Kyle
Ellie
Jaden/Jayden
Chanelle
etc etc... and apologies if you have called your child any of the above
I put Ellie because a squillion little girls are called that.
Freya is a nice name but there are so many now - it really turns me against such names,no matter whether they are nice

binker ~ well my dd's name is on here and I for one think you are being spiteful, bitchy and immature.

Yeah, I love Freddie. Great name!

Kaz33 · 06/06/2007 19:09

What about Sky? My friend has called her daughter it - but I am undecided how I feel about it.

It's funny, her daughter gets an unconventional name but her son gets a quite normal and very popular name.

Desiderata · 06/06/2007 19:11

Well, Sky's been around since the 60s. I don't dislike it - but with just the one syllable I think it would have to bond with the surname in order to work well.

Idobelieveinfairies · 06/06/2007 19:12

I think sky is lovely, a very pretty name. You do get used to 'different' names. My mum didn't like any of the names i chose for my children (and they weren't really unusual) but she got used to them and then really liked them.

TaylorsMummy · 06/06/2007 19:12

i like sky too

Blandmum · 06/06/2007 19:14

Well, I think it would take me a while to get used to Fuzzbot.

lailasmum · 06/06/2007 19:14

Sky is nice. I went to school with a Misty everyone liked it but she hated it and used her middle name which was peta I think (can't quite remember).

Desiderata · 06/06/2007 19:16

What was that Clint Eastwood film with Misty in the title. Was it Call Misty for Me? or something.

Anyhow, I quite like it.

Idobelieveinfairies · 06/06/2007 19:16

martian...you'd have to admit, Fuzzbot is a VERY unusual name....i reakon it would take me a long time to get used to it too!

bless.

Blandmum · 06/06/2007 19:17

wasn't the Misty in that some sort of stalker? Or am I getting confused again?

Blandmum · 06/06/2007 19:18

and Flipper

Hopefully they shorten it to Flip, or just F.

Bibis · 06/06/2007 19:19

Just out of interest is Allgonebellyup's surname Hunt?

Isaac Hunt

Desiderata · 06/06/2007 19:19

oooh yes, MB. She was a stalker alright.

But I wouldn't tar all Misty's with the same brush!

Blandmum · 06/06/2007 19:20

There used to be a bookies in South Wales who rejoyced in the name of Ivor Brain. And the estate agent was John Thomas
