@MrsR16 congratulations! I was lurking on the ttc thread and I thought your high rhr etc sounded really positive Smile

Cookie0508 · 18/04/2019 14:58

Oh wow @MrsR16 thats a beautiful line! Welcome aboard! Lovely to see more people come over xx

Sorry I'm not about much, just so much going on at the moment. 24 weeks now am I'm feeling a bit crampy again. Baby freaked me out this morning as he wasn't moving, but a few pokes and he started up again. I thought I'd be less anxious by this time!

EltzBee · 18/04/2019 15:09

@MrsR16 that's a lovely solid line hun! You could always get a digital one to do in another week or so, just because it's lovely to see the actual words (don't worry about how long they take to come up, it comes up in two phases as well just to freak you out!).

@Cookie0508 hope you're okay, what a rascal! It sounds like until 27/28 weeks they're still pretty good at hiding so the movement isn't so noticable, but glad you managed to poke him into giving you a poke! lol.

@MrsR16 Yay, welcome! I too lurk on the TTC thread and thought your symptoms sounded really hopeful. With a line as strong as that you've definitely not made anything up ☺️

@Cookie0508 Glad you got a wriggle out of him after you poked him. He was obviously feeling a lot more relaxed than his mum.

GemmaJen · 18/04/2019 15:51

@MrsR16 congratulations! 😊

@Cookie0508 I'm starting to feel movement regularly now, but it's just a new level of worry, lol. If I don't feel anything for half a day I'm in a flap 🙈 I know they can hide away, but in reality telling myself that doesn't stop the worry. I've found chocolate helps, 10 mins after having some and we're back wriggling away. Can't complain at an excuse to eat chocolate 😋

Well ladies we're officially out and we're both devastated 😭 we've had a rollercoaster of emotions since Sunday but sadly had the phone call to say my bloods have decreased and the pregnancy isn't progressing. They've gone from 1481 on Monday to just 265 last night. I have to go back again on Monday as they can't discharge me just yet, they have to be as low as 30 before they can. Sending lots of love and luck to you all for the next few weeks/months. Will look forward to hearing about your beautiful babies and hopefully joining you again soon in the not too distant future 💛 love and hugs xxx

PinkFizz19 · 18/04/2019 17:37

MrsEG · 18/04/2019 20:25

Hi ladies, I only recently rejoined MN after a few weeks off, back on the conception boards as brave enough to TTC again - thought I’d drop in and see how you were all doing and @PinkFizz19 I’m so sorry; I have had two MC now since we started trying last summer and I know how hard it is. It feels so unfair that it goes so right for others and so wrong for you. If you need a chat feel free to DM me anytime.

Ladies - so pleased to see all your scan updates, I can’t believe how many are at 20+ weeks already, there’ll be so many babies born soon! Wishing you all the absolute best, you are so so lucky xx hope to be joining you all again very soon! Happy pregnancies girls x

Cookie0508 · 18/04/2019 23:00

Ahh @PinkFizz19 I'm so sore to hear that, look after yourself xxx

Aww thanks for thinking of us @MrsEG, hope you're doing OK xxx

Thanks ladies, he's been having a good kick this evening so all seems well. As DP says, he need to get his sleep too! Still feeling a bit achy but I guess it's all growing pains xx

Cookie0508 · 18/04/2019 23:00

Sorry* not sore! xx

mrsof20118 · 19/04/2019 08:52

So sorry to hear your news @PinkFizz19

mrsof20118 · 19/04/2019 08:53

Congratulations to @MrsR16

Anyone who's further along than 25 weeks or given birth, when did your baby turn from breach position? X

MrsC87 · 19/04/2019 09:03

Just checking back in, I'm so so sorry @PinkFizz19, sending lots of love to you, please take care of yourself.

Congratulations @MrsEG so pleased for you. Welcome!

@mrsof20118 I'm 27+4 and actually have no idea which way baby is lay. I know movements are more swirls, turns and rolls now rather than kicks as I assume he is running out of space!

sunshine1987 · 19/04/2019 09:17

@pinkfizz19 I’m so sorry, I hope you’re ok, sending you so much love xxx

@MrsR16 wonderful news, so happy to see you here. Massive congratulations xx

MrsR16 · 19/04/2019 10:20

@mrsof20118 thank you lovely!

@sunshine1987 thank you darling! I'm excited to be here! DH keeps telling me that I shouldn't get too excited yet, as it's way too early and anything could happen, which I know is right! But I'm still excited!

@EltzBee Wow that's a good haul! Looks like you got some lovely bits and pieces :)

Has anyone experienced sickness going and then returning with a vengeance? I had nausea really badly at 8 weeks and ended up taking the week off work as felt so awful. I was only quite sporadically sick though. I then felt much better for weeks 9 and 10 but the nausea started to creep back in now I've hit 11 weeks. Today has been the worst day so far and I've been sick 5 times since 11am with no sign of it stopping anytime soon. Anything I've had to eat or drink has immediately reappeared. I'm pretty sure I must be a bit dehydrated as I've got a headache and not had a wee since I woke up but every time I sip my way through half a glass of water I'm sick again. I suppose it may just be a sickness bug but either way I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself Sad

EltzBee · 19/04/2019 16:59

@TrashKitten10 yes we did indeed, pretty good for £18 in total 😊

Ah bless you sickness isn't nice, I'm 21 weeks and still being sick most days.

Try to keep drinking and also try things other than water. In the first trimester I found cuppa soup useful, the smooth ones like tomato flavour. I also had to keep nibbling on plain biscuits like a digestive, really slowly and not in one go. It does get better but it is horrible when you just can't keep anything down some days. Oh and haribo tangy sweets helped too, small enough to manage one or two and get some energy briefly.

Hi ladies, I've not been on here for a while so I'm just checking back in. 24 weeks today, a milestone I was looking forward to as its from now that the baby could potentially survive outside the womb if she came early!

Sorry for being a bit rubbish and missing lots of posts. Been really busy, but then also been excruciatingly tired the past week. Just not sleeping very well, getting uncomfy but not getting on with side sleeping or pregnancy pillow or DH snoring! May well consider sleeping in the spare room one night just to get an undisturbed shot at sleep. Then has 2 days of what I feel like is reduced movement and worrying, but I can still feel her, just not as strong so I think she's just moved position.

@pinkfizz19 I am so sorry to hear your news and send you my love.
@mrsR16 welcome and congratulations!

Sorry to see some of you are still struggling with sickness. I found mine went away then came back a few times before disappearing completey, but I was quite lucky and just had nausea, though that wasn't nice either!

We are getting some exciting big things in the coming weeks - pram travel system and car seat this weekend, then nursery furniture and the crib for our room. We got THE CUTEST Little baby grow in mothercare. It was expensive but I love it so much I was cradling it like a baby the mad woman I am. Just practicing, obviously. Lol.

Hope you are all doing OK. What has everyone else been up to?
