Thanks @delilah7 @mrsr16 @thumper59. I felt a bit silly after, but very glad I went, the movements have been so different and much stronger now than they were the other night, so I'm confident I did the right thing.
@chaosmoon I can't believe she's over 3 weeks old already! That has flown! Sounds a bit painful but glad you are getting on OK and recovering. Nobody talks about down there much after birth so it's good to know it's normal to still be sore a few weeks on. I've started getting much more reliant on the dream genii at night, hardly slept last night! Just couldn't get comfy! Only another 15 weeks to go... Lol. How are you getting on with feeding etc? Are you getting out of the house? Xx

thumper59 · 02/05/2019 18:19

@Crossfitgirl always better to be over cautious I say!

@ChaosMoon that's gone so quickly!!

Just got our 20 week scan through for the 18th June. Can't wait!

Delilah7 · 02/05/2019 18:30

Been at hospital since9:30/3:30.
Had to speak to a doctor etc.
Two of my levels were fine but the one that was raised before ( ALP) was higher AGAIN. In the 800s. So doctor came and spoke to me about what the plan is as she was concerned.
I’m to be monitored and bloods every week at hospital. I have had special tests done today to see what other viruses it could be ( none of them are very nice and quite concerning ) and I’m also to have a liver scan in a couple of weeks time. My blood pressure was abit high but little
Mans heart seemed to be working fine and all ok. Xx

ChaosMoon · 02/05/2019 22:12

Oh my god, I meant she's put on 11 oz, not 11lb! Can you imagine? She'd be huge! 😂😂😂

I know what you mean about people not talking about things down there @crossfitgirl. I don't think that helps anyone though.

I'm making a point of getting our every day now and I feel so much better for it. Even if it's only a half hour to the supermarket or midwife. We're actually away in a B&B in the South coast at the moment though. We wanted to see if we could do it!

The feeding is sometimes stressful, but also wonderful and slowly getting easier. It's still occasionally painful, but nothing like it was at the start. And already, I feel like the ease of being able to feed whenever, without runner it preparation means I think it's worth it.

I'm glad you're feeling better today @MrsR16. And do you know what? I'm fairly sure that worrying about your pregnancy is itself a pregnancy symptom!

@Delilah7 that's sounds so stressful, no wonder your blood pressure is high. I completely understand your lack of trust in the hospital with your family history but hopefully they've learned from their mistakes and will take better care of you. It's certainly good they've caught this now, even if you have had to push for it. I hope you get some answers, and a plan of action, soon.

MrsR16 · 02/05/2019 22:22

@Cookie0508 @ChaosMoon thanks ladies 😘 I love being able to chat to you about stuff that I have no idea about! This is a whole new journey and I don't know where it's gonna end up! Other than the fact I get a beautiful little one at the end of it 😂 even DH appreciates you guys! He said to me when I had the bleed the other day, "Have you spoken to your ladies about it?" Bless him... xx

MrsR16 · 02/05/2019 22:24

Also congrats on your little boy @stormtrooperjulian, welcome to team blue 💙 I think the boys are in the lead at the moment? Can't wait to see pics of all our little ones this summer!

So still struggling with my sugar levels, up and down 🙄 but feeling better mentally.

Glad you and little one are doing well @ChaosMoon 😘
Sending lots of love @Delilah7 you are doing great! I know you're having a tough time with your health etc so just wanted to say we are all here! Glad little man is doing okay!
Are you having growth scans with him? xx

MrsC87 · 03/05/2019 10:32

What will your Due Dates be girls? @Fivebyfive2 @Tropicana1 how are you feeling?

Delilah7 · 03/05/2019 10:39

@MrsC87 thanks my darling. Glad you're feeling better mentally hun... sometimes that's more important that physical!
I haven't as of yet I guess it just depends on what the tests come back and say.. xxx

EltzBee · 03/05/2019 10:44

Congratulations @Fivebyfive2 & @Tropicana1!

Currently sitting at the doctor's surgery waiting to be seen. Yesterday lunch time I nearly fainted, went over all light headed and boiling hot and flashing white lights, sitting down didn't help so had to lie on the floor. We were trying to order our nursery furniture at the time 🙈

Rang GP this morning as wasn't sure if it was just one of those things (it has happened a few times before now), and they said I should come in to be seen today so waiting now. Feel fine today but better to be safe than sorry.

@tropicana1 congratulations! How are you feeling?

@EltzBee what did the dr say?

@Delilah7 that sounds so stressful! At least the drs at taking it seriously now.

MrsR16 · 03/05/2019 13:38

@Fivebyfive2 @Tropicana1 great to see you ladies here! 😘 xx

Delilah7 · 03/05/2019 13:39

@stormtrooperjulian they seem to be x x

EltzBee · 03/05/2019 14:41

Got on okay with GP, she thinks it was probably that my blood pressure did just drop for some reason and one of those 'pregnancy things' that can happen, but baby all fine. She checked the heartbeat too as I hadn't felt baby this morning, she could hear baby moving and feel her kicking off the probe, even though I could barely feel anything (placenta is at the front).

She's asked for some extra bloods done too just in case to check my iron and things haven't got any lower - they were good last time, just my B12 that was borderline (taking extra) so got those next Thursday. Blood pressure was fine (same as last time) although my pulse was a little on the higher side.

Advise was to keep drinking as much as I can (I already drink 2l of water a day!) and if it does happen again, to come back in as always best to be safe when it comes to babies.

@Fivebyfive2 yayyyyy huge congrats babe. So good to see you here. This is your time xxx

thumper59 · 03/05/2019 16:55

@Fivebyfive2 @Tropicana1 congratulations!! Great to see you here

I think ours will be a boy too. Don't ask why, I've no logical reason just a feeling!

EltzBee · 03/05/2019 17:25

@thumper59 I thought ours was a boy from day 1, 16 week gender scan - nope, girl! They confirmed at 20 week scan (both people who scanned us that day did). lol.

DH finished getting the nursery furniture all ordered today, feeling very real now, eeeek! The wardobe was on pre-order so looks like it'll be early June when that comes, and our pram is due some time June I think as well.

RanchoRelaxo · 03/05/2019 19:38

Massive congratulations @Fivebyfive2 and @Tropicana1 ! Here's to a healthy 9 months

Glad everything is okay @EltzBee bet that was scary though, where have you had your furniture from? We've ordered some from Mothercare and our wardrobe is on pre order too

Well just like you @Crossfitgirl I have had a bit of a tiring week, was at the hospital in the week with reduced movements, and a few other issues, had to have some bloods and a scan, but thankfully everything seems fine, baby is just a bit small but nothing to be worried about, just waiting on the blood results now! Am very happy that it's the end of the week now I've gotta say haha

EltzBee · 03/05/2019 20:33

@RanchoRelaxo Mothercare as well, we really liked the Lulworth set 😊 so went for that. It was on of the first sets we both really liked! We looked at a few others and at the baby show but it was still our favourite. Which did you go for?

OP posts:
Crossfitgirl · 03/05/2019 21:03

@eltzbee we nearly got the lulworth set too! But ended up getting the Franklin in grey from mamas and papas as it was in the sale (didn't think we could afford it before) . Its so exciting getting it ordered isn't it!! I cannot wait til it comes, all our stuff comes 21st June, it feels like ages away! Glad you're feeling better and the doctor is checking you out properly.
Welcome @fivebyfive2 and @tropicana1great to see you guys here!
@ranchorelaxo that sounds scary, glad everything is OK though and yes, definitely glad it's the weekend! Xxx
