The final countdown- how do you feel?

Hi everyone,
38+3 today and feel like keek!
Reflux (now non-acidic due to omeprazole, but still woeful nonetheless! )up the past 2 nights vomiting its been that bad. Throat is raw, back has started to hurt (no back pain at all really the whole way through), ALOT of soft bms since yesterday, feel a bit like im getting a cold, braxton hicks have increased and are bordering on slightly painful this morning, and i also feel queasy. All in all i feel like a dogs dinner lol.
Anyone else almost at the end and feeling similar?
Ive convinced myself im going to go early. Though thats maybe me being hopeful and fed up of waiting lol
This is my third baby and she was breech up til this week and obstetrician told me on tuesday her heads engaged.
How absolutely soul destroying is the end of pregnancy, every day feels like a week lol

@LadyPug & @Natasha92 how exciting for you! I'm so jealous! Today is my due date and nothing! I'm going to bounce on the birth ball for a little while now, I'm so desperate. Might even whip out the breast pump.

My BHs are so tight that they're literally taking my breath away.

@brogueish welcome! I hope things go quickly for you. I'm in the same position. I feel like I'm serving no purpose but to eat all day and watch Netflix.

Scrap that, OH has accidentally thrown out the pump for the ball. Typical...

Hi @brogueish, welcome - I've not had a hint of any show or mucus and I'm 39+5. Just really tight and annoying Braxton Hicks (like you @Cat!) that make me need to wee constantly, and general soreness in my lower back and pelvis. Utterly fed up!

Wow @natasha92 and @ladypug! Exciting! Hope you guys are doing well and cuddling up to your squishy newborns right now, or very soon will be. Thinking of you both. Good luck

All going a bit rubbish at this end! A long night of contractions but no
More than 3 w wet 20 or 30 minutes. Now they want me to discuss c section as waters gone and risk of infection :-(

@LadyPug How frustrating for you! I hope things speed up

Ah bugger @ladyPug, do you not have the option of induction after 24hrs of waters breaking, or are they wanting to avoid that due to previous CS?

@LadyPug I had an emergency c-section. It's a shame to not have a natural birth but just think that you'll be holding your beautiful baby soon and know that another May mum is here to catch up with post c-section! (if you do have one)

Either way fingers crossed for you and I hope you have a positive birth no matter how the baby is delivered ❤❤❤

I am struggling to stay awake today! I've always been a generally tired person but I am useless at the moment, my body feels like it's made of lead. I really hope this lifts after I've given birth or I don't know how I will cope with a baby! I'm really quite worried about it! I had a massive nap yesterday and a decent nights sleep so I have no reason to be so tired!

@Bojangles33 don't worry your body will help you out with hormones to stay awake! Just rest as much as you can

I hope so @Cosmoa ! I managed to stay awake without a nap today, small wins haha!

Take all the naps you can get. I've been having two hours on the sofa while my dd is at nursery like the old days!

What's everyone up to today? I'm torn between spending the day at home resting or going shopping for our new en suite (finally finished yesterday hurrah!). Yesterday was pretty unproductive so I feel like I should Do Something today!

well today is my due date. Had the worst nights sleep ever - how cruel is it to have insomnia now and keep getting up for a pee knowing you need all the sleep you can get

I'm going straight back to bed once we've taken DD to school. DP is off today and DD so today would be a fab day for things to get going, which means of course it won't Lazy day I think for me. I spent the last few weeks cleaning and decluttering and I've just had enough now.

Ooh new bathroom @brogueish - we're getting ours done too, it's desperately needed, I can't wait! we have the suite stacked up in the shed, just need to organise getting it put in. Will be after baby's here now.

Thinking of you @LadyPug - I hope you're enjoying new baby cuddles right now!

Hi guys, just letting you know I’m out the other side! Ended up with meconium in the waters and then found out baby was breech and ended in c section but all is ok now, she was delivered last night safe and sound :-) I hope everyone is ok! Good luck moo
