@Delilah7 oh bless your so silly for worrying :) having a preference doesn't make you a bad mum! I'm totally crossing fingers and toes for a girl, its very natural! You will love them either way so keep hoping. I'll cross my fingers for you too x

Delilah7 · 16/01/2019 09:35

@Jummynbean think it's just that thinking it's not that I wouldn't want a boy I'd love one! but feeling bad for not initially grabbing on to the boy gender as much as girl! X

Porridgeprincess · 16/01/2019 09:43

OMG, what a fantastic clear pic !!! Amazing

Delilah, don't feel a bit guilty, I would love a girl too but I will also love a boy, we are allowed to say these things.

People can be so quick to jump though can't they? I you say you want to BF/ FF/ Combo feed, prefer a girl, boy/ Csection... it is hard to be thick skinned when pregnant too and just saying how you feel.

Winona1 · 16/01/2019 12:06

Wow @BeckyButterfly what a great pic!!!!

Winona1 · 16/01/2019 12:08

@Delilah7 I understand. I have 3 nephews and would love a girl but when baby comes I know I'm gunna love it no matter what the gender. What's meant to be will be xx

Delilah7 · 16/01/2019 12:10

@Winona1 @Porridgeprincess that's why I was scared to say anything! it's not that I genuinely wouldn't want a boy. When they're here I don't care aslong as they're healthy but I think everyone has that hope for a certain gender at some point! X

Jummynbean · 16/01/2019 12:11

Just a quick one. I'm 14 weeks today and my appetite had literally vanished! Anyone else had this? The idea of eating anything seems really unsatisfying. X no nausea, just not hungry at all.

GabbyGal · 16/01/2019 12:31

@Jummynbean this happens to me every few days, like I know I need to eat but have no interest in any food. I’m still getting the nausea though so that will usually drive me to eat a cracker or something.

Porridgeprincess · 16/01/2019 12:36

Jummybean are you taking some kind of vitamins ? I am sure the appetite will pick up, I would eat 7 square meals a day right now.!

Porridgeprincess · 16/01/2019 12:39

Dellilah, I posted on another forum about wanting to be prepared for bf and ff if needed as I did not want to be miserable if the bf was getting to me. I got jumped on immediately to say that not everyone is miserable BF and that i already had decided it wasnt going to work

. It was all I could do to not tell them to FRO, i am allowed say these things if I want without getting a mouth full of shit from someone. If you can't be nice... say nothing at all!

Jummynbean · 16/01/2019 13:24

@Porridgeprincess I have been taking the vits, however I did forget last night! So thank you for reminding me. (Remembering to take pills has never been my strongest skill!!!😂)

LauraMB13 · 16/01/2019 14:02

Thanks @GabbyGal! x

Wow @BeckButterly, that's such a clear picture!

@Jummynbean I think it's quite usual, I've had no nausea really but I've gone from constantly thinking about my next meal to just not being interested at all, particularly feeling hungry. I did have a hungry day yesterday, which was my 14 week mark, but I've gone back to not really giving a damn again today!

Porridgeprincess · 16/01/2019 14:06

I forget to take them too Jummybean, so now they are in next to the toothpaste !

Delilah7 · 16/01/2019 14:16

@Porridgeprincess it's everyone's choice!! Doesn't make people bad mums. I'm gonna formula feed. I've got G size boobs without any milk in and I never want anyone let alone my baby going near them! And that's my decision. You do what's best for you x d

Porridgeprincess · 16/01/2019 14:34

Exactly Delilah !

BeckyButterfly · 16/01/2019 15:14

@Jummynbean and @GabbyGal I’m still feeling nauseous (I’m 13 weeks now) and have no appetite at all! I usually eat like a pig but since falling pregnant, I couldn’t be less interested in food. My husband has to remind me to eat before I go to bed at night because I honestly just forget to!

@Delilah7 I have size G boobies as well and I am so nervous for them getting any bigger! Have yours began to expand at all yet? Mine are still the same size and don’t really hurt or anything. I really don’t need them to get any bloody bigger!! I’m only a 32 back as well so getting bras to fit is a nightmare as it is!

Delilah7 · 16/01/2019 16:16

@BeckyButterfly same as me Hun! no they seem abit more fuller but nipples are the worst 😂😂

Bunnybaubles · 16/01/2019 16:29

Had another spectacular baby brain moment today!!

Went to the wrong hospital for my dating scan, aww DP was raging at me 😂😂 I think he has a cheek being angry tbh, he knows exactly how bad my baby brain has been yet he still relies on me to remember stuff???
Probably should've waited till he calmed down before cleverly shifting the blame over to him 😁

Receptionist managed to fit us in tho rather than turn us away.
EDD broght forward to 23rd July 😊 Baby has a really strongbheartbeat, which is always so reassuring, but was lying awkward for most of the scan, even after doing Chunk from the Goonie's truffle shuffle 😂 So never got a sneaky peek between the legs.

@BeckyButterfly that is an amazing pic!! 1 of mine is ok, the other 2 were a grainy waste of paper lol.

@Delilah7 my DP really wanted a boy last time but scan showed we were having a girl. He was devastated!! For nearly a week all I heard was this wasn't what he wanted, and we had made a mistake lol.
As the pregnancy went on he got used to the idea and as soon as she was born he was besotted!!
I thought he'd be wanting a boy this time, but now he says he doesn't care.
Like everyone said, it's completely normal to have a preference and then be disappointed if it's not what you wanted. It all changes when baby arrives and you get to play with all the teenie wee clothes 😍

BeckyButterfly · 16/01/2019 16:44

@Delilah7 mine haven’t hurt at all which I found weird and kept worrying about until my scan but midwife said it might come later or for some they never hurt at all. We’ll see what happens!

Mayjane5 · 16/01/2019 17:59

@Delilah7 the gender thing is totally normal I think, with my first I really wanted a boy but had a girl and now I feel like I would like another girl but will be happy either way. @Porridgeprincess this is why I don’t post on most forums people are so quick to judge, I bottle fed my first and had people say they were disappointed in me, it’s awful people think like that. @Beckybutterfly yes I’m still nauseous and keep retching I feel hungry but can’t seem to eat much especially on an evening, not looking forward to this flight at the weekend

Delilah7 · 16/01/2019 18:56

@Mayjane5 @Bunnybaubles feels so nice to not be weird. I was so worried I would be seen as a bad person for having these feelings at the moment! X

GabbyGal · 16/01/2019 20:32

@Bunnybaubles that’s gave me a good giggle 😂

Bunnybaubles · 16/01/2019 22:46

@GabbyGal Yeh, infuriating DP beyond words is always good for a giggle 😂 I don't even put any effort into it, it's a gift 😌😂😂

Porridgeprincess · 17/01/2019 09:18

Bunnybaubles, that was so funny !! And yes, he should have looked at where the scan was also. ... you were right to blame him !!

Loujonesy · 17/01/2019 13:20

@Delilah7 I have 3 boys and I'm hoping for a girl this time. ( like people have said I will certainly not be disappointed if it is a boy ) but would love a girl to try and even the family out lol xx
