Hi everyone,
38+3 today and feel like keek!
Reflux (now non-acidic due to omeprazole, but still woeful nonetheless! )up the past 2 nights vomiting its been that bad. Throat is raw, back has started to hurt (no back pain at all really the whole way through), ALOT of soft bms since yesterday, feel a bit like im getting a cold, braxton hicks have increased and are bordering on slightly painful this morning, and i also feel queasy. All in all i feel like a dogs dinner lol.
Anyone else almost at the end and feeling similar?
Ive convinced myself im going to go early. Though thats maybe me being hopeful and fed up of waiting lol
This is my third baby and she was breech up til this week and obstetrician told me on tuesday her heads engaged.
How absolutely soul destroying is the end of pregnancy, every day feels like a week lol

Hey phoenix I know what you mean! I was analysing everything last night the same!

readysetcake · 21/05/2018 08:26

Baby boy born at 7.59 pm! 8lb 9oz- what a bruiser. Thanks for all your well wishes. It was a bit of a slog but he’s perfect and worth it! Hope you ladies get to meet your babies very soon!

Cat12321 · 21/05/2018 08:26

I did exactly the same this morning @Phoenix! Here's hoping haha SmileSmile

LadyPug · 21/05/2018 08:35

Ah congrats ready I can’t believe
You’ve gone and left me celebrating due date on my own! Haha! Fingers crossed things happen here pretty
Sharpish. Any advice? Did it all go ok?

PhoenixDown · 21/05/2018 08:59

Yay congrats @readysetcake Grin Flowers

readysetcake · 21/05/2018 09:15

Sorry @ladypug!! I know I’m so lucky he came a day early.
My biggest advice is really listen to the midwife when she tells you to breath the head out. It hard and I wanted to do was push past the pain, but left with only tiny tear and no stiches. Feel a million times more normal and comfortable than with DD and 2nd degree tear. And she was sooo much smaller!

Cat12321 · 21/05/2018 09:47

Congratulations @readysetcake and thank you for the advice! Thanks

Beansprout30 · 21/05/2018 12:56

Congratulations ready! Does he have a name yet?

Cosmoa · 21/05/2018 15:05

@readysetcake congratulations!!!

Natasha92 · 21/05/2018 19:05

@readysetcake congrats enjoy all the cuddles!

I'm 39 + 3 really fed up now, my legs are killing I did so many squats last night and went for a 45 min walk today.. not even one twinge!! Hope everyone else doing well.. x

PhoenixDown · 22/05/2018 08:30

Another day, still pregnant! Keep having a dodgy tummy and was on and off the loo constantly yesterday and feeling crampy, but then it goes. Hope you're all feeling OK Smile

Yet another warm sunny day too - I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but I'm really not enjoying the heat right now!

LadyPug · 22/05/2018 08:53

Thanks for the advice ready I’m hoping something is happening here, period pains last night and light streaked discharge this morning!

Beansprout30 · 22/05/2018 09:04

Dodgy tummy could be a good sign your body is clearing out, fingers crossed for you phoenix and lady

No signs here might try and go for a walk today while DD is at nursery and see if it gets baby moving

LadyPug · 22/05/2018 09:37

Ah phoenix good luck! Had dodgy tummy here too! We have to be close! Also hating the heat!

PhoenixDown · 22/05/2018 10:30

Ladypug the streaked discharge is defo a good sign, a teeny tiny bit of blood in discharge is the only sign I had with DD. I'm scrutinising the toilet paper every time I go to the toilet Blush

LadyPug · 22/05/2018 11:01

Ah thanks phoenix that’s good to know, everything seems to have ground to a halt now :-(

Natasha92 · 22/05/2018 11:16

I did squats yesterday and went for a 45 min walk... at 11pm mucus plug came out and waters started leaking out, went to hospital and got sent home as I had no contractions.. 3am gush of waters and having contractions since, every 10mins but they are bareable... hopefully baby will be here soon... it's my first so not sure how long before I'll be in active labour.... I deffo think the walking and squats helped! Hope everyone is doing well!! :)

Beansprout30 · 22/05/2018 12:41

Exciting natasha ! All the best for your birth

Bojangles33 · 22/05/2018 13:40

Ooo exciting! Good luck @Natasha92

PhoenixDown · 22/05/2018 13:44

Ooh exciting Natasha good luck! Grin

I honestly don't think I could manage squats, I feel like my pubic bone would actually break!!

brogueish · 22/05/2018 19:35

I'm 37+5, can I join in?

I'm tired, a bit achey, and just started mat leave so not really sure what to do with myself. Also have been losing the plug gradually over the past few weeks - anyone else? I've had some fairly big bloody blobs but not a hint of a contraction (I don't think, anyway - FTM so pretty clueless).

LadyPug · 22/05/2018 19:47

My waters have just gone!!!!!

Cosmoa · 22/05/2018 20:14

@LadyPug yeeeeyyy!!!! So excited for you! We had the same due date Smile

I'll be thinking of ya, fingers crossed!

Beansprout30 · 22/05/2018 20:25

Exciting lady come on baby!
