Anyone else had a positive test recently and due in January 2019? Natural cycles says I'm due 3rd Jan 😊 would be lovely to hear others in the same boat!

Currently 4+2 so really early days still.

@beccii161016 I'm 7+5 with number 5, I've had no nausea whatsoever, which I find really disconcerting as I was really nauseous with my other 4. I'm also panicking a wee bit because I'm 42 lol

Sunnybuttercup · 08/06/2018 09:26

Hi @beccii161016, I’m feeling the same as you – I’m 6+3, due around the 29th Jan, so similar sort of time to you, and I had been feeling really queasy so far, up until the last couple of days when the queasiness just seems to have completely cleared up somehow (and my boobs have stopped feeling sore too)… when everything I’ve been reading seems to suggest now is exactly the time those symptoms are supposed to be just starting to really hit. It’s not like I was enjoying the sickiness, but I’m finding it really disconcerting feeling fine again. That 12 week scan can’t come soon enough – it feels like a lifetime away!
I’m also really struggling to manage my hayfever without my normal tablets. Ugh! I just need to get through June (my bad hayfever month for grass pollen). Okay, sorry, end of whinge! Hope everyone else on here is doing well xx

chickita04 · 08/06/2018 10:33

Hey lovely ladies,

So morning sickness has arrived for me. My god it's horrific. Hard to hide too when you're working and don't want to share news till 11/12 weeks.
My boobs also, my god the pain! Especially at night.
I'm 6w+5 but I'm starting to think I could be further as my March period was very light and short. Not normal for me at all. I've got my midwife appointment Tuesday so I guess they'll do bloods etc. Can that pick up how far gone you are?

Also wondered if anyone wanted to share where they are from? Interesting to know if any of us are in similar areas

X

beccii161016 · 08/06/2018 10:55

@Pecan05 @Sunnybuttercup I'm sure we're all absolutely fine and should be enjoying the symptom free days but you can't help but worry can you?!

We'll look back on this and wish we'd enjoyed it when we're huge and struggling to sleep haha!

It just seems to be the longest part of pregnancy waiting for some reassurance! If only we could have a glass of wine WineGrin

Liland · 08/06/2018 11:15

chickita04 - you could get a clear blue digital to check your levels? I think you're meant to add two weeks to what it says though as it measures fro conception rather than your last period? I've no idea if bloods can tell how far along you are (my MW is coming the week after next).

I'm at 6+2 today. I'm really struggling with all-day nausea, extreme food aversions (I'm essentially off everything) and heavy breast pain (probably because they're inexplicably massive). I'm sleeping in cheap nursing bras I bought online which are helping. I'm spending a lot of time in bed laying awake unable to sleep as well, and waking up super early. Can't work out why.

cryptonaut · 08/06/2018 12:34

@Liland I'm also having sleep issues. I never usually wake during the night at all but now I'm waking up several times. Sometimes I'm thirsty, sometimes I need the toilet, other times I'm just awake and can't pinpoint a reason. Hoping it doesn't last the rest of the 7months.

Travelling around London when your bladder feels the size of a pea is horrible!!! Just had to get off the tube to find a toilet, not the easiest of tasks I can tell you! A google search led me to an underground toilet map from tfl, useful if anyone else finds themselves in the same position. But be warned it doesn't appear the toilet is in the underground stations (at least I couldn't find one where I got off).

Liland · 08/06/2018 12:37

I've never drunk so much water in my life! When I do finally get to sleep, I'm waking up 3-4 times either for the bathroom or to drink - it's completely ott.

m4rdybum · 08/06/2018 13:18

I'm so behind with this thread, so I haven't read back. I go everyone is doing well.

Nausea is at a constant, manageable (at the minute) level for me, for now. I feel a bit iffy when I wake up, but if I keep myself busy all day and have a snack nearby, I'm fine. It's just when it gets to about 7pm that I start struggling, until I've forced myself to eat something.

Cried last night because I had bought a pie from the amazing local butchers and struggled to eat it Grin

InDreamland · 08/06/2018 13:31

@cryptonaut I feel for you. Generally the only stations that have public loos are the main national rail big ones or the ones outside zone 1. Right pain.

@m4rdybum I kinda get what you mean by the food thing, must be so frustrating for you.........my issue is all the food I usually love don't taste quite the same. Very disappointing. Thankfully still not been sick once yet and 7 weeks today.

So my bad! Dr Google is not my friend. Saw OBGYN today for follow up (and now final) appointment for infertility .........needed no intervention in the end yay! So I told him about my panicking about mc and how high chances are and he put me straight. Apparently it's 15% not 25% as I had read. Also very low on iron so I'm now prescribed some really high dose of iron tablets.

BowKay · 08/06/2018 13:39

Hi everyone just wanted to update and reassure those of you who have anxiety over not many symptoms. I had a scan today at 8+5 and all was fine, I was so happy and relieved.

