@eltzbee amazing stuff btw, where was the bundle from? I got some bits from a nearly new baby sale, nowhere near as much as that though - def need to get some more! Xx

MrsR16 · 19/04/2019 20:49

@Crossfitgirl it's so good to hear from you! Thank you 😘 I can't believe you're 24 weeks! Where did that time go?!? Xx

Crossfitgirl · 19/04/2019 21:01

@mrsr16 well, it went about the speed of a snail til 12 weeks, then it's suddenly sped up to holy shit I'm 6 months preggo! How many weeks are you from your LMP? Just gone up and looked at your FRER pic, god you must be so excited! It proper takes me back, It only feels like yesterday I was sat in the bathroom staring at that same line, shaking and crying and frantically typing out a message on the TTC thread to you girls to psych myself up to go downstairs and tell DH! Hope you're feeling OK so far, and good luck - those early weeks are hard xxx

MrsR16 · 19/04/2019 21:13

@Crossfitgirl 4 weeks! So a bloody long way to go yet! I just hope everything goes ok... xx

BostonFern · 19/04/2019 21:15

@EltzBee what a great bundle!

@Crossfitgirl bet you can't wait to get the pram and furniture, exciting times!

We had our early scan today, measuring a few days ahead at 8 weeks instead of 7+4, and we saw and heard the heartbeat. They recorded the ultrasound and put that as a video, and some screen shots, on a USB stick too. Can't stop watching the video and listening to the heart beat. Feeling reassured that there's actually something growing in there now!

EltzBee · 19/04/2019 21:32

@Crossfitgirl it was posted on one of our local Facebook selling pages, a lady having a clear out of baby stuff! DH spotted it 😊 we're opening in going to a nearly new sale next month too. Exciting you're at 24 weeks! We're 21 weeks today and I can't believe we're 5 months pregnant, in 4 months we'll have a baby 😮😊😍

Will be a bit quiet for the next week as off on holiday for a break. 😊

@BostonFern glad your scan went well!

Thanks @EltzBee!

Crossfitgirl · 19/04/2019 21:49

@bostonfern listening to the heartbeat was the only time I've full on blubbed at a scan. It's so magical isn't it. Glad it went well xxx

@eltzbee amazing! I think I might go to the next nearly new sale it was so good, and maybe make a plan of what I want to get! Lol. I do want to get a fair bit of new stuff too though, I want to pick her first outfits she will ever wear and I don't want it all to be hand me downs. But they are such bargains and afterwards I'm sure I wont care as they'll only get covered in pop and sick anyway 😂

These due dates will creep up on us before we know it!

EltzBee · 19/04/2019 22:33

@Crossfitgirl oh definitely we have a few new bits but exactly that it makes sense to get bits second hand too as they also grow out of it so quickly 🙈 when it comes to changing them a few times a day having lots of things to hand will be good!

I'm so sorry to hear that @PinkFizz19. I hope you're getting lots of support from the people around you. Take all the time you need to heal. You'll be back here.

Huge congratulations @MrsR16!

@Delilah7 that absolutely sucks but I'm really glad they've found what's wrong. Hopefully they'll be able to treat it will and you'll start feeling a bit better soon - physically and in yourself.

So glad he started moving for you @Cookie0508! There's nothing easy about pregnancy is there?

@mrsof20118 She was heard down from start to finish. Not much help to you, I realise. Dsis and I were both transverse until the day mum went into labour though, so there's always time.

The sleep is a nightmare isn't it @Crossfitgirl? Sorry you're struggling with it. Has work improved at all?

Delilah7 · 20/04/2019 07:38

@ChaosMoon thanks for responding hun, yeah I hope so. I don't really know what else they can do other than meds. It won't go until he's here but I just want him to be ok ❤️

MrsR16 · 20/04/2019 09:11

@ChaosMoon thank you! I'm super excited 😊

@BostonFern I'm glad your scan went well!

