Does anyone know where to get nice maternity dresses from? I go on holiday end of July and will be around 25 weeks... I love the Katie piper range but it seems to be out of stock everywhere and all the other nice dresses I have seen have been on American sites ☹️ or have sleeves! No time for sleeves on holidays haha

My order of H&M maternity trousers came through today. My god they are so comfy. I'm so glad they did some in my size! I will be ordering some more....

I've also started on the bio oil rubbing. Not sure how much of an effect it's having but it's so nice to sit and rub my belly just before bed. It's quite comforting and bonding ❤️

@thumper59 I need to get a couple of smart evening dresses for our holiday next month too. I looked online at Next but the reviews didn't seem that great?

@Cookie0508 maternity jeans are sooo comfy aren't they! I love mine. I probably should be moisturising my tummy too really but tbh is a already so marked from losing weight and things over the years I'm not sure it'll make much difference! Ah well! I have realised I do want to try and get fitter once baby is here, struggling with energy and getting our of breath in pregnancy had made me miss doing even little things!

@EltzBee Same! I wish i'd got fitter first but perhaps I'll get that from keeping this little one under control. Will certainly be great for my arm strength just carrying it around anyway!

I have got a few nice dresses off boohoo @thumper59 and I think that matalan do some stuff online and last I looked they seemed to be getting more summer stuff so I bet they will have some good day outfits soon :)

Afternoon. Well had an embarrassing lunch time today 😳 popped to Mothercare to look at another couple prams. Whilst we were there came over all hot full on hot flush light headed Doh! Staff were lovely and got me a bottle of water and somewhere to sit but ahh I felt properly like a pregnant woman then. Guess they're used to it lol!! Seeing midwife next Thursday so will mention it then unless it happens again before!

Oh dear @EltzBee, hope you're feeling okay now?

Had my consultant appointment today, so now know the plan going forwards due to low platelets, nothing too scary and took all of 5 minutes. Shame I had to wait 80 minutes, lol. Luckily I was also able to see the midwives who updated my notes and offered to use the Doppler - got to listen to the little squishes heartbeat - first time I've heard it, and such a relief. It was pounding away, though I think they kept wriggling out of earshot 😊 such a relief as I've been worrying a little more with my sickness finally dying down. Definitely worth the wait 😁 Though now the DH is annoyed he wasn't there 🙈

Aww @gemmajen I cried when I heard the heartbeat for the first time. Definitely recording it on my phone next time!
@eltzbee ahh dear its def the joys of being pregnant! I get a lot of light headed feelings now, gotta be careful if I'm standing too long!
I went to next quite early on, there was a heavily pregnant girl manning the changing rooms, I asked her about maternity stuff and she said don't bother, the next stuff is shit! Lol. And she worked there! I'm totally Going to have a look at ASOS, matalan, boohoo and H&m online this weekend so thanks @sunshine1987 @cookie0508 @ranchorelaxo. Don't fit in any of my normal clothes anymore and it is getting me down a bit now as I'm so limited and basically just uncomfy!

I got some good jeans from H&m and a nice shirt and some leggings today. Looking forward to getting some more summery stuff.
Also need to get an Asda hoodie still - whoever it was that suggested that!

Well that was a whirlwind! Trust your instincts ladies! After begging to be allowed into hospital even though they kept telling me my contractions weren't close enough, I got there only to be told I was 9cm dilated! 😬 Baby Scarlett was born 45 minutes later without any painkillers! She's perfect and we're both doing well ❤ 6lbs 6oz of perfection

Thank you all! We are so in love ❤ @GemmaJen it wasn't fun, I was in absolute agony and getting LOTS of pressure in my bum and they tried to say I was still in early labour! Try almost fully dilated! But she's worth it ❤

I hope you're feeling better now @EltzBee. I'm sure it's nothing but definitely not what you want when shopping. I know what you mean about getting fit. I've never been this for in my life! I think I've been relying far too much on yoga and my stamina has vanished! Just started mat leave and got a one month gym pass. I won't be able to do a lot but hopefully a little bit of gentle exercise every day will get me a bit fitter for the birth. And I hope you're right about the arms @Cookie0508, because mine have wasted away to nothing!

I'm glad they have a plan for your platelets @GemmaJen. And it's magical hearing that heartbeat isn't it? The jealousy is why DH always comes to my appointments. At the last one he got them to teach him how to feel which bit of baby was which.
