Reduced Movement 37 Weeks...waiting...

Hello,

Currently doing the "lay on my side for 2 hours" thing as advised by a midwife when I phoned up worried about reduced movement. I'm 37+3 and got the feeling they were super busy when I phoned :(

Half an hour in and haven't felt a thing and getting super super worried! I'm not sure if I've felt little flutters but they are just cushioned now due to the baby being so big?

Has anyone any experience of this?

Thanks!

Lovely news! I posted early on and it sounds like our birth stories were very similar. Welcome to your little boy!
Keep taking the paracetamol post-section, it builds up over time and is a brilliant painkiller Grin

KnitFastDieWarm · 02/04/2018 21:25

Oh well done mama! Keep up with your painkillers, you’ll be amazed at how fast you start to feel better. And if they offer you lactulase take it, as going to the loo when a section scar is a bit nervewracking otherwise Grin
Congratulations, enjoy that new baby smell Flowers