@Delilah7 I'm sure it'll all be worth it when you get to hold your little baby boy 😘😘 xx

Delilah7 · 20/04/2019 09:12

@MrsR16 of course! Just making the journey more difficult lol xx

ChaosMoon · 20/04/2019 10:03

He will be @Delilah7. It isn't ideal, buy it sounds like you may get to meet him that little bit sooner now. I'm a firm believer in grabbing those silver linings when you can find them.

And trust me, when you're feeding an 11 day old for the 4th time in a night and they stare at you with their big, beautiful eyes, all of this'll seem a distant memory and totally worth it. And you'll be too tired to remember anything else

Delilah7 · 20/04/2019 10:09

@ChaosMoon I just feel abit shit about myself like I've been hurting him and it's my fault. When I know it isn't, but I just feel abit poo. X x x

thumper59 · 20/04/2019 10:36

Morning ladies. What a glorious day here!!

I had sickness/nausea every day from 6- end of week 10. As soon as I hit week 11 I've been fine (touch wood). I'm 12 weeks Monday. I'm so so nervous for our scan it's unreal it's all I can think about. I just hope everything is ok! It was at our 8+4 and we saw a heartbeat so I'm trying to tell myself that!

Think we are going to get a patio set for the garden today so we can sit out in the sun. Hope your all having a lovely bank hol!

ChaosMoon · 20/04/2019 11:36

@Delilah7 I think we all feel /felt like that at different points in our pregnancies. I know I still feel like that now at about 9pm when I'm exhausted, sore, hormonal and DD had a moment when she won't latch or keeps crying. I think it's nature's way of making us take care of them, but it doesn't mean it's true. You've done nothing wrong and I'm sure your baby will be fine. Modern medicine is a wonderful thing.
Sending big hugs and a Mumsnet biscuit.Biscuit (Because biscuits.)

Delilah7 · 20/04/2019 12:19

@ChaosMoon thanks lovely. Means a lot. How are you coping?! Do we get an updated little picture of the beauty 😍😍

BostonFern · 20/04/2019 13:03

Thank you @Crossfitgirl , it was amazing, I keep rewatching the video so I can hear the heartbeat again!

Thank you @MrsR16 - how are you feeling today?

Crossfitgirl · 20/04/2019 15:20

@chaosmoon thanks, I had a much better night last night, I propped myself up into half sitting and used the dream genii properly and feel a bit more rested today. I think maybe heartburn is making me feel ill when I'm asleep?

Work has got better, I finish my secondment soon and have used the rest of my annual leave to go down to 4 day weeks from May til I go off in July. Counting down!

How are you getting on? Sounds like you have taken like a pro to motherhood :-) and your DD sounds like a dream, even with the latching / crying etc, it sounds like she is still just perfect and just doing the normal baby things 11 day olds do :-)

@cookie0508 aww it's so scary when they stop moving isn't it, I keep having scares but they are still small enough to hide and change position where you can't feel them as much.

@delilah7 oh dear that sounds scary, at least they can treat it and will be giving you extra monitoring, that might help with peace of mind. Will you get extra scans and stuff?

ChaosMoon · 20/04/2019 15:50

Here's my little angel @Delilah7 @Crossfitgirl.

You're right, she's doing normal 11 day old things. And I don't know about being a pro, but I'm doing ok and mostly loving it. This tear is apparently healing well but it's still really painful. Between that and the hormones, I struggle at night but, I'm in standard baby blues territory, so I can't really complain about that either. ☺️

ChaosMoon · 20/04/2019 15:52

I'm really glad things are improving at work, and that you managed to get some sleep alasr night. That really makes all the difference.

Delilah7 · 20/04/2019 16:01

@ChaosMoon she is so gorgeous! 😍😍😍

@Crossfitgirl I'm guessing so but it's just a guessing game until Wednesday at the moment which is making me uneasy 😔

sunshine1987 · 20/04/2019 19:40

Aw @chaosmoon she’s so beautiful 💜

BostonFern · 20/04/2019 20:04

@ChaosMoon so cute!
