I've lost count of what number we were on, sorry.

Also there seems to be another BFP after MC thread running, but it has all different people on it so I didn't know if we should crash theirs or just have two running at once...

Well that’s all you fucking need Iswallowtoothpaste. Probably not helpful but I’m raging silently on your behalf that he’s not being more supportive Flowers

You need to rest so please do so. He might be busy but you’re carrying your shared baby and something’s going on in there, hopefully just a scare and nothing serious, which needs you looking after yourself. He can take them to the park. You keep warm and cosy and still. If you’ve got a hot water bottle that might be better than a bath. If your cervix is open I’d keep out of the water. Maybe just a shower?

Sending you lots of love x

Are you alright para? Hugs all round today!

Iswallowtoothpaste · 18/11/2018 17:12

He can fuck off. I’ve looked after both kids all weekend, granted he’s busy but it’s too much of his way or the highway at the moment even though I’m in such strife!

Back pain is still there Sad it’s exactly the same as last time so I’m not holding out much hope. Just awful to get to 12 weeks. I’m so angry with my body and how it’s let me down!

HidCat · 18/11/2018 19:13

@Iswallowtoothpaste I sincerely hope it's one of those things and all is well. Your OH needs a reality check if that's his reaction - I hope he's got his shit together by now. I'm keeping everything crossed for you. xxx

Iswallowtoothpaste · 18/11/2018 19:35

I’ve barely spoken to him. Deep down he’ll be worried. I’ve been absolutely inconsolable at times and I know I’m hard to deal with when I’m like that but can he blame me? Especially with my history.

I was so sick yesterday, in fact it was pretty much all day, boobs were sore etc. I even said to OH I’m feeling very pregnant today.
It’s going to be a very long wait until Tuesday!

NoParticularPattern · 18/11/2018 20:24

toothpaste I’m sorry your OH is being a knob. I know what you mean that you’re not good to deal with when you’re worried- I remember being exactly the same when I was pregnant with my daughter and I had a few episodes of spotting. I was absolutely awful to live with. But he doesn’t have to be horrid back does he?! I know he’s probably finding it hard but would it kill him to just try and put himself in your shoes for a minute? You’re the one carrying this baby- I know only too well the pressure that comes with that and how you feel like you’re responsible for every single thing that does or doesn’t go wrong. It’s exhausting just handling that never mind the fact that pregnancy in general is bloody exhausting. I hope he pulls his head out of his backside and realises what a knob he’s been. Hoping from now until Tuesday goes quickly for you (and me! I don’t like the wading through treacle thing that time does when you find out you’re pregnant. My daughter is 9 months and it feels like 5 minutes but the moment I get a bfp I somehow slow time to a bloody crawl! Not funny!)

WishingonaStar77 · 18/11/2018 23:39

Hi guys, can I join please? I got my BFP yesterday but not due AF until Tuesday.
I've had 4 previous losses 2 chemical and 2 at 10 weeks.
Currently driving myself mad feeling my breasts as they aren't very sore and wishing for those tummy twinges that seem to come and go.
Have a scan for miscarriage investigations tomorrow. I'll tell them of course but I wonder if they will see the sac?
Got a feeling this is going to be a long and bumpy ride! X

Labmum · 19/11/2018 09:03

@Iswallowtoothpaste I hope things have settled this morning both with the bleeding and OH.
Welcome @NoParticularPattern and @Wishingonastar hoping your pregnancies are nice and uneventful. @Wishing I don't think a sac would be visible this early. With DS I had a gynae scan at 5 days before my period was due, there was no sac but they could see a cyst from where the egg was released, a blood test found I was pregnant.

Hoping everyone is well. 28 weeks here today! Had a busy-ish weekend with not much time to put my feet up so the varicose vein has been quite swollen. Delightful!

Iswallowtoothpaste · 19/11/2018 10:02

Thank you all. No more bleeding last time i checked - just my normal Lear discharge. Still having some strange pains though. Have tried to get an earlier scan at 3 different hospitals now but to no avail so looks like I’m just going to have to wait until tomorrow. I’m going to ring my GP next just to make him aware. OP apologised last night. Still pissed off with him though.

Paranormalbouquet · 19/11/2018 10:30

Welcome Wishing. Hoping this is your lucky time. I don't think anything would be visible on scan now other than a thickened lining. Iswallow I'm glad your OH apologised. Fingers crossed for a good scan tomorrow.

Labmum I hope the varicose vein isn't too swollen.I'm working from home today, exhausted but at least can put my feet up. Marking essays.

Vuduvu · 19/11/2018 10:41

@iswallowtoothpaste sending you lots of good wishes for tomorrow, and just to add to the other stories I had bleeding with this pregnancy and not with my 2 MMCs, think I had some pelvic/back pain at the time as well and my EPU said that whatever the cause of bleeding it irritates the lining of the uterus so can cause that pain.

