Hello again everyone.

Booked my early scan for next week but on Thursday had quite a heavy bleed. Was checked and scanned (where we saw a beautiful bean with a strong heartbeat) but have been told it’s a threatened miscarriage so now very worried and feeling super cautious. Anyone had any experience.

Oh EDD 21.03.19

HidCat · 12/08/2018 17:35

@Clairemcd13 oh my that must have been scary. Insensitive docs are a nightmare when we have hormones and anxiety to deal with. I'm glad everything is lining up well now though.

@Elizabeth134 quite a few ladies have had some bleeding with no problem to the baby, hopefully they'll keep monitoring you closely to provide as much reassurance as possible.

@Elizabeth134 I'm sure you are so worried right now- really hope you've a stubborn little babe who is well snuggled in 🤞

Clairemcd13 · 12/08/2018 20:10

@Elizabeth134 keeping everything crossed that you will both be ok x

BuffaloGiraffe · 13/08/2018 00:08

@AceyMac tell me about it, the nausea is dreadful, I want to actually be sick.

@VillageFete, I’m going to beg for steroids and a 37 week elcs as I’ve not got to 38 weeks before things start going badly wrong. Not sure they will agree to one before 38 weeks, but I can try to pled my case.

@Elizabeth134 I hope the little bean stays sticky, I’ve got everything crossed.

Angelmiracle · 13/08/2018 08:35

Hi all. Last night I had alternating ovary pain and this morning very sharp jab type pain in my uterus I'm 8+1. Has anyone had this?

PurpleFlower1983 · 13/08/2018 09:01

I’ve had a sharp pain on the left side of my pelvis throughout. I think it’s ligament pain.

AceyMac13 · 13/08/2018 13:18

@BuffaloGiraffe - my nausea turned into being sick once today, but I still feel nauseous after actually being sick, it’s a lose lose situation! :(

AceyMac13 · 13/08/2018 13:19

@Elizabeth134 - no experience myself but I hope everything is okay and that Bean is a sticky one.

Minichuch · 13/08/2018 13:47

Anyone else's hair falling out by the handful! I mean I've got enough of it but even still it's just everywhere 😩

Clairemcd13 · 13/08/2018 14:39

@Minichuch yip tho from experience from having my 1st child it was really thick and healthy after having her. I also have an under active thyroid so I would suffer with hair loss anyway but during pregnancy it defo gets worse for me

Clairemcd13 · 13/08/2018 14:44

@Angelmiracle I have been having similar pains iam 11+1 and this is my 2nd child so i have just put it down to everything expanding, dont remember any of this and my daughter is only 4 so wasnt that long ago lol. Hope your ok

Charlotte1x · 13/08/2018 14:53

Hi all, can I be added onto the list please? For some reason my phone won’t let me copy and paste it! My due date is 22/03/19 at the moment!

I posted a couple of times earlier on but I’ve been a bit quiet lately as I’ve been rather anxious. Had sharp pains throughout the pregnancy and the midwife wasn’t concerned by this, but then last weekend I started spotting and the pains felt worse. We paid for a private scan Saturday morning, I’m so pleased to say that all was fine and there was a nice strong heartbeat! I had also been worrying because I’d had very little symptoms apart from sore and larger boobs, but it’s typical that today I’m feeling quite nauseous! X

Elizabeth134 · 13/08/2018 15:12

I’ve had a sharp jab pain if I sneeze or move quickly. Although apparently they are a lot further down and snuggled in that where you feel ligament pain.

AssumeItWasSomethingClever · 13/08/2018 15:53

I'm with you all on the sharp pain front. Done a little bit of googling and it seems to be lighting crotch, which explains it perfectly! It's just like a sharp shooting pain that goes across my lower pelvis.
My nausea hasn't been great this weekend. I slept about 24 hours over the course of Saturday and Sunday! I felt awful again this morning, just like I'm hungover, finally felt okay after eating my lunch. Going to try to shove something down my neck tomorrow morning as soon as I wake up to see if that helps.

CobaltRose · 13/08/2018 15:57

I'm 10+1 today and have noticed that my nausea and breast pain has reduced significantly over the past few days. I've read that this is normal but it's still a worry!

I've got a scan tomorrow so hopefully that'll relieve some of my anxiety!

CobaltRose · 13/08/2018 15:58

Oh, and I've had lightning crotch too a few times! It usually happens when I laugh or cough.

Thanks for the reassurance!

Yeah @Clairemcd13 DS is 5 and I don't remember it with him! Maybe too long ago lol. I just worry with having PCOS that I might develop a large cyst on my ovary or something 🙈 Once I was up and moving about it settled down.

MrsLCW · 13/08/2018 18:41

Oh ladies, I’ve been craving quiche Lorain alllllll day today, literally since I opened my eyes this morning, my hubby has just rang to say ASDA only have cheese and onion quiche in the gluten free section and I’m having a little cry. I think my hormones have peaked. I know I’m being ridiculous but still can’t seem to pull myself round!! X

VillageFete · 13/08/2018 18:45

@Minichuch Yes! My house is full of long, dark hairs! It’s like i’m shedding?!

BuffaloGiraffe · 13/08/2018 19:16

@AceyMac, poor you! I’ve discovered that sucking boiled sweets helps with the nausea, or at least does today, who knows if it will tomorrow!

@minichuch I’m actually really lucky, pregnancy reduces my hair shedding, but it starts with avengence a few months PP.

I had some stabby ovary pain early on, but seems to be over now. I wouldn’t worry, it’s probably things just moving around in your pelvis. Your uterus has already grown to the size of a large grapefruit by week 8.

HidCat · 13/08/2018 20:41

@Charlotte1x congratulations and welcome, I'm glad the scan went well for you.

@AceyMac13 same here, was violently sick last night and have felt rough most of the day. Sitting on the sofa feeling nauseous again now. Weirdly the only things not making me nauseous are hash browns and Mcdonalds fries!

chamcourts · 13/08/2018 21:14

Hello, I found out a week ago that I am around 10 weeks pregnant. I was shocked about the news totally unexpected. I am only 20 years old, although a mature 20 as I haven't lived/had contact with any family since 15 years old. Lived independently and matured quickly for my age.. due 8/03/2019, very nervous and wanting some support along the way. Thank you:)
