Ah, congratulations @sunshine1987. What a beautiful baby!
I'm so sorry you've been having such a stressful time @Crossfitgirl and your almost panic attack must have been horrible. It sounds like you've made a good positive step towards controlling your workload and reducing your stress though. Well done. It sounds like some of the stress about work is transferring into stress about the baby. But your midwife is right - you don't need to worry about movements yet. And as things calm down with work, I'm sure you'll feel a lot better about everything.
And I'm sorry you've been having movement worries too @Cookie0508. It really is so stressful
@EltzBee has put it beautifully @stormtrooperjulian. What you're feeling is natural, understandable, and almost certainly unnecessary because the chances of something being wrong are so slim. Be kind to yourself until you hear something.
They must certainly aren't @canonlyhopexo! But after the next scan, and when he starts feeling it properly, it'll start feeling more real for him. I think that makes it easier for them to get involved.
How did it go with the midwife today @SullyWifey?
Good luck telling your boss @GemmaJen. How did it go?
And congratulations @BostonFern!
I didn't really tell many people until after 20weeks either. And tbh, even then I missed a lot of people. Half my office only realised when the advert went out for my mat cover and I'm sure there are still people I should have told. I guess they'll work it out when I turn up with a baby... 🤦
