Good luck at your scan today @mrsof20118! We've been given a friend's old pump, which is a Medela. She tried a few and said this was the best one. She also said that Dr Brown's were the best bottles.

That's an adorable set @Crossfitgirl. I've been given the cutest little hat for its but it's tiny baby size so I think I may need to pick up another, just in case.

And congrats to you too @Cookie0508!

@RanchoRelaxo I'm wearing a great big dressing gown, sitting under a pile of blankets and I can still see the baby move. It's so weird and so awesome and watching it never gets old. being kept awake all night is another matter

Cross posted @stormtrooperjulian. Have they done your bloods already? They took mine at my booking appointment a week or so before, which meant I got the results at my scan. I hope you don't have to wait long. Good luck today!

They did my blood test at the scan appointment and I got the combined risk through in the post one week later (week to the day). They said if there is high risk they would usually call within 3 working days so no news is good news xx

I'm 16+3 today and still being sick :( when will the wonderful glow and energy and feel amazing start ladies?!

Bloods will be done at the appointment this afternoon

@EltzBee I’m feeling pretty much back to normal now. DH commented last night that I seemed much better than before, so it must be pretty noticeable that I have more energy etc. Hopefully you’ll be back to feeling good soon!

I think I was about 16/17 weeks when I really noticed a difference @EltzBee. Hopefully it won't be long for you now!

@stormtrooperjulian I hope so!! I've got more energy than I had a few weeks ago but still struggling, the being sick each morning was getting better but it's now worse again, Doh!

Used a days holiday and have today off work (carry over from last year which I needed to use before the end of month). Going to see a friend for a cuppa later and going to tell her the news that we expecting!

Also hoping to pick up the courage to tell my colleagues on Wednesday too if I don't chicken out 😂🤣

@stormtrooperjulian good luck for your scan today. I had bloods taken at 12w scan, and had a letter in the post 2 days later with the results. I was surprised as I was expecting it to take longer. Bloods were sent to Birmingham lab on a Monday, so must have just caught the admin day for letter send outs.

@EltzBee congratulations on the little girl 😊

We have out gender scan this Sunday, very nervous, hope everything is still ok in there 🤞

@GemmaJen thanks Hun! Ooh exciting! It was so much of a relief to see them again :) we have our midwife appt on Thursday so hopefully we will get to hear the heart beat too then!

@ChaosMoon fingers crossed then it did start to improve soon! It will be nice to not want to go to bed at half 7 🤣

I wondered the same about the test results but it sounds like it's a bit luck of the draw how long they take.

Just a quick one: if you were to put your hand in the area just under your right boob, what is there? Since getting bumpy I always feel like something is stuck and it's so irritating! Doesn't hurt just uncomfortable. It's like a want to push an air bubble away. That's the one way I can describe it.

Anyone any ideas or have this?

So annoying just had a letter through to say or scan appointment has been cancelled and they've rebooked it for the afternoon that day, which means now going to miss most of that day for work as it's an hour drive to the hospital, and have to allow at least an hour plus to park! So frustrating as DH works with the US we deliberately booked a morning appointment so we could go before work. Really angry right now and so frustrated!

Congratulations on your little girl @EltzBee. We didn't get to choose a time for ours we just got given one and i would have preferred a morning as I'll be so anxious all day but we've got an afternoon appointment!

Hoping everyone else's scans go well and no one is feeling too rubbish. I'm constantly exhausted. One week tomorrow until next scan.

@canonlyhopexo hoping that DH can rejig his day to still be able to come and in going to have to cancel some meetings I had scheduled for the afternoon too, grr.

@EltzBee I think employees have to allow you to have the time off to go to the appointments so fingers crossed it all works out ok even if a tad annoying!

How's everyone's DP/DH been in terms of helping look at baby bits eg pram bottles sleeping arrangements etc?

So my scan was fine, dated at 13 weeks. Now I’ve just got an anxious wait for the test results!

Will research all those pumps...thanks ladies.

Scan went well today. All parts looked what they deem as normal. Babys head circumference is in the 79th% centile though. I'm only 5 ft 1, hope it doesn't mean the babies massive!