Welcome @WishingonaStar77 and congratulations on your BFP. labmum 28 weeks! That’s so far along, you’re really getting there Smile

anne and para hope you’re both feeling ok! Is there something in pregnancy hormones that makes you more emotional/weepy? Ive just flown out to the US for Thanksgiving with my in-laws and watched Bridget Jones’s Baby on the flight and it kept making me cry.

Cyclonest still going ok, I haven’t noticed any side effects yet. Does anyone else find it smells really weird though?

Hopefulforourrainbow · 19/11/2018 11:27

Welcome and congratulations @wishing.
@toothpaste I'm glad he has apologised and glad the bleeding has stopped. Will be thinking of you tomorrow and hope scan goes well. @vuduvu I watched that last week too and cried so many times! Don't remember feeling so emotional watching it before. You're lucky you've avoided the side effects so far. I have felt awful on it and it really hasn't helped my IBS. Hope everyone else is doing well.

whiteonesugar · 19/11/2018 14:45

@iswallowtoothpaste - crossing everything for tomorrow to be fine.

I had my second EPU scan today, 8 weeks 2 days, all looking fine, heartbeat strong and we got to hear it too which was lovely!

I am starting to relax a little and believe it more now. I've sent off my self referal for the midwives so should get my booking appt soon and 12 week scan date.

HidCat · 19/11/2018 20:32

@WishingonaStar77 congratulations and welcome to the group.

@Iswallowtoothpaste I'm glad he's apologised. It's a start if nothing else. I'm keeping everything crossed for tomorrow for you. xxx

beanhunter · 19/11/2018 20:46

Had a reassurance scan at 18+5 today and everything looks good. Can’t quite believe it as still no movements and was getting very anxious. Tentatively looks like we are team pink.

Hopefulforourrainbow · 19/11/2018 21:10

Congratulations @beanhunter! That's fab news

kirinm · 19/11/2018 22:27

@Paranormalbouquet So pleaded to read things are going okay and you are due so soon. I've not been able to get onto MN for ages as I'd forgotten my password.

WishingonaStar77 · 19/11/2018 23:37

Hi all, didn't have my scan today. The hospital said they won't scan me now I'm pregnant. Had to fight hard to get the progesterone I was promised in my first referral. Popped the first one up tonight! Went for front door as opposed to up the bum 😯 will see how it goes..
@toothpaste not had chance to read all back stories but good luck for your scan tomorrow x

Paranormalbouquet · 20/11/2018 04:51

Yes pregnancy hormones definitely affect mood and make us more weepy at times! And sleep (obviously!). White and bean congratulations on the good scans! And well done on making booking appointment- I was a bit of a wreck this first trimester and couldn’t bear booking in as the last MMC was followed with weeks of me being called for missing my appointment (after I had cancelled!). Including a call while I was having (failed) medical management in the EPAU asking why I wasn’t at my 12 week scan. I know what hospital systems are like but it’s the last thing you need at that point.

Kirin how wonderful to hear from you! How are you and baby doing? Despite all my worrying and complaining I am obviously so delighted to have made it this far! Considering that my original aim was to get to viability!

Iswallowtoothpaste · 20/11/2018 07:19

Scan day today. Appointment is at 9:40 so at least I don’t have I wait too long. Dreading being bad news and having to decide on some sort of management again. Wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy.

Miami81 · 20/11/2018 07:30

Good luck @Iswallowtoothpaste. Will be thinking of you.

Paranormalbouquet · 20/11/2018 07:39

Good look iswallowtoothpaste, we are all hoping for good news.

Iswallowtoothpaste · 20/11/2018 07:55

Thank you all, I’m going for good news too but am fearing the worst I’m afraid. So worried.

NoParticularPattern · 20/11/2018 08:49

Good luck today toothpaste I have everything crossed for you. I know what you mean about worrying about decisions to do with management if it goes wrong. I’m already panicking about what I will do with my daughter if I have to go to the EPU or have another ERPC. Which is irrational since I have no reason AT ALL to suspect I will need to do either 🙈

Iswallowtoothpaste · 20/11/2018 12:16

All went well at the scan. Baby was in there dancing away, good heartbeat. Didn’t get a very good scan photo thanks to BMI and the fact that my uterus tilts backwards. Thank you for all of your support xxx

Vuduvu · 20/11/2018 12:40

Amazing news @iswallowtoothpaste, so happy for you!! How are you feeling?

Congratulations as well @whiteonesugar and @beanhunter, so much good news in the last couple of days :)

@hopefulforourrainbow sorry to hear you're struggling with the cyclogest. I seem to be on a lower dose than some people so maybe that account for the lack of side effects for me. How long do you have to be on it for?
