@AnotherOriginalUsername I go in and out of feeling pregnant...

I'm not sure whether it's still just really early...

@AnotherOriginalUsername so glad you said this!!! I took a million (positive) tests, but haven't really felt different at all since then.
Glad it's not just me!

HungryN · 05/04/2018 17:46

@AnotherOriginalUsername YES. Do we really have to wait until our 12 week scan for proof there is something in there?

AnotherOriginalUsername · 05/04/2018 18:11

Glad it's not just me!!

The only "symptom" I have is a really acute sense of smell

Blondcat · 05/04/2018 19:23

Some nausea here which comes and goes, sore boobs, bloating and peeing a lot. Acute sense of smell and tired.

Been for booking in appointment today at my gp surgery with mw. She asked loads about physical and mental health some about dh health, explained future appointments and birth location options contact numbers for mw team and epu and gave me a bounty pack. Took blood pressure, height and weight told me to book in for blood test (got appointment next week) and to take urine sample with me to blood test.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 05/04/2018 20:14

Just home from work and shovelling down a really spicy curry I made this morning. Not even a hint of nausea!

jld1202 · 05/04/2018 21:16

My booking in with the MW isn't until 1st May which feels ages away! Only symptoms my end are being super super tired, tender boobs and very gassy.... needing to pee lots too! I agree that it goes from feeling real one minute to unsure the next! I have taken so many tests (all positive), I've heard most symptoms kick in week 5-7 though?

AnotherOriginalUsername · 05/04/2018 21:21

My appointment is also 1st May. Feels forever away!

Hello ladies!! I’d love to join you all - I’m due with our first on 10th December which is very exciting. Slightly nervous following a ruptured ectopic in 2013 (with my ex-fiancée) and this is my first pregnancy since and first for my Mr too, but already been seen by the early pregnancy unit and everything looks good from blood HCG levels which are developing strongly plus early scan with them in a few days just to be sure everything is in the right place which we’re so excited about.

We still don’t believe it’s real as we’re in our 30’s, first month TTC, I only have 1 tube now and I ovulated from the tubeless side ovary (as advised during a coincidentally timed ultrasound) so we’d written it off for March, but a million pregnancy tests, my blood and the doctors say otherwise!

Anyway hello all and I’m thrilled to be here :)

Sabulous · 06/04/2018 07:35

Hi all! I'm 8+5, current due date 11th November, with our second. DD will just turn 6 when bump arrives.
Currently in bed for my 3rd week with nausea and exhaustion, it was not this bad first time around, and I wish I was one of the lucky ones with no symptoms!!
Still waiting for mw/scan appointments as I found out yesterday that even though I went to the Dr a month ago they didn't refer me. It was thanks to this thread that I checked, as I saw how many were due after me and already had appts, so thank you!

ND348 · 06/04/2018 08:01

@AnotherOriginalUsername I totally understand what you've said! I feel the same, even took another test this morning to make sure it was true! Symptoms have just been sore boobs and waves of light nausea but nothing extreme. Sometimes feels like it is all in my head...

ND348 · 06/04/2018 08:05

Has anyone changed anything since finding out?
I've done the obvious no alcohol and cutting out certain foods (had to sit in secrecy last night while my friends tucked into wine and pate at dinner).
I'm still going to the gym and planning to continue for as long as I can. So far I've not changed anything there but think I might ease off the intensity? I'm also not going to go back to netball this season but not worked out my excuse for my team and it's too early to tell them....I've read it's ok to keep playing but I'd just be too nervous about getting knocked.
I'd love to here if anyone else has changed their habits or routines? Not sure of I'm doing what I'm supposed to or not X

HanahMarie · 06/04/2018 08:08

@AaronPurrSir I'm def more hungry! Ate the most massive plate of spaghetti bolognaise last night - and then a cream cake 🙈 and also felt the need to add chips into my ham and cheese rolls at lunch yesterday...I feel like that 'no weight gain' might have been slightly premature 🙈

AnotherOriginalUsername · 06/04/2018 08:16

ND348 I've not changed much as I'm a teetotal, decaf vegetarian anyway! I've eased off the manual handling at work (I usually lift and carry up to 40kg by myself) and I've eased off the intensity at the gym, but that's just until I speak to my cardiologist and get some specific advice as I have heart failure.

Aridia · 06/04/2018 08:40

I'm still feeling the same really - very tired, restless legs, no appetite really (although I did manage to 'force' down half an Easter egg yesterday!). My boobs have started to get sore though now, and DH swears they've got bigger already!

Is anyone else still getting pinching/pulling crampy pains? I thought they'd have eased off if it was implantation but they're still there, on and off. It's not excruciating, but it's made me worry a bit about the possibility of ectopic or miscarriage.

@ND348 I haven't changed much. I'm vegetarian, rarely drink alcohol so I've cut that out, and I bought some decaf tea bags lol! I'll have to watch myself around cheeses though, I love brie!
Also, we're going to the Sunday Times Wine Club wine tasting festival with friends in a couple of weeks. Explaining why I'm abstaining from all the free wine and cheese is going to be fun 😂

natashaarr · 06/04/2018 09:02

@aridia my OH thinks my boobs have got bigger too, I feel like they have as they are so heavy and sore! I still eat pinching and cramping, not enough for paracetamol and they don’t last long but enough for me to notice them! It makes me worry about a miscarriage too but apparently it’s just your body growing ready for the baby. I have a scan Tuesday so I’ll find out!

AnotherOriginalUsername · 06/04/2018 09:11

Aridia I've had pulling crampy sensations, I figure it's placental development (I'm 5 weeks so seems about right)

AaronPurrSir · 06/04/2018 10:02

I’m 6 weeks tomorrow and still getting the cramping. I figure it’s my womb stretching and getting bigger. Wombs will be the size of a grapefruit by 8 weeks! Shock

How's everyone doing food wise? My plan was to lose some weight, fall pregnant and all live happily ever after. Nope, pregnant first cycle so I'm desperately trying to stick to slimming world whilst I can!

Sabulous · 06/04/2018 11:33

I'm definitely not worrying about weight! I'm eating the food I fancy, important at the moment as I'm quite nauseous.
Enjoy your food, life is too short to be miserable because you're not eating the things you enjoy!

mollymoo0 · 06/04/2018 11:36

@AnotherOriginalUsername I'm the same I can't put any weight on in this pregnancy as I'm already 4 stone overweight and disgusted with myself.

Liz3891 · 06/04/2018 11:37

Yes, I have been wondering this too. My boobs are bigger but I don't have any nausea yet (fingers crossed I'm a lucky one!) at almost 9 weeks.

AnotherOriginalUsername · 06/04/2018 12:04

I lost a significant amount over the last few years (think another whole person kind of significant) but slipped into a depressive episode last year following my heart failure diagnosis (and end to my career) and put a few stone back on. Kicking myself now, naturally!!

EL332 · 06/04/2018 16:21

🤧🤢😫

I feel terrible

I'm nauseous and I have the worst back ache and a horrid head cold...

I think it's all just made worse by the other pregnancy hormones and exhaustion...

I'm ready for bed 😪
