Sharp pains at 39+5 😬

For the past 4 weeks I’ve been having regular Braxton Hicks some 6 minutes apart...this is baby no3 but my eldest are 10 and 8 so it’s been a while since my last baby.

Last night I was having windy type pains in my tummy and tightenings. I’ve lost my mucus plug and at my last check up 2cm dilated but able to stretch to 4cm...I’m having contractions regularly today but not very painful! I know baby will be here any minute but it’s so frustrating not knowing how long I’m going to feel like this 😩 so excited to meet my baby girl!
I’m currently eating a whole pineapple bouncing on my ball 😂😂😂 anyone else bored with the wait?? Xxxx

Our little man arrived on tuesday evening. We are very tired but doing OK. 8. 5pounds.

39+5, back cramps, was having tightenings earlier but they seem to be subsiding, sweaty and a bit wobbly and my plug has just gone. Please let it be!!!

Oh exciting! Wish my plug would go! I has period type cramps for hours this morning but once again all disappeared! Went for a long power walk and nothing... booked in for a possible sweep tomorrow so that will be interesting!!

I'm due tomorrow and my car is still in the bloody garage. Won't be ready till the morning so what are the chances of baby holding on a bit?
So annoyed garage have had it since weds am.

I walked 15k steps today and scrubbed all downstairs on my hands and knees. Now tweaking my nipples. Come out baby!! Practice contractions are driving me crazy.

I had sweep today, head was really low but haven’t really dilated anymore than last weeks sweep! 😒 left the appointment abit stressed to be honest. They’ve been unable to book my induction date because the 10th (I’ll be 12 days over) is fully booked. They’ve taken my number to ring me with a date. Asked my midwife what that means and she said “one of the woman booked in for 10tg will ‘provably’ go naturally before 10th, so they’ll ring u” 😠 How long do i leave it before ringing. I just want an end date!! X

It’s so stressful. Mine will be next saturday if I get to induction and that just seems so far away! I know babies come out in the end but I really really want baby to just arrive some time soon.

Just play dumb when you call and tell them you can't remember when someone said they would call

Still here. Still waiting. All previous labourish symptoms have now gone! Still have back cramps quite badly so I think baby has resumed back to back position.

Foodylicious, make sure you get your car back today. If they start to waver then I would go in and make it quite clear that you NEED your car.

S2204, with my last they phoned me with an induction date and this seems to be the standard in our area because they're so full. I would call today and say you thought you were supposed to call them. Otherwise call on Monday - at that point it's also reasonable to ask what happens if someone else doesn't go naturally. They'll be factoring you into the "someone who goes naturally" equation too.

Well things are about the same here.
Bump maybe a little lower and a sore feeling internally, but no bloody show or anything and just the usual tightenings.

Will def be getting my car this morning.

It's been a bit of a saga the last few months, but shirt version is that one of the parts they replaced a couple of months ago has failed so they are replacing it under warranty, but it's a case of engine apart to get to it then rebuild.
Assured me they will finish it last night and road test this morning.

Weirdly (perhaps because this is my last) I'm in no rush for baby to come. I am from a physical and logistical perspective but I don't feel the desperation I've felt the last two times. Mentally I'm quite enjoying pregnancy...it's just my body that doesn't agree.
