@Mintypea5 I'm 17th Nov based on LMP and I think I'll end up being 24 Nov based on scan. At least I was told at the early scan that I'm about a week behind. I don't have my 12 week scan yet, I think I'm going to get it in the post next week. 😊

Pollypocket5 · 28/03/2019 19:44

@Mintypea5 aww I am 18th by scan and 8th by my LMP. At this stage who knows. The baby will come when it's ready I guess.

Babybloom · 28/03/2019 19:50

@thumper59 good luck tomorrow...eeek exciting times!! 😊

@Smiffette I'll be 10 +3 LMP at my first apt which i feel is very late but I'm a week or so behind so should be around 8+3 ish. My hospital does the first apt at 10 weeks.

Mintypea5 · 28/03/2019 20:05

Kids are finally in bed! Relax time Cake

Secretly making a list of names but haven't told DH yet he'll say it's too early Blush adding a few I know he'll veto so I can sneak in others I love Grin

LittleAndOften · 28/03/2019 20:07

Enjoying reading all your due dates. I'm 7th November if I use a 25 day cycle which is what I had for 4 months before my bfp (after my last mc), although not generally the norm for me. If I do 28 days, it's 10th. They didn't give me a due date at my first scan but they did agree I was 6w5d at the time! I've got another scan next week so might get more info then.

The mw told me today that now I'm 40 they won't let me go over my due date and I told them I wanted a vbac (last time was emcs under a GA) . No way am I missing the birth a second time! Is anyone else in this position?

LittleAndOften · 28/03/2019 20:09

@mintypea5 we have names already Smile Although we did for ds and when he arrived he didn't look like the names we'd chosen so dh came up with another on the spot!

Pollypocket5 · 28/03/2019 20:34

@Mintypea5 We have been thinking of names too. It keeps me feeling positive rather than anxious. Trouble is we find one that we like. I think about it for a few days and then go off it.

Mintypea5 · 28/03/2019 20:39

@LittleAndOften we have a boys name but girls is open for debate! We have two boys already so I'm expecting my girls lost worn get a look in. I feel like I'm having another boy.

I've been induced both times. DS1 was 2 weeks late and then DS2 at 38 weeks due to bleeds through pregnancy, reduced movement and placenta degrading / his growth tailing off.

LittleAndOften · 28/03/2019 21:04

@mintypea5 I don't think I know anyone who's had a straightforward birth without intervention. I wonder why that is.

WombatStewForTea · 28/03/2019 21:09

I think I'm going to have to tell my boss next week (I'm a teacher) as I've got to get time off for a specialist appointment linked to pregnancy and that when I come back off my Easter hols (off for two weeks from next Friday) I'm going straight on an adventure residential trip with my class and will need to tell them I'm pregnant and the boss will be there. She's going to be fine but it's just so early

Sessy19 · 28/03/2019 21:11

I’ve got names ready to go 😊
And quite by some miracle, OH has been very on board (suspiciously so, now I come to think of it!)
But I’m pretty convinced I’m having a girl, my spidey senses are telling me that....😊

Sessy19 · 28/03/2019 21:16

@WombatStewforTea, I am in the Army, so I had to tell pretty much everyone I know at work really early on. I’m a pretty open book, and everyone knows we’ve been trying for years (we’re like family I suppose!)
I had a massive bleed at work, and I swear that because they all knew, their positive thoughts for me helped us get through everything. I was initially dubious about saying anything (once one knows, it’s out the bag! 😂), because of how early it was, but I’m grateful now. I do get everyone is different though. I would just tell anyone, saying something early to people you know care about you (some bosses do, I’m sure!) for safety reasons...well, it’s priorities isn’t it x

Babybloom · 28/03/2019 21:21

I've read a great article about that the other day. The author said she first didn't want to tell anyone because of the 12 week thing but then when she was facing issues it would have made her feel better to know there's a support network around her. So for her second pregnancy she told most people as and when she felt to share. The 12 week thing came from the old times when US didn't exist so women had to feel their baby to confirm the pregnancy which is around 12 weeks. That being said I haven't told many people yet either 🙈

WombatStewForTea · 28/03/2019 21:26

Thanks @Sessy19 that makes sense
I've told a couple of really close colleagues. Going with the idea of if something went wrong then I'd be ok with telling them then I've told them

LittleAndOften · 28/03/2019 21:32

@babybloom I felt that way for my first successful pregnancy, but that changed after my first m/c as it was not fun telling the same people that we'd lost it. I kept the next 2 quiet. Having said that, I've had to tell 3 people this time because of my strong symptoms!

Babybloom · 28/03/2019 21:37

@LittleAndOften I think it's the case of each of us is different and will have to do what feels right. I'm sorry about you mcs but now on to a happy and healthy pregnancy! 🤞🏼

LittleAndOften · 28/03/2019 21:40

@babybloom completely agree. Fingers crossed for all of us Smile

Mintypea5 · 29/03/2019 03:46

3am feels like the new 7 am to me! I'll finally get back to sleep and then the alarm will go off Hmm

Putting my insomnia to good use on Pinterest lol

Iman77 · 29/03/2019 04:51

Thanks for welcoming me! Im 10+2 and heavy w symptoms. I now have MUCH MORE respect for mums and pregnancies. I've been tough all my life so feeling this weak n useless is hard.

Im learning much fr you ladies! Smile I hope and pray for a safe pregnancy for all. I am sometimes afraid, bec I hear m/c is often for a first but when I think of the 7 billion people in d world, im reminded the chance of giving birth is much more than a mc. 😊

Babybloom · 29/03/2019 07:57

Morning ladies! I need a bit of help..TMI- my discharge which previously was more white or clear colour has changed to a slightly more yellow tone. It doesn't have any odour or have any other symptoms apart from very slight cramping. Has this happened to any of you? Should I worry?

Pollypocket5 · 29/03/2019 08:13

@Babybloom I am sure everything is ok however you may have a yeast infection which I've heard are quite common during pregnancy due to hormonal changes.

Might be worth giving your midwife a call?

FirstTimeMama91 · 29/03/2019 08:18

Anyone else not been throwing up yet?? Sometimes get a wee sicky feeling but then it passes. I'm 6+1

Babybloom · 29/03/2019 08:20

@Pollypocket5 it changed into a slightly pink colour now. I don't have a midwife yet, in my area I have to go through a long registration so my first apt will be later in April.

Babybloom · 29/03/2019 08:21

@FirstTimeMama91 I'm 6+5 LMP and I haven't been sick yet. It's normal apparently!

FirstTimeMama91 · 29/03/2019 08:23

@Babybloom that's good to know. Suppose we should just enjoy it lol
