It’s the final countdown to all our September babies

Just feeling shit shit shit. Just so down, so fed up. And sore. 😢😢😢 Was in hospital with prenatal depression a few weeks ago and starting to feel shitty again.

Sorry I’ve never heard of pre natal depression what’s that?xx

@yourenotcrazy how long have you got left? I’m sorry you are feeling low again, what support do you have in real life?

41 weeks today. Just had a second attempt at a sweep. Cervix completely closed still but she did say it was thinner, shorter and softer plus she poked the baby's head which caused its heart rate to increase which she said is also a good sign. If nothing has happened by Friday she will try again but being booked in for induction on Sunday just in case. Come on baby it's time to come and say hi to the world!

I’ve been at the day unit all morning erratic movements from baby all night! Anyway found protein in my water,high bp so did my bloods to check for pre eclampsia all clear thankfully. She was lovely the midwife and did me a really good stretch and sweep 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 2cm dilated,really favourable cervix and waters bulging!! Fingers crossed it gets things moving! Another s and s Friday on my due date xx

Jumping on board last minute. Due on Friday and absolutely no signs yet. Sick of messages asking if baby is on way yet. Husband is losing his mind at work every time the phone rings. How do you keep occupied in the waiting game?!

@Changenameday I completely understand how you feel I'm 39 + 5 and everyone keeps messaging me like baby is really late. It's annoying I'm trying my best to be patient. I've got a good new novel and I've made a chore list of things to do to keep me busy lol

I've worked my way through two whole box sets already in the last two weeks and have one more to go. Hopefully it will see me through till my baby decides to make an appearance. However I can't get anymore if it doesn't as I've no broadband thanks to a mistake by sky engineer so if I do finish it I'll be heading into hmv.

Currently on antenatal and ive had the first pessary in for 24 hrs, im getting contractions every 4 mins, lasting 1 min at a time, i cant talk through them.
Due my next examinatination in 15 mins....

Who knows how long ive got, im going to struggle tonight.. just hope i can get through it!

@niclw I feel for you, I'm 41+1 today, 3 sweeps and no results. I've watched so many films and series by now don't think I can manage any more 😭 booked and induction for Thursday, can't wait and super scared at the same time😬

I have not posted on here much. I'm 39 weeks today with 3rd baby.
Was planning a home birth but had to go in for reduced movement yesterday. I have a scan today at 12 and they said they may want to induce me.
I'm so nervous. I've had 2 natural births already and really wanted the same for this one. I have just packed my hospital bag.
I just want safe arrival of baby but I'm sad that I may not get my home birth.

What’s the reason for the induction?xx

I'm not entirely sure! Just that baby's pattern of movement has slowed down and that the consultant thinks 'better out than in'. I hopefully will get more answers today after the scan and feel less panicky. I may refuse if all seems well with baby at the scan. My husband is at work I just wish he was with me and could help me make decisions.

Scan was fine. They are happy to let me continue with my Home birth! Phew!

That’s good news 👏🏼👏🏼I’ve just had a bath with clary sage oil and got it in my burner it’s not worked so far 😂but worth a shot xx

Didn’t feel baby move since last night,went to hospital this morning they hooked me up to machine to monitor baby’s heartbeat and at some stage it just dropped very low,went right back up but doctor said its safest to induce today so going back at 5pm for my induction 🙈

Still pregnant over here too @LucyLou19. Had contractions this morning for about an hour and a half. Thought I'd have a shower then ring the hospital. However the contractions then stopped. I've had random ones throughout the day which have made me stop what I'm doing but nothing frequent. I'm hoping that it starts properly tonight so I don't have to have another sweep tomorrow. I'm still getting lots of mucus and some bleeding from the last one.

Baby is 10 days now. I had 2nd grade tear and stitches. Today is the worst pain and itchy down there. Been in warm bath with tea tree oil. Did not help. Taking antibiotic and pin killer. Again not much help.
M crying with pain, itchy and stretched skin.
Any suggestions please.

Labour ward is apparently very busy so they are not going to start induction till the morning, looks like I’m staying here for now but baby is fine, dancing Macarena like nothing ever happened which of course is good news

My waters broke as I went upstairs about 9pm ish. I wasn't sure so ended up in triage where they confirmed it. But as I'm not getting frequent contractions I've decided to come home. The other option was to be induced. Hopefully, contractions will start up properly by the morning and baby will be here tomorrow. If not, I'm being induced tomorrow night due to infection risk.
