Hello

I thought I'd start a new thread for people who have are due late Nov/ early Dec

12 week scan in 30 mins. Been up since 5:30 feeling anxious 😂 and I told myself I was fine 🤨

AnotherOriginalUsername · 11/05/2018 08:15

Good luck ellsharks!

ellsharks · 11/05/2018 09:41

AnotherOriginalUsername · 11/05/2018 18:26

Glad all is well! My scan is 2 weeks today - so far away!

GreenGooner · 11/05/2018 19:09

Private scan today measuring 11+4. NHS scan came through as well for next Friday. Starting to sink in now 😯

Aww lovely! Does that match with your dates @Green?

GreenGooner · 12/05/2018 06:55

No it's put me forward a few days but I'll wait to see what comes from the NHS scan on a Friday x

I really (really really really) want some Connie Caterpillar sweets from M&S (they're just like fruit pastilles but vegetarian).

Do we think I can convince my husband to do the 45 mile round trip to M&S to get some? Hmm

What will be the nursery is almost done, just putting the carpet down (naturally I'm supervising Grin ). Hopefully all floorboards and water pipes remain intact today

Lovely! Are you doing the carpet yourselves? Very handy!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 13/05/2018 15:48

Yep, hence doing it now rather than in 6 months time!

HanahMarie · 13/05/2018 17:55

Did you get your sweeties @AnotherOriginalUsername ? 😋

HanahMarie · 13/05/2018 17:56

And Yey for more happy scans 😊 we got our screening results back yesterday as well - all good so that's one less thing to worry about 😊 x

AnotherOriginalUsername · 13/05/2018 18:03

@HanahMarie no, I had to make do with jelly tots Shock

Has anyone got any cravings yet?

Emma198 · 13/05/2018 18:18

Sweets! Treated myself to a £4 cup of pick n mix in town the other day!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 13/05/2018 18:26

Ooh that could be pricey! I can't stop drinking sparkling water. Got through 4 litres already today, although my midwife did tell me to stay hydrated!

HanahMarie · 13/05/2018 18:28

Cold OJ and pickled onions for me (not like in a glass together or anything 😋)

HanahMarie · 13/05/2018 18:28

To be honest pretty much just ALL FOOD! 🙈

Emma198 · 13/05/2018 18:39

Far worse things to crave than water! i've got such a bloated tummy already i'm not sure what I'd look like after 4 litres of sparkling water! I went in to work the other day and my deputy said "oh wow look at your bump!!" 11 weeks! It's all pasta i'm sure.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 13/05/2018 18:43

I've been off work for a week and there's no way my trousers are going to do up tomorrow Blush

Emma198 · 13/05/2018 19:21

I'm struggling with clothes!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 13/05/2018 19:31

Glad it's not just me! Don't think I'm ready for maternity trousers yet, but definitely needing a size bigger!

Emma198 · 13/05/2018 20:02

Me too, don't feel ready for maternity clothes so just wearing stretchy stuff!!

HanahMarie · 13/05/2018 20:15

I've noticed that work trousers are starting to not fit or at least just not feel comfortable - so did a bit of an online shop this weekend - asos have some nice and inexpensive maternity stuff that isn't like the over bump style - they just have stretchy side bits Wink

AnotherOriginalUsername · 13/05/2018 21:00

I'm just washing my work trousers and not tumble drying them in the hope that they may fit...

Who am I kidding? They have been popping open for the last 3 weeks!!
