That?s lovely that he likes the bump Glimmer

Mumpbump ? get to tickle my 2 nephews too I love those boys so much!! Worry sometimes that if I had a boy he?d not be as lovely as them DN1 and I call each other ?sausage roll? don?t know why! He?s 3.5!

becklespeckledfrog · 01/06/2007 16:32

Ahhh, Glimmer! Your DH sounds sweet, bless him. Plenty of time yet to train him properly...
Cazzybabs, fab news about your scan! Lucky DD getting a wave too! Hope mine is wiggling around for me next week.
MrsMc, my DH gets off fairly lightly with me too, I am quite easy going and I tend to spoil him a bit. I agree that the meds you have been having may have had an effect on your temp and perhaps you should stop temping if it will cause you any stress? At the end of the day you need to do what keeps you sane and happy! Hope you have a lovely time with your family this weekend, could be just what you need! BTW you must be a good influence on me - just feeling queasy but instead of heading for the crisps (mmmm salt and vinegar...) I had an apple! Wasn't too bad and did the same job as the crisps.

I'm off for the weekend soon and at home with ds and the new nanny on Monday. Have a good weekend everyone and "see" you on Tuesday!

mumto3girls · 01/06/2007 16:57

Glimmer - thanks for asking. My last mc was at approx 7 weeks on March 16th.
I got pregnant without having af between and started this mc on 26th may again approx 7 weeks.
Strangely I have never had such a large loss of blood or clots (sorry if tmi) and amleft wondering why thisone has been somuch worse than others at same stage...?

Mumpbump · 01/06/2007 17:02

Mumto3 - my first m/c was horrendous in terms of the amount of blood and clots and everything, but was late. My second was just like a light period. I suspect there is no rhyme or reason to these things, but you should definitely mention it to whoever you wind up seeing. Did you manage to see your GP and are they referring you?

becklespeckledfrog · 01/06/2007 18:38

Has anyone heard from Pecka lately? Been wondering how she is.

mumto3girls · 01/06/2007 18:56

Thanks everyone...
I just really want to have hcg levels tested because even though I know tha I feel crap and tiredand motiona because of this, my illogca brain ill notstop clinging to the teeeeeeens possibility that all is not lost ( please don't bother commenting on this because logically I know tht I am no longer pg) but becuase i did another test yesterday late in the evening that went positive straight away it's still in my head...
I 'know* that I've lost this pg but I need osme kind of medical proof o gt my brain stoppin imagining...

Thanks for all your kind thought ladies, do appreciate ho lucky I am to be a mther alreday...but we sooo wat another baby, and some people don't undertand that.
Thanks for understanding. Good Luck everyone!!

plummymummy · 01/06/2007 20:23

It's no consolation when others say at least you've got one already Mumof3-if you want absolute confirmation I would suggest Hcg blood tests as they will show a drop if you are miscarrying. So sorry you are going through this . How is your dp?

Great news about your scan cazzy Ditto scaredtobelieve

Mrs McJ - advice given so far sounds sensible. Not too long now til tuesday. Try to rest as much as possible and don't take too much notice of temp til meds out of your system and dh back in bed with you Have lots of fun with your nephews. They sound cute

Jenswish · 01/06/2007 22:16

Mum23, I'm so sorry to hear this for you.... I send hugs and hope that something can be done to give you closure.

Uki · 02/06/2007 03:45

Sneaking in again, I should be working BUT need some time to myself too.

Mrs Mc I completely echo what others say, try not to worry about temperature, I'm not sure about meds affecting it, I don't temp but feel constantly cold at the moment, my circulation sucks and i think the thining of blood could possibily cool temp as pg women are meant to be warm arn't they? the tiredness sounds normal though, i go to sleep very easy these days, manage to read a page if i'm lucky and can't finish watching a movie

about your newphews, little guys are alot of silly fun arn't they.

glimmer- dh spunds so cute to love your bump, mine's very scared and cautious of mine, always watching out for it.

Plummy -are you asking about hb at 6 weeks for yourself? seems like you've been on here longer than that. It's definately possible but the pregnancy is much more viable at 8 weeks, I would not have one before that again as it gave me false hope IYKWIM, Hang in there

plummymummy · 02/06/2007 08:22

Hi Uki. Tell me about it - does feel longer doesn't it. Thing is, I found out at 3 weeks because I have a short cycle. Yes it's me having a scan at 6 + 3 days. The main reason is to rule out ectopic as I had one (or at least suspected one - empty uterus and positive hcg)at 7+4 weeks before. I agree the scan is a bit early but I can go for another one a couple of weeks later. I thought that a hb lowers risk to 20% chance of loss. That's good enough for me right now. I am feeling a bit positive anyway because this is the furthest I've got in a pregnancy without bleeding.

