I'm officially a day over due and just want my baby here! Signs and symptoms comes and goes is anyone over due? FTM too so not
Sure what to expect

@Babyboymama on the CTG have been for a while now, was worried to begin with as his HB was slower than earlier think it's picking back up! One thing I've learnt is that hospitals give you headaches!! I'm waiting for midwife to tell me the next steps

Hey guys I went into labour this morning at 2am and gave birth a 12:04pm to 10lb1 baby girl.

@markygirl1995 I’ve just had an examination and they said they can break my waters!! So happy it’s not another 24 hours with a pessary! Just waiting for a bed on the labour ward now for them to do it then hopefully things will get moving!

It must be our turn now, all these babies already been born and I think ours were due before them all 😂

@Babyboymama good luck! They won't break mine :( if this doesn't work I have to wait 12 hours then start again and can't go home! Actual hate this! Hoping this dosage does something!!!!

Let me know how you get on and if it hurts in case I end up having it done x

@Markygirl1995 yes I’ll let you know what it’s like, still waiting for a bed on the labour ward though!
Trying to get some sleep but I’ve been having really painful contractions since they did the last examination so I don’t think sleep is likely.

Did the dosage do anything? I can only imagine how fed up you’re getting now! Sending hugs and hope that baby gets moving soon for you!!

@Babyboymama apart from being 2cms dilated now that's about it! Spoke to a different midwife and she said if they can they will break my waters tomorrow so I'm really hoping they will although I'm nervous as I have no clue what to expect kinda hoping you'll let me know first 🙈😂

How are you getting on are you getting stronger contractions?? Labour ward let me know xx

Update: been woken up for my CTG check and they’re hoping to break my waters in 20 minutes time if he behaves and stops hiding his HB - Doctor will need to sign off CTG before giving permission. Nervous!!!!! 😳😳😳 @Babyboymama

Waters popped at 2:11am @Babyboymama if you haven't had yours done yet trust me it's not that bad! X

Contractions are quite bad for me and I’m still waiting for a bed on the labour ward before they can break my waters

@Babyboymama 100% feel so happy they've decided to do this! If nothing happens in 4 hours they're going to put me on the hormone drip so we'll see how things go from there!

Fingers crossed you'll be ok have they offered you pain relief? Xx

No I haven’t really seen them much! They said I wouldn’t have a bed before midnight but I didn’t think I’d still be waiting at this time! There’s another lady waiting to go to the labour ward too and I think she’s getting the first one because she’s been here longer. Feel a bit annoyed but I know it’s not their fault if they’re busy, hopefully it won’t be too much longer..
I thought baby would definitely be here by the end of the weekend but it’s looking more like Monday now!

I'm 6 days over today. Having my 3rd stretch and sweep at some point today and going to labour ward for it. Community midwives just don't do it properly!

Fed up of feeling like a beached whale

@Babyboymama oh no! Was really hoping our babies would be born on the same day!

I'm in the delivery suite now had a shower freshened up now waiting for the hormone drip and let labour commence! They're saying he should be here today x

I've my 40w appointment tomorrow and will be begging for my first sweep! Really want to try and get him moving before needing induced 🤞🤞

I’m still waiting for a bed on the labour ward so they can break my waters, feel like I’m going crazy with all this waiting now 😩

Got on the hormone drip at 9:30 started without epidural and nothing contractions were beginning to get more regular so decided epidural. Was a bit of a nightmare as I was tensing up ladies were lovely gave me gas and air which helps ALOT!!

Feeling good now hoping it won't be much longer! X

Over 24 hours later and I’m still waiting for my waters to be broken 😭😭

Finally feel like I’m getting somewhere!

Hello! I'm Amber. Was due with a singleton was Wednesday - but given that my last set of twins went to 41+3, I'm not expecting this one to show up this week... I've booked a 42-week scan to see how this one is getting on, and in the meantime trying to stay patient and not murder my colleagues for doing sweet, considerate things like asking how I'm feeling and offering to carry things.

How is everyone else?
