Welcome chamcourt and congratulations.

We are all here to help eachother. First time for me and I am also nervous and not really sure what to expect.
Feel like I should be reading lots of books or something.

Angelmiracle · 13/08/2018 22:13

Congratulations and welcome!! Lots of great support here you can ask anything your unsure of. I will add you to our list 😊

There are a lot of March babies! There's another 36 due on the March antenatal thread too!

Funnybunnyfluff · 14/08/2018 02:35

Does anyone wake up to pee at night, go back to bed and within minutes feel like they have a cold.
I sneeze around 3 times, have to blow my nose and then it disappears.
It's starting to annoy me now as it happens every night.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

Charlotte1x · 14/08/2018 07:03

@funnybunnyfluff funny you should say that because when I wake in the night, and first thing in the morning, I’m all shivery and bunged up like I have a cold! But then once I get up properly it just disappears

CobaltRose · 14/08/2018 07:18

I've been feeling bunged up at night too! I've also been sneezing quite a bit too.

HidCat · 14/08/2018 08:14

@chamcourts and @silvertongue congratulations and welcome to the group! How are you both finding things so far?

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 14/08/2018 09:15

Welcome @chamcourts. We're due on the same day!
Welcome@Silvertongue.
How are you both feeling?

Loopyloo85 · 14/08/2018 10:31

Hey ladies. Can I join the group please? Needing a bit of support and camaraderie. I'm 9 weeks. Due 12/03/19.Grin

Welcome @Loopyloo85 congratulations!

Last night I got really shivery and felt like I was taking something had to wrap up then later on roasting Confused

BuffaloGiraffe · 14/08/2018 11:15

Do you think we should all jump over to the march antenatal group, so we are all in one place? I think I’m going to...

AceyMac13 · 14/08/2018 11:16

@BuffaloGiraffe - I will try the hard boiled sweets in an attempt to ease this horrendous nausea! I hope they continue to work for you today :)

@HidCat sorry to hear you were violently sick! Oooo hash browns sound amazing, might have to go and get some. I had a McDonald’s craving right at the start, can’t stand the thought of it now though haha.

Still haven’t heard from my midwife in regards to a booking in appointment, I’ll be 8 weeks on Thursday and was told they see people between 8-10 weeks but usually towards ten weeks. So frustrating, I want a date for my 12 week scan!
My useless baby daddy has decided he doesn’t want this baby as he already has two kids of his own, shouldn’t have unprotected sex then! Gah, sorry for the rant he’s really annoyed me, my baby is so loved and Wanted by me and my family already so it’s his loss.

Welcome to all the newbies :)

Angelmiracle · 14/08/2018 12:30

@AceyMac13 sorry baby daddy is giving you stress as if that's all you need! Glad you have family to support you 😊

Loopyloo85 · 14/08/2018 13:25

Hi everyone 😁

Anyone else struggling with extreme fatigue?I've been like it for about3 weeks now and it's starting to affect my mood. Confused

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 14/08/2018 14:44

@Loopyloo85, I just came here to ask the exact same question! I'm constantly knackered and it's affecting my mood too! I went to bed yesterday at about 8.30 and had a good 11 hours sleep. I cocked up a bit at work today and my OH (we work together) came over to me and tried to make me feel better but I ended up massively snapping at him and accusing him of patronising me... I'm a bitch.

Loopyloo85 · 14/08/2018 15:15

@assumeitwassomethingclever

So glad you're feeling it too and I'm not alone in this! It truly sucks doesn't it! Don't worry I'm like pure evil at the moment. I'm snappy. Being at work and not killing someone is so hard!! I fell asleep last night at 8:30 but my quality of sleep is rubbish. I have just ordered a 12ft pillow though so I hoping that will help as having weird aches at the moment and my bed feel like I'm sleeping on concrete. I've been assured the tiredness will pass but I'm literally counting down the days and trying to maintain a constant mood but it's so hard. Xx

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 14/08/2018 15:56

@Loopyloo85. I'm dreaming ALOT(!) so I don't think that's helping with the tiredness. Oooh I like the sound of that pillow. I know what you mean about the consistent mood. I don't think it'd be so bad if I was in a bad mood all the time but I'm constantly up and down. One minute OH breathes at me and I want to kill him then the next minute I just want to cuddle haha!

Angelmiracle · 14/08/2018 16:14

@Loopyloo85 @assumeitwassomethingclever I'm exactly the same so snappy. A lady parked beside me last week got out and hit her door off my car. I jumped out immediately and ate the head off her I scared DS a little Blush She is very lucky no mark was left on my car. I never felt fury go through me like it 🙈 I'm tired all the time feel useless to DS and craziest dreams every night!

HidCat · 14/08/2018 16:14

@Loopyloo85 congratulations and welcome! Fatigue is a recurring theme on this thread, currently sitting on the sofa yawning my head off! Waking up three times a night to pee is not helping, thank God I don't have to work until Monday.

@BuffaloGiraffe I'm on there already!

@AceyMac13 so sorry that the baby's Dad isn't on board. Hopefully you can find a good balance in the end.

Angelmiracle · 14/08/2018 19:11

We are going to be starting a 4th thread on the ante-natal club board. Some of the ladies have suggested this one merges with it if you would like? I can update the due date list to include everyone and tag you all. Everyone is more than welcome. There would be over 70 of us due end of Feb/March!! Grin

Mum2bejac · 14/08/2018 20:08

@MrsLCW how are you feeling now? And did you get your quiche in the end? I had a massive craving for that the other day too. Anything carby or starchy gimme!
I find I am getting even more hangry than pre pregnancy and my partner didn't think that was possible. It's like a fierce hunger for something specific