I had been very worried as I have hardly any symptoms, slightly sore boobs, some very low level nausea and food aversions. Some days I feel tired and some days I feel fine. Often I would forget I was pregnant so because I have had previous losses I was so scared.

I'm going to try and enjoy the pregnancy now if I can and not obsess over symptoms. I'm still waiting to hear back from the hospital about my booking in appointment so that's the next milestone. Hope everyone is feeling ok today.

beccii161016 · 08/06/2018 14:14

@BowKay that's amazing to hear! So glad little one is growing nicely! Hopefully you can relax and enjoy the rest of the first trimester now!

I was thinking of paying for an early scan for reassurance but I've not heard great things if all is not well! And then you have to have another scan by the NHS to get everything confirmed anyway so I'm going to try and wait it out! Smile

byanyothernamerose · 08/06/2018 14:25

@beccii161016 @Sunnybuttercup I think I am similar to you both, 6+2, due 30th Jan and have been nauseous from about 6 days P.O.! It does come and go though, although today is especially bad...I just got a cup of lemon and ginger tea from my work canteen and am hoping that helps...all I seem to be able to eat is carbs at the moment which I usually avoid so feeling super hefty already, bigger boobs are also contributing to this 🙈

I have booked in for an early scan next Sat to put my mind at rest about my little bean slightly...I go abroad for 2 and a half months the following Monday so really need this scan!! Will be flying back to the U.K. for my 3 month scan...I think I'm going to need help staying calm through all this upheaval!! Shock

Pecan05 · 08/06/2018 15:00

It's just been so long going since I've been pregnant, my eldest is 16 and my youngest is 10, so I can't remember when I felt nauseous with them, I'm a terrible overthinker too so that doesn't help lol

Jojo7777777 · 08/06/2018 19:04

Hi i was 41 yesterday been really nervous i lost an angel in October last year. Im 9 weeks +1 and lost at 9 weeks +4 so really anxious! But yesterday and all today i can find my little rainbow babys heartbeat with sonoline b dopler feeling a little calmer. I have my booking in appointment tomorrow morning and my 12 week scan is not until 13+2 so loooonnnnggggg!!!

Jojo7777777 · 08/06/2018 19:07

And pecan05 my boys are 23,21 and 17 it is like being a nervous new mum again but cant wait maybe its a girl? Oh well i can hope lol

socksonradiator · 08/06/2018 19:31

Thanks @Bowkay and other ladies who have posted that they have had no symptoms at all like me. I've been feeling really pessimistic about the viability of my pregnancy all day today and really needed the reassurance that it can still all be doing just fine in there Smile

I have a big gap too @Pecan and @Jojo. I've already learned so much from mumsnet pregnancy about the procedures etc nowadays. I've been looking into the various NIPT tests today. What a marvellous improvement in screening that is!

Hoping all those suffering with symptoms have a smooth weekend and all those who don't have any symptoms at least get a sore boob or something to ease their minds Grin

Izniz · 08/06/2018 21:39

Hi all! Had our 6 week scan and could see the little heatbeat - so exciting!

Having quite a tough time with the stress. One of my friends just lost her baby at 34 weeks. Cant stop overthinking every twinge. Driving myself crazy.

@Butterflies100 having the same back pain in the same place - so weird!

Butterflies100 · 08/06/2018 21:43

@izniz how exciting for your scan! Strangely my back not as bad today. Had the letter through, have my 12 week scan next Friday when I'm either 12.5 or 8.5. Need to

mum2be2018 · 08/06/2018 23:30

If my dates are right I'm due 29 jan x

socksonradiator · 09/06/2018 05:58

Ack, period pains and spotting as I went to bed last night and still happening this morning Sad Will update later this weekend but what with my complete lack of symptoms, it doesn't look good Sad

socksonradiator · 09/06/2018 06:24

I've just been reading about bleeding at my stage of pregnancy and so far it's only brown/reddish with period pain which is apparently very common; I'm still very pessimistic about the outcome though.
Bang goes my busy weekend of gardening and decorating. DH has ordered me to rest, ugh.

byanyothernamerose · 09/06/2018 08:59

@socksonradiator ...definitely rest!! I read that in the first few weeks especially when little bean is developing so quickly, it is as if your body is running marathons in your sleep!! So relax and let your DH look after you...fingers crossed all is ok..🤞

chickita04 · 09/06/2018 10:10

@Liland yeah I may do that today. Thank you.
My boobs are ginormous they don't look real atm! Need to get new bras today because nothing fits. My sleep is the same as you at the mo although I feel completely knackered all the time broken sleep doesn't help! Hopefully the next 5 weeks fly by and we all start to feel a little better 🤞🏼

sexnotgender · 09/06/2018 10:41

Diarrhoea AND vomiting? Mother Nature you really are spoiling me today...