Uki · 02/06/2007 11:36

Plummy- sorry to bring that up then
Did the last pg turn out to be a chemical pg then? i had a suspected eptopic too, and ended up with emergency surgery, but it was a mm/c and sonographer made a big mistake!!!

Congrat's on getting this far, i guess finding out early has made for more waiting, I wish we could find out at 12 weeks. I agree You do have a good chance if you see hb, even at 6 weeks, that's great to have another scan after.

cazzybabs · 02/06/2007 11:38

Pecka posted on the due in Dec thread and is fine!

Hi Uki, the last pg was underdeveloped (showing as only 4-5 weeks when it was 7-8 by date), I subsequently miscarried over the next few weeks. That one was in December. The previous one was the ? ectopic in January last year. I did wonder if I had a chemical pg in Feb/March as I thought I got a line on a sensitive test but later realised I had read the test wrong -doh!
Hi Firststar, the dates are worked out from the first day of my LMP so yes, I could be further along. I don't actually know when I ovulate but I assume it's about day 10-12. I guess I will find out on Monday.

mad4girls · 02/06/2007 18:08

hi guys
sorry not been on for a while butbeen hectic what with half term and such like

just wnated to ask if anyone had, had dissapearing MS, normally sick every morning without fail sometimes twice, but have now not been sick for 2 days, yesterday and today. felt a little sick yesterday but nothing today, now getting paranoid something might be wrong as have never had this in any pregnancies, i did come across an old diary from when i was pregnant with dd2 (i was v.sick with her and admitted to hospital 3 times)and found one entrance stating i had not been sick today, but just the one and nothing about any other times where MS eased.

i am hoping that its just because i havent had to get up mega early to do the school run, get kids ready etc and im just feeling better because i am not as tired(feeling tired makes my sickness worse)

please help someone tell me an "it happened to me and its all fine" story and ill feel much better, just feeling really anxious

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 02/06/2007 19:27

Hi mad4girls...how far on are you?

My symptoms got better around 8 weeks and I was paranoid as I lost the constant sick/tiredness that I'd had from the start. I panicked and booked in for a private scan a few days later. They dated me at approx. 9 weeks and the bub was just fine.....symptoms returned with a vengeance two days later and that was me ill till 20 weeks or thereabouts!

I think symptoms can come and go depending on what hormeones are being produced and in waht quanitites, so try not to worry too much. My boobs were intermittently sore as well throughout my first trimester.

mad4girls · 02/06/2007 20:36

hi daisy
im 13wks had an early dating at 9 wks which seems like yonks ago so they said i didnt need a 12 wk one so not got one till 20wks now which is july 17th seems like forever away

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 02/06/2007 20:42

Try not to panic too much...your [placenta will be starting to kick in about now and symptoms should get less after that anyway..

...and no two pregnancies are the same remember. I never had any MS at all when I was pg with DS, so when I felt fit and well with my second mc I didn't think anything of it, in fact thought it was a positive thing, so...it just goes to show.

could you get a scan done privately? Mine cost about £70 which is a lot of money I know, but I felt it was worth it for the peace of mind it brought!

mad4girls · 02/06/2007 22:07

dont even know how to go about getting a private scan would i have this done at a private hospital, as no idea how to even start, and we dont drive so could cause a problem if we had to go far

we live in Derby how do i find out whats availible i my area, ive stll only had 1 mw appointment at 8 wks and she hasnt returned any of my messgaes as to when to have another appointment and last time she had 8wk delay so cant ask her

any advice pleeeeezzzee

mad4girls · 02/06/2007 22:12

sorry forgot to add also ultra paranoid because all 6 of my pegnancies had sickness all the way through and both my MC's happened at 10 and 11 wks

Furrymummy · 03/06/2007 11:07

Been busy here lately!!
I've been very busy too, went to BBQ yesterday at my Vicar's house - fab Tex Mex style!!
Congrats to all those who have successful scans in the last few days! Makes all the difference doesn't it!
For those who have asked, I, too found ms come and go, might be fine for a few days then it comes back again for days on end. My friend who is now 24 weeks, experienced the same. So I wouldn't read too much into it. Every pregnancy is different after all.

MrsMc how's the cold?
Big HI!!!! to everyone else, {{{{hugs}}}} too.
Hotchoc, Mumpbump, how's your mums doing?
Hey Daisy - how are you feeling? Not long to go now!!
