Anyone else had a positive test recently and due in January 2019? Natural cycles says I'm due 3rd Jan 😊 would be lovely to hear others in the same boat!

Currently 4+2 so really early days still.

I can only hope!

Yes we’re very lucky, the house comes with my husbands job and they’ve been fantastic at sorting everything out for us. I’d like to chill and take my time unpacking however we have my husbands whole family coming to stay the week we move inConfused I’d usually medicate with wine and gin but can’t this time Sad

InDreamland · 05/06/2018 13:57

That just made me giggle, thanks! You're brave having them round so soon after moving. Do they know you're expecting?

sexnotgender · 05/06/2018 14:02

His parents know but not the rest of them. I’m 7 weeks and after my previous loss I want to get to 12 weeks before I share it more widely in the family. By the time they arrive I’ll be 12 weeks so it’s good timing.

sexnotgender · 05/06/2018 14:02

Oh and believe me, it wasn’t my choice to have them... just bad timing.

InDreamland · 05/06/2018 14:17

That's handy.

12 weeks cannot come quickly enough for me.

loopdeelou · 05/06/2018 14:18

@InDreamland I think I'm going to get a baby on board badge early. I don't have to go into London every day but do fairly frequently. The last time I got on the tube was awful. So hot and squashed in and I felt like I was going to pass out. Don't think there's much you can do except grin and bare it or wear a badge. You could ask someone if you can sit down if you can get anywhere near the seats but I dont see that going down well without a badge. I'm looking pretty bloated so reckon it'd be believable enough if I stick my belly out! Not sure how you're going to get around it if others see you though 😕

InDreamland · 05/06/2018 14:33

Thanks @loopdeelou I have ordered one from customer services online. I asked at the station yesterday just so I had one for when I would really need it and was told they had to be ordered now and they don't have them at stations anymore to just give out. I am planning on grin and bear it but so worried I'm gonna end up in someone's lap soon the way I'm feeling so lightheaded/dizzy and quite often shaky (weird). Trying as much as possbile to work from home if I have no meetings or leaving office early to miss main rush hour.

InDreamland · 05/06/2018 14:35

I am more worried about being caught out by someone I know before 12 week scan. Think I will be telling my parents and sister in a couple of weeks but everyone else is still a risk.

loopdeelou · 05/06/2018 14:39

How often do you bump into others? I know there's a risk but am hoping for you it's unlikely you'll actually see them on the tube. You could you maybe ask to come in a little bit later to miss the tube chaos and chance of seeing others?

InDreamland · 05/06/2018 14:43

The journey in doesn't tend to be an issue as I'm at the end of the line so always get a seat. It's the journey home and it isn't uncommon to see people I know unfortunately. I can reduce the risk by leaving a little early I suppose.

Izniz · 05/06/2018 14:57

@2sonsplus1 thinking of you, know everything will work out for you

Butterflies100 · 05/06/2018 19:33

Hi all. I found out a few weeks ago baby #2 is on their way. Mix up with dates so I'm either due mid December or mid January. Saw MW last week so just waiting for a scan. Excited, nervous and not ready to tell yet!

Firsttimemum1829 · 06/06/2018 18:06

Hi everyone I got my 12 week scan date today, and it’s 3rd July, so glad to have a date at last, but I will be just over 13 weeks so disappointing I have to wait a whole month still almost.

How are you all feeling, I’m feeling so bloated this week, and a few aches and pains. X

cryptonaut · 06/06/2018 18:55

@Firsttimemum1829 how long have you been waiting for your scan date to come through? I've been waiting a week which I know isn't long but just wondering how long I should leave it before following up.

I'm extremely tired. The nausea is subsiding but the fatigue and back pain seems to be increasing. What's annoying is that my friend doesn't believe me that it's this exhausting this early on! She doesn't seem to think that exhaustion, pain and frequent urination happen until you have a large bump.

Firsttimemum1829 · 06/06/2018 19:36

Hi cryptonaut, mine has been 8 days, but Work are trying to book things in for me and I have been getting worried I’m going to have something on at work I can’t moved so I called them up they looked and then told me the date and said I should get the letter in the next few days, so I would give them a call, nothing to lose.

Only hubby and my mum know at the moment, my tiredness has seemed a bit better this week, but we had such a chilled weekend I think that helped recharge my batteries a bit, it’s the bloating I am suffering with most this week, struggling to do my work trousers up x

Iswallowtoothpaste · 06/06/2018 20:27

@cryptonaut your friend is an idiot!!

I’ve been pissing like a racehorse, walked around in a zombie-like state for the past 5 weeks and this afternoon I vomited in morning the bin out side Lidl. Onlookers were horrified apart from one absolute heroine who ran over and handed me tissues. Didn’t know whether to tell folks I’d had a skin full or simply shout ‘don’t panic, it’s not contagious.’ The ladies amongst the general public certainly ‘got it’. Luckily, no one I knew.

I’m 9 weeks either today or tomorrow and this pregnancy has been feeling damn real for a good while now!!

InDreamland · 06/06/2018 20:41

@cryptonaut has your friend ever been pregnant? Have to admit, I had no idea first trimester could be this exhausting, especially in first few weeks - this is my first. I have a new found respect for any woman who has been or is pregnant!

My first scan appt letter came through on same day as booking appt letter - called midwife dept at hospital last week Tuesday and both letters for booking appt and scan came in the Saturday post so only took 4 days.

InDreamland · 06/06/2018 20:44

@Iswallowtoothpaste you poor love! That is my worst nightmare to chuck up in public! Thankfully that is one thing that I have not experienced at all so far, not vomited once but felt nauseous brought on I think by feeling light headed and dizzy. Feel sick now but think that's because I was greedy having dinner Blush

Miffy201 · 06/06/2018 20:50

Is anybody getting bad skin? I look like a teenager!

Lavendersblue42 · 06/06/2018 21:01

Miffy my skin has been awful the last few weeks and hair really greasy too- feel like a teenager again ha!

Booked my booking appointment today, starting to feel more real (apart from the evening nausea and dizziness of course) Grin

sexnotgender · 06/06/2018 21:05

My skin has been rubbish too, I NEVER get spots.

Had a horrible week, horrendous sickness on Monday, dreadful cold since Sunday and today I’ve been crippled by neck spasms. Literally couldn’t get dressed or lie down, was in agony!

InDreamland · 06/06/2018 21:21

@miffy & @lavendersblue me too! Major greasy hair it's embarrassing, I've even had a spotty scalp! Face also getting spotty and I hardly ever get spots - I might get the odd one if I'm on but not every month.

InDreamland · 06/06/2018 21:23

@sexnotgender hope you're starting to feel better now x

Iswallowtoothpaste · 06/06/2018 21:40

@InDreamland I felt rough this morning, OH hadn’t flushed the toilet after going for a No2 (sorry TMI) and that set me off. Felt a bit queasy after that but seemed to settle. Got to kick, out the car and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I honestly didn’t know what to do, saw the bin and acted on impulse. I can’t be discreetly sick either, I’m a full on, overly dramatic, retcher and vommer.

It’s not even like I’ve been sick a lot through this pregnancy because I haven’t, like you say it’s been mostly feeling sick.

Yes I’ve been getting breakouts too. Little pimples on my forehead.

InDreamland · 06/06/2018 21:44

@Iswallowtoothpaste I really feel for you! Think that was pretty impressive quick thinking on your part though to do it in the bin. If it was me it's just have gone everywhere. Your OH needs to learn where the flush is! Gross! Even not pregnant that'd make me feel sick.
