Hi everyone

Congrats to you all.

Been reading all of your posts but I have held off posting as I've had 3 miscarriages in the last 10 months. I've joined these before and then ended having to leave due to miscarriage.

I will be due late November so only just coming up to 5 weeks. Has anyone had a sore back in the early stages? It's right at the bottom moves from either side just above my bum. I've got a scan booked at 7 weeks but just wanted to know if anyone else has had back pain. It's not crippling it's just sore feeling.

Babybloom · 27/03/2019 18:14

@jacquesjacques ive had an early one yesterday. I thought I was 6+2 but it turns out I'm probably just 5 or below. They could only see a sac so I've been invited back for another one. Was yours an internal (TV) or standard topic scan? It got me a little that they couldn't see anything but the sac although makes sense if I'm below 5 weeks.

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 27/03/2019 18:14

PyjamasForever - How horrible. What an arsehole to drive off and not even check you’re ok! Did you see the make or colour of the car? The police may be able to look into it (e.g. if any cars matching that description get booked into local garages). I appreciate it’s a long shot though Sad. How are you feeling now? Thank goodness you are all ok.

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 27/03/2019 18:15

Pop1234 I’m so sorry to hear about your miscarriages Flowers. I had really bad back ache in the early weeks. It’s still pretty sore now at almost 8 weeks.

Babybloom · 27/03/2019 18:17

@BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil I've had a similar experience yesterday. I hope all goes well for you in the next scan! I've googled myself crazy. I'm 6 +3 according to NHS but I'm normally ovulating 10-14 days after period so they told me based on measurements I'm 5 weeks or just below. I've pushed out my next scan by 2 weeks as I'm hoping by then I should see a heartbeat as well as pole and yolk sac.

CurrerBell1979 · 27/03/2019 18:23

Hello!

Had a scan today and there was a good steady heartbeat and everything looked good :)

Am 7+2 weeks

Was really nervous because my symptoms have not been that strong I thought so it was so could to see

Had a MC before and this was via IUI so the doctor offered us to come again in 2 weeks for reassuring

Babybloom · 27/03/2019 18:24

@Pollypocket5 don't worry! Have you seen a heartbeat? I've had an early scan booked for yesterday. I thought I was 6+3 but they dated me 5 or just under. So I'm going back as they could only see a sac. I get you, it can be worrying but there is no exact science for this Smile

PyjamasForever · 27/03/2019 18:28

@thegruffaloslovechild I got the first bit of the number plate and the colour. She got out to check i was okay, by which point I was sobbing because my toddler was trapped. I managed to get him out via the front seats and as soon as she saw he was okay she drove off. Bizarrely I've been crying today because I feel bad that if she gets caught she'll be in trouble... but I'm astounded that she didn't hang around long enough to swap details.

How is everyone's nausea doing? I've started taking an antisickness medicine and finally had a day where I only threw up once (despite all the drama!).

jacquesjacques · 27/03/2019 18:33

@Babybloom I have every faith that your little bean will be there next time! Mine was a TV scan, they couldn't find anything abdominally but I do have a bit of a fatter tummy too. I think it's really luck of the draw as to whether they can physically see anything around 5 weeks.

@Pop1234 welcome darling! I too have had 3 MCs since June, so almost identical to you! Mine were 4w, 4+5 and a mmc at 6+3 (discovered at 11+6). I am 6+4 today so you can imagine how nervous I am although I have a good feeling this time. I've had bloody awful backache this time, but it seems to be when I move so think it's muscular. Xx

Babybloom · 27/03/2019 18:36

@jacquesjacques thank you lovely! I'm remaining hopeful too! Smilemine was just a normal topical scan which I've heard isn't as good with picking up things as TV. Good luck and congrats to you too! Smile

Mintypea5 · 27/03/2019 19:00

@Babybloom I'm sure you'll see that little heartbeat next time you go. Abdominal scans aren't great this early. I had my scan yesterday and the lady at the epu was surprised she found something that way for me! But she did an internal to get better view of dates. This early they all develop so differently you may find when you go back in two weeks you're back where you thought dates wise!

