Hi everyone,
38+3 today and feel like keek!
Reflux (now non-acidic due to omeprazole, but still woeful nonetheless! )up the past 2 nights vomiting its been that bad. Throat is raw, back has started to hurt (no back pain at all really the whole way through), ALOT of soft bms since yesterday, feel a bit like im getting a cold, braxton hicks have increased and are bordering on slightly painful this morning, and i also feel queasy. All in all i feel like a dogs dinner lol.
Anyone else almost at the end and feeling similar?
Ive convinced myself im going to go early. Though thats maybe me being hopeful and fed up of waiting lol
This is my third baby and she was breech up til this week and obstetrician told me on tuesday her heads engaged.
How absolutely soul destroying is the end of pregnancy, every day feels like a week lol

Ah phoenix just caught up on thread and felt excited for you for a second! Hope it comes back for you!

PhoenixDown · 19/05/2018 10:43

Me too Ladypug! Hope things get going for you too, it's nice to catch up with the May ladies, I've not been on for ages!

No pains at all now, going to have a walk down to supermarket to get some stuff in in case, and also hopefully get something going again Grin

Cat12321 · 19/05/2018 14:20

Hoping that everything speeds up for us!

I seem to be a walking attraction at the moment, everyone I see is asking 'when's it due?' haha! I know they mean well, but I cannot wait to not be pregnant anymore Smile

Oh and you guys with toddlers as well are amaziiiiing this is my first baby and I honestly couldn't imagine having to look after a toddler as well! I am absolutely exhausted and useless atm Grin

My MIL is taking me out to 'walk the baby out' tomorrow. Hopefully a bit of activity will get things going! I'm hoping to avoid my sweep on Thursday! Fingers crossed.

PhoenixDown · 19/05/2018 17:38

I think I'll try another walk tomorrow too if nothing happens tonight Cat - I had short walk down to supermarket this morning, got some period pains but they stopped after an hour Sad

readysetcake · 19/05/2018 19:19

I’ve been having such intense Braxton Hicks all day and lower back ache. Been hoping they’d turn to something, but nothing. I’ve such painful hips now from SPD that I’m finding it so hard to walk around. I’m sure being so inactive isn’t helping. Felt very bored, frustrated and ready today!

LadyPug · 19/05/2018 19:23

Same here readyset and also got awful spd, hurts to open legs too far eg to get out of bed! It feels so much harder this time around! Probably because I have a toddler to run around after!!!

readysetcake · 19/05/2018 19:31

Yeah, I definitely think having a toddler has made this pregnancy so much harder lady! I really hope these babies dom’t keep us waiting too long.

Beansprout30 · 19/05/2018 20:05

I'd defo recommend a good long walk if you can manage it, I'm sure that's what kick started my first labour, was 33 degrees too mind probably a bit bloody stupid really but it got her moving

I wa planning on a walk tomorrow but im struggling to go further than five mins without needing to pee!

Wonder who will be next to pop Grin

LadyPug · 19/05/2018 20:29

Eugh! I find walking so hard with the spd :-(

Girlwiththearabstrap · 19/05/2018 20:31

40+9... thoroughly fed up now! Not sure i believe that walking gets you into labour - I've kept up walking 4/5 miles a day plus gym and I've still had zero labour signs!
Starting to feel really uncomfortable, but got induction booked for next week so it won't be too long now..

LadyPug · 19/05/2018 20:34

Ah good luck girl wow 40+ 9! I’m going to stop complaining! You poor thing!!!

Girlwiththearabstrap · 19/05/2018 20:38

It's fine - I was induced at 34+5 with my eldest so going overdue has been better than that at least! I'm slightly concerned the baby is going to be massive though. Just trying to keep walking and swimming lots now. It clearly isn't going to send me into labour but I guess it might help during birth?

LadyPug · 19/05/2018 21:22

Absolutely! Last time I went to 40+12
Then got induced, was a world of hell!

PhoenixDown · 20/05/2018 10:59

Still here too ladies, sending labour-y thoughts to all Flowers

readysetcake · 20/05/2018 12:19

Been having regular pains since 5am. Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies.

LadyPug · 20/05/2018 12:51

Oh good luck ready when is your due date?

readysetcake · 20/05/2018 13:10

Due tomorrow @LadyPug! Just been checked at birth unit and I’m 3cm and looking good to be in labour. So fingers crossed it doesn’t cool off now. That would be disappointing!

LadyPug · 20/05/2018 13:15

Oh well done ready I’m due tomorrow too!!! Good luck! Is it your first?

readysetcake · 20/05/2018 13:28

No second. But with DD my waters broke and contractions started all at the same time and it was the first I knew of it. So this slow start is new to me.
Sending some labour vibes your way!

LadyPug · 20/05/2018 13:41

Ah it’s my second too! But last
Time I was induced so I have no idea what/how/when things start on their own? Good luck and keep us posted!

Bojangles33 · 20/05/2018 16:14

Ooo how exciting! Good luck @readysetcake

PhoenixDown · 20/05/2018 17:36

Ah good luck @readysetcake Flowers

Cat12321 · 20/05/2018 18:33

How exciting @readysetcake! Thanks

Beansprout30 · 20/05/2018 20:14

Good luck ready! Hope you have a straight forward birth xx

PhoenixDown · 21/05/2018 07:51

(the overanalysing of every little thing is ridic isn't it, if I'm honest I've felt crap for weeks!) Grin
