@mrsof20118 I completely agree with @TrashKitten10 and @Crossfitgirl - she's being completely unreasonable! DH is of the opinion that he won't be going away for a long time after the baby is here, which I'm very glad about.

MILs can be a pain in the arse sometimes... I feel for you! Xx

@mrsof20118 you're not being unreasonable! If the main issue for your MIL is getting through the airport the airline will organise assistance with that as long as they are told in advance (it's easy enough to do, I had to do it when I needed to fly two weeks after hip surgery).

Wow, it's been a while! Scarlett will be six weeks old on Thursday. Can scarcely believe it! Hope you're all doing well ❤

Third Trimester for me today!
Been poorly the weekend with a stomach bug which was vile but feeling much better today.
Got my GD test tomorrow 😏 will be glad when that's done xx

I'm just at my GD Test, 1 hour to go until 2nd bloods taken. Not been too bad, met some nice mummy to be's and reading my positive birthing book- it's nice to just relax.

I've had a call from the midwife this morning, with my booking in appointment booked for 15th May. It's starting to feel real now!

@MrsR16 yes exciting. Still lots of beating to do 😆 oh fab, you'll get your notes then and possibly a date for your 12 week scan.

@MrsC87 your autocorrect made me giggle so much!! So far, it's been ok! I've been getting very small waves of nausea but then realise that's probably because I haven't eaten 🤦‍♀️ boobs are very tender and DH advised this morning "your nipples are getting big!" Wonderful, dear, thanks very much! 😂😂

Ladies i need a rant.

Went to see my actual midwife today after all the drama that unfolded last week with ICP. She knew nothing! I know this isn't her fault but someone should of been in contact or left her something for when she come back. I've now got to have my bloods done tomorrow again instead and she's gonna chase hospital as I should have a consultant appointment by now. I'm always measuring couple of weeks behind and right on the 10th centile, which I know isn't a problem but it's just one thing after another.

@CobaltRose96 ❤️❤️❤️ she is just beautiful, hope you are still doing well and getting settled now?
@mrsr16 that's exciting, the booking appointment is where it all starts and it's like someone's told you it's all actually happening! (though you won't believe it for aaaaaaaages! ) eat and drink while you can, if nausea is going to hit, food becomes the enemy lol. Hope you're feeling OK xx

Had my next MW appointment today and we're both still doing good which is nice to hear. He's kicking me a plenty now which is reassuring although still the weirdest feeling! You assume that these are going to be wonderful feelings but actually lots of people have now told me how much they didn't like them! He seems to find the right internal organs to poke me in!

@MrsR16 I only ever felt nauseous if I was hungry. Exciting that you’ve got your booking appointment, how far along are you now?

@Cookie0508 I find it particularly weird when baby kicks my bladder, really not a nice feeling!

My bump has definitely popped over the past week or so, I can’t believe no one at my work has noticed yet. I want to keep hiding it til Wednesday, then I go on holiday for 3 weeks and I’ll tell my team when I get back, I’ll be 22 weeks then and I assume I’ll be big enough that even the oblivious men I work with will probably notice something.

Had my scan today at 12+3. Baby very lively and was kicking and flipping all over the place!! So amazing to see now it's a little bigger... now we wait to find out if it's a boy or girl!

@Crossfitgirl Hello lovely, I'm doing ok - bit nauseous today but it's my own fault as I hadn't eaten anything! And we were coming home from holiday, so stuck in a car for a little while. I'm so exhausted at the moment though! I'm doing nothing but sleeping (nothing to do with a 4 hour hike yesterday hehe)

@Cookie0508 That's great news to hear baby's all good! Although less good news to know your internals are taking a bashing! 😂

@stormtrooperjulian I'm 5+1 today! The midwife wanted to get me in at 8 weeks, so not that long to wait really! I think even DH is getting excited now, which is lovely 😊 I'm sure there will be people that haven't noticed at your work! 😂

So girls I have Gestational Diabetes 😔 got to be consultant led and see the dietician and have a growth scan next week.
Feel like I've let my boy down by eating crap!