@Pop1234 welcome lovely. I've had 3 miscarriages (5w 11w & 12w) so understand the fear. I have sciatica flare ups and back ache all the time in early pregnancy. Its quite common o think while everything moves around

TheGruffalosLoveChild · 27/03/2019 19:34

PyjamasForever - Don’t feel bad. It’s something that she did at least stop, but who doesn’t stick around when they have hit someone...especially with a child in the car. I’m so sorry. Don’t feel bad reporting her. The important thing is that you are both ok though.

OMG my nausea has also been bad. I’ve spent a lot of last night and today gagging. It’s pretty miserable Sad.

BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil · 27/03/2019 19:34

@Babybloom the wait is fecking awful isnt it? If EPU wasnt for emergencies then I swear Id haunt them to get scanned every day until they found something! At least being told you arent as far as you thought you were makes 'sense' and its less panic than the alternative...

@Littleseed did you get seen in the EPU? keeping my fingers crossed xx Flowers

Babybloom · 27/03/2019 19:38

@BananasAreTheSourceOfEvil oh it's awful! I'm over analysing every little symptom or lack of it as a matter of fact Grin I'm the same, I'd be at EUP every day if I could! I guess we need to patient though! Good news that they have found everything normal for you and fingers crossed it long continues until you have a healthy, beautiful baby!

Pop1234 · 27/03/2019 19:41

@TheGruffalosLoveChild thank you that is really reassuring. It is such a worrying time isn't it?

@jacquesjacques @Mintypea5 sorry to hear you two are in a very similar situation to me. Fingers crossed it is our lucky 4th time 🤞have you had any early scans? My MCS were 5 weeks, 12 weeks and 7 weeks. Have you had any tests done?

Mintypea5 · 27/03/2019 19:52

@Pop1234 I had an early scan yesterday dating me 6+3 and by LMP I was 7 exactly so they said it was good and weren't concerned. Heartbeat seen so just have to wait for 12w now. No tests

jacquesjacques · 27/03/2019 19:56

@Pop1234 I had my first clinic appointment booked for this month but got pregnant before it - oops. Grin

jacquesjacques · 27/03/2019 19:57

Anyone else got tits of fire? Mine feel like they're filled with wet sand and lava. Sad

Babybloom · 27/03/2019 19:59

I'm being completely insane now but after they told me yesterday that I'm earlier than I thought and they could only see the sac, I'm getting worried about lack of symptoms. I have an awful cold so I've been coughing a lot and now I have some cramps in my tummy. I've also noticed that either my right boob got bigger than the right (significantly) or the left started to shrink back to pre-pregnancy size. Could this be a miscarriage? I've googled myself crazy now! Sad

Mintypea5 · 27/03/2019 20:15

@Babybloom step away from google lovely. At this stage everything is so small and they develop at different rates. My best friend just had her baby they didn't see anything until she was 7 or 8 weeks. She had a very similar situation to you and when she went back two weeks later it was all there

Symptoms so come and go. And if you're poorly that will be messing with things to. You have my sympathies because I've done the wait and also I'm currently I'll was the worst cough / virus thing ever. Try keep yourself busy until the next scan and stay off google Thanks

Mintypea5 · 27/03/2019 20:16

@jacquesjacques I just took my bra off and omg it felt so good! My boots are nowhere near as sore this time compared to last time but they just felt so uncomfortable 🥵

Aph413 · 27/03/2019 20:20

@Jacquesjacques mine too! I woke up in agony last night with mine, just the pressure from rolling over is enough to wake me up.
@Babybloom I know it's easier said than done but try to relax and just wait and see. Things are so small at this stage

@Mintypea5 thank you my dear! Thanks I'll try to stay away!!

Preggosaurus9 · 27/03/2019 20:31

@PyjamasForever eek drama! I've just taken my first anti sickness pill, prescribed over the phone this afternoon. Spent the day hugging the toilet and crying Sad praying it works.

Pollypocket5 · 27/03/2019 20:36

@Babybloom I am the worse with google. I thought I was 7w+2 and they measured me at 5w+6. I too then worried myself silly. Googling everything.

Unfortunately this is just something that is beyond our control. (I should definitely take my own advise) I really feel how your feeling but we can all get through this vulnerable time together.
