Hi Ladies!
Hope it's ok to join! 😊
We got our BPF Friday and Sat 1-2 weeks clearblue. Super excited but also super nervous. This is our 2nd baby, little girl is 2.
Struggled with pregnancy last time purely due to worry! And I definitely feel pregnant this time, obviously am but keep on thinking is going to happen. Like us all I suppose! X

Kidsandcats1 · 25/11/2018 20:37

**keep on thinking something is going to happen!

(Note to self - spell check! 😂)

robynclen · 25/11/2018 20:40

Has anyone else had really bad lower back pain? I can barely move!

Kidsandcats1 · 25/11/2018 20:43

@robynclen yep! All week! X

robynclen · 25/11/2018 20:53

Cant wait until the firdt trimester is over, if im not throwing up or in pain im crying or shouting at someone... lol

Kidsandcats1 · 25/11/2018 21:03

😂 it's so stressful isn't it!
I'm trying to tell myself "you have had 2 first response, a 1-2 clearblue, why are you fussing". Bloody hate being pregnant 😂

Winona1 · 25/11/2018 21:25

Does anyone else have itchy boobs? 😂

Georgeofthejungle · 25/11/2018 22:29

delilah7 I’d say sudacreme is totally fine! You can put it on an an actual baby so don’t think it’d be too harmful for one in your tum.

Welcome kidsandcats! I also have a 2yo, boy though ! :)

He has obviously been listening more than we realise as today at the in-laws he said to
His Granda ‘this is my mummy, she’s got earrings and a baby in her tummy’ 🤣 keeping all fingers and toes crossed even more that everything goes to plan now that he is on the case! 😳

Georgeofthejungle · 25/11/2018 22:32

regenaphalange89 of course! Forgot about the dating scan. That’s good, totally jumping the gun and a long way to go
But, i really wouldn’t like to be induced unnecessarily! I think I’d refuse! 😮

Georgeofthejungle · 25/11/2018 22:34

@Winona1 I don’t but my friend who I around 8 weeks is going insane with how itchy hers are! x

bemybabe · 25/11/2018 22:38

Hi ladies! Please could I join? I’m 5+4 due on 24 July. I had a blood test to confirm three faint urine tests. Wasn’t told about HCG at the time. It’s my first pregnancy so I’m totally clueless.
I have sore boobs and they look swollen and I’m bloated and maybe a little more tired than usual but otherwise I feel ok. No sickness at all. I’ve notice a sharpish pain on my right side. Not all the time and not every day but it worries me. Is this normal? Maybe I should get another blood test to see if HCG has gone up since last week?

Mrstobe90 · 25/11/2018 23:10

@bemybabe it sounds like round ligament pains. Google it and see if they are what you feel xx

Mrstobe90 · 25/11/2018 23:11

I'm feeling so sick today but don't know whether it's morning sickness or a bug that Dh and dd have.

I had horrific sickness with dd. Hoping this pregnancy is easier!

Flyfisherlady · 25/11/2018 23:22

I’m so bloated and farty right now. I can’t sleep. Meanwhile, still been feeling like I’m on a boat and my boobs are so sore and emitting so much heat that they can be used as radiators

bemybabe · 25/11/2018 23:38

@Mrstobe90 Thanks. I looked it up and it sounds similar but surely way too early. It’s also starting to be there the whole time. I’m going to assume it’s just normal pulling and/or gas. If it’s still there in the morning or worse I will call the dr.
Sorry you feel so sick. It’s a good sign though right.

MakeAWhish · 26/11/2018 02:31

DD2 just came into our room to ask for medicine as she has a sore throat... and now my brain is whirring and I can't get back to sleep! We told my two older dc (from my previous marriage) about the pregnancy as we were so excited and we just wanted to share it with them. But we SWORE them to secrecy. I then get a text from a mum friend saying 'X (her kid) has its told me Y's (my kid) mummy is having a baby?! Is it true or just kid talk?' 😩 I just texted back 'haha wishful thinking I think!' And now I feel awful as I've basically made DD out to be a liar 😂 Just too early for it to spread though. Will be happy for people to know once we've seen peanut on a scan on the 9th Dec.

Winona1 · 26/11/2018 07:23

@Flyfisherlady thank god im not the only one!!!

Poppykin · 26/11/2018 17:43

Joining this thread! So scared and nervous, trying to stay positive, h + h 9 months to every one of us!

mrsof20118 · 26/11/2018 17:57

Anybody still taking baths? I know it's not allowed to be really hot water but I'm craving a long soak!

Poppykin · 26/11/2018 18:02

I’ve had baths but I don’t like them hot so they’re just warm. I would avoid hot baths :)

Giraffe888 · 26/11/2018 18:04

We don’t have a bath in our current bathroom so I don’t have that worry! X

MrsC87 · 26/11/2018 18:20

My doctor did baths were okay. I just have them a little cooler and be careful getting in and out x

MrsC87 · 26/11/2018 18:20

Mayjane5 · 26/11/2018 19:18

Hi lovelies, I hope you are all feeling well, can I join please. I have just taken a test 2-3 weeks due end of July. Second child but I can’t remember first time around, I have very sore boobies and started to feel nausea which I didn’t have first time, how did you tell your partners? I have yet as I wanted to be sure first Smile

MakeAWhish · 26/11/2018 19:56

Congrats @Mayjane5 ! I took my test with DP so we found out together. It was a real squinter and we were snatching it back and forth from each other, trying to make sure we were seeing what we thought we were!
Can you wrap the test up and give it to him as a present? Xx
