Hi all, so I've only just found out I'm pregnant! 3.5 weeks so still early on but looking for others in the same stages as me. Marginally terrified, apprehensive and anxious but majorly excited for my journey with little bean!

@Creds1980 oh no that all sounds so worrying, i would of thought the nurse would of reassured you abit more than that!
Alot of people on here have booked in for early scans but tbh I'm just going to wait until my 12 weeks. The changes in my body keep me reassured that everything seems to be okay 🤞
🤞 I've got my fingers crossed for you that it's just to early xx

Creds1980 · 27/08/2018 15:57

Unicorn 234 thank you 🤞 🦄 xx

Advice needed please.
Is anyone else partner/husband driving them nuts, he isn't doing anything in particular but everything he does winds me up and I want to strangle him, I just want to be on my own, I feel guilty but I can't help it.
It doesn't help that we have only been together 4 months and I'm 7+2, is anyone else feeling like me is it the hormones?

NewSparkle · 27/08/2018 18:10

Hi everyone. Had my dr apt today so officially pregnant. Very few symptoms so far bar an uncomfortable feeling on my left hand side. Dr wasn’t concerned but am to go back if it gets worse. First antenatal apt is mid sept, a bit early but I’m off on hols so he wanted to see me beforehand. Congrats to all of you. X

Glitzy07 · 27/08/2018 21:40

Hi all. Congrats to everyone. This is our 1st pregnancy so all new to us. I've never been so tired ever. I'm usually tired anyway as live a busy life and all my blood tests over the years have been normal so not deficient in iron or anything but now I'm 7 weeks pregnant the last few weeks all I've wanted to do is sleep. It's so hard when working as I obviously can't but I just feel so drained. This weekend I did not do a thing. Had so much to do chores etc but slept instead. Is this normal ? Also my boobs are still so tender and I feel nauseous most mornings for the last 10 days now. Really want to feel normal again :( I was hoping to go swimming before work but I have 0 energy

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 27/08/2018 22:38

Glitzy you’re growing another human, no wonder your tired, yes very normal but the first trimester is the worst. Hope you feel better soon but definitely take all the naps.

JM19 · 28/08/2018 00:07

Hi, I have recently joined and I am 10 weeks 1 day. So I am due end of March 2019. I paid for a 7 week scan and got my next scan in September. This is my first pregnancy so looking for anyone due similar time and any tips or advice! Thanks x

Glitzy07 · 28/08/2018 08:52

@sheratheallpowerful aww thanks I know it's crazy hey. I didn't realise how much it takes out of you. Least it's a good sign though somethings happening down there :)

LynzSxx · 28/08/2018 10:05

Hi @Creds1980 I hope everything turns out fine and it was just to early. I got sent for an early scan at 5 weeks 4 days and all they could see was a small gestational sac. I'm going back today and I'm now 6 weeks 5 days so hoping they can see more.

TheMagicTorch · 28/08/2018 10:49

@Glitzy07 I have been exhausted too but from what I hear it's totally normal - rest when you can, hopefully 2nd trimester it eases up a little.

Llondbol · 28/08/2018 11:31

That must have been horrible @Creds1980 - I've read a lot about it often being too early to detect anything until a good 7 weeks. In these early stages, every day counts, and you will no doubt have the growth between now and the next scan and all will be fine when you go back in. Let us know how you get on xx

CrystalBlaze · 29/08/2018 07:28

Morning all, hope everyone is feeling okay. I have woken up knackered this morning and to make matters worse it is pissing down with rain outside. Really do not want to go to work.

I wanted to go swimming too @Glitzy. These early weeks are dragging so much.

Chivari · 29/08/2018 08:01

Anyone got any tips for morning sickness? I hit 6 weeks and feel sick all day every day - plus exhausted!! 🤢😕

CrystalBlaze · 29/08/2018 08:29

Oh no @Chivari. I hit six weeks in two days. Dreading this Sad

I bought travel sickness bands in preparation. Have heard eating rice cakes or crackers before you get up can help. And sipping really cold water. No idea if any of these work though. Hope it doesn't last too long xxx

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 29/08/2018 08:48

I might try travel sickness bands, but my tip is chocolate milkshake, it feels like it costs your stomach and stops me feeling sick, I did it in my last pregnancy and finished a bottle yesterday, especially the Mars & galaxy ones (strangely I normally don’t have a sweet tooth but it’s my saviour!)

dellabrew · 29/08/2018 08:50

Not to depress you @Chivari but in the last few weeks ive tried pretty much everything for morning sickness and altho one or two things might take the edge off it slightly for a while, nothing makes it go away or makes you feel that much better..! Hopefully you are lucky and only feel sick rather than be sick, altho that is super crap too ...! Ginger cordial helps settle my stomach a little, but I do still bring it back up - ritz crackers and ready salted hula hoops are all I can eat atm and not very many of them either...However what works for one mum will be different for another so just try anything only you will know what works for you! The best thing for me is just lying down, thankfully between jobs right now so I am just resting all day, its boring but just hoping hoping hoping that it passes by the 2nd trimester!

Chivari · 29/08/2018 09:53

Thanks @CrystalBlaze @SheRaTheAllPowerful and @dellabrew I have heard ginger tea/cordial works so going out to buy some later! I haven't been sick yet just feeling sick 🤢

@CrystalBlaze I hit 6 weeks on Sunday and literally that day was the start of it. I also had a busy weekend where I didn't get a lot of sleep now extra tired 😕

How is everyone else? We have an early 8 week private scan booked in soon. Can't wait!

SheRaTheAllPowerful · 29/08/2018 09:56

@Chivari we are due the same day then! I was dry heaving this morning, I’m definitely taking a turn for the worst!

Chivari · 29/08/2018 12:17

@SheRaTheAllPowerful 21 April? Is this your first?

donna474 · 29/08/2018 15:11

Hello, may I join please?
I found out this morning that I'm pregnant, should be 5+1 today. I was so surprised to see that positive line (and a strong line too!) show up so quickly, then did a digital just to be sure! According to my app my due date is around 30th April.
How is everyone feeling?
