at his childminder's. It's the first thing he's ever made me. Niagara Falls! I'm an emotional wreck haha.

ChesMum2019 · 28/03/2019 18:22

I'm feeling pretty horrendous last few days. Topped off by a migraine of all migraines last night so now I'm left with the headache all day along with the "morning!!" Sickness. 10 weeks on Saturday so hoping not to much longer to go. I've yet to tell anyone besides DH so keeping up fake smiles and pretending I'm ok is pretty hard. I have pretty much been a house hermit this week other than school runs. Lucky enough I work for my husband so no pressure.

Pollypocket5 · 28/03/2019 18:33

Sorry to all ladies experiencing strong symptoms. I've also been a bed slob this week. I come home from work and it's straight to bed.

I have my 12 week scan on a countdown and for some reason 39 days seems so much better than 6.5 weeks. Hoping this will help me get through.

Mintypea5 · 28/03/2019 18:36

@PyjamasForever really hope the police catch the person! Glad your bleeding has stopped xx

Is it bed time yet?!

Babybloom · 28/03/2019 18:40

@Pollypocket5 aww not long now! We are due around the same time then 😊

PyjamasForever · 28/03/2019 18:40

I wish it was bedtime @mintypea5. My toddler is very convinced that it's most definitely not bedtime.

thumper59 · 28/03/2019 18:57

We've 4 weeks today until our 12 week scan, tomorrow we have our private early scan and I'm the weirdest mix of excited and nervous. If it all just goes fine and we see a heartbeat I'll be able to relax for the first time in 5 weeks I think!

Aph413 · 28/03/2019 19:07

@Pollypocket5 that's a good way of looking at it. I've got 43 days to 12 weeks. I'm not booking in until the 18th April though so I don't have a scan date yet. 17 days to my private scan. You might be on to something counting in days!

FirstTimeMama91 · 28/03/2019 19:17

15 days until 8 week scan Smile feel sooo bloated I can't even try to suck my tummy in lol living in leggings and baggy tops at the minute

Smiffette · 28/03/2019 19:23

I'll be 9+1 when I have my first MW appointment on Tuesday... I'm hoping the 12 wk scan date will come in fairly quickly after that!
I'm trying not to get too anxious about it but it's hard! Confused

Pollypocket5 · 28/03/2019 19:29

@Babybloom When I went for my early scan they said 18th November, when's your due date?

@Aph413 Anything that will make the time seem quicker!!

Mintypea5 · 28/03/2019 19:34

@Pollypocket5 I'm due 17th by scan and 11th by LMP.

My booking in isn't until the 18th but last time I think I had my scan date within a week so hoping it won't take them long to sort

@PyjamasForever I'm just putting to bed a very tired 9 month old. I've told my 7yr old he can read in bed & turn out his own light so I can lie down early Blush

Babybloom · 28/03/2019 19:35

@Pollypocket5 at the moment 17 Nov but it may get pushed out depending on my next scan.
